Immediately upon entering, there was a guy standing there who helped me with the screws from their selection. There were some things they didn't have, and he expressed how they have a variety, but don't have many of each item. The cashier and I had a small conversation while she checked me out. I asked her about a few places around and she told me. This was definitely much cheaper than other Hardware stores. It helps to be able to finish some things on a budget.

I told him I needed a 3 pronged extension cord. He showed me the extension cords. I purchased it. Got to my work, opened it, and saw it was 2-pronged. Immediately went to return it. Had receipt, packaging with cord. Owner came up and said, "first we need to put it back in the packaging correctly." The guy that helped me before started winding up the cord. She told him he wasn't doing it right that the loops were too big! So he corrected them. Then she asked where the wire tie was to wrap around it. It had fallen on the floor. I picked it up. She proceeded to tape the sleeve back together and told me that her customers won't buy something that was opened. Then she took the new cord and slipped the sleeve off of it and said see this slides off easily, you don't have to rip the cardboard. I told her when I opened it I didn't know I would be returning it. Then she walked away. I have never been treated so poorly by someone in customer service. Had I gone to Home Depot they never would have treated me this way. Also the cord probably would have been cheaper. Don't go to this store.

this was the second delivery from Lowes this month, and both times it could not have been better…read more 10+ for each delivery. Great communicatio, on time, drivers were effort and very helpful. And my cost of delivery for the identical items was 40% less than Home Depot (who I also like). Today's driver was courteous, unloaded and neatly stacked everything, and worked quickly.

Purchasing a new refrigerator was not on my list of things to do on the day I woke to find water on…read morethe kitchen floor. The repair technician inspected my refrigerator, diagnosed the issue, and advised me that it needed to be replaced. After hurriedly researching the best product for my needs, I decided on a cabinet depth stainless steel GE Profile refrigerator and found exactly the model I wanted could be found at Lowe's. I immediately drove to Saginaw where I met with Lowe's associate, Brendon in the appliance department whose extensive knowledge, courteous and pleasant attitude I greatly appreciated. Because it was a custom order I was told that delivery would take 10 days, which was completely understandable. Unfortunately problems began with delivery scheduling, followed with setup and installation. When the refrigerator did arrive it was left setting in my garage. Frustrated and stressed, I made several phone attempts before finally reaching a manager named Theo. Theo was incredible. He patiently listened to my concerns and immediately arranged for the setup and installation. To assure no further complications, Theo personally came to my home at the time the installation crew was scheduled to arrive and the crew did arrive as scheduled. They were incredibly pleasant, polite and careful, taking off the refrigerator doors and lifting the unit up a step to get it safety into the house. I am very thankful for their patience and hard work. Theo went above and beyond my expectations to assure my issues were addressed and the setup was completed. I cannot thank him enough for his time, patience and for simply demonstrating that he cared. While the process had some bumps, the outstanding customer service from Brendon and Theo made all the difference and their efforts have restored my confidence In Lowe's.
