She said this was a special for anyone regardless of whether they were a member. When I stepped up to do my transaction she never mentioned this. Didn't read other reviews but just posting based on my experience today. Limit 25 people inside the store at once. There's someone outside that keeps track. Inside everything is organized. There was a long line but the 2 cashiers helped everyone really quickly. There's also a 20% coupon right now that expires June 30. Just show it on your phone and the cashiers will scan the physical coupon they have. Great experience, no complaints. read more

I had an issue with parts being different on a service cart in the box than the floor model. The Manager apologized and upgraded the wheels to match the floor model. He explained they actually used the cart in the store and the wheels had been upgraded and it should not have been used as the display. Great Customer service! I want to offer (maybe) a contrarian viewpoint. Harbor Freight is great - but it's not just cheap & disposable goods. We ARE PROS - licensed commercial/industrial general contractors, as well as HVAC mechanical. We DO buy lots of our tools and equipment from HF. As long as you are 1. Comparing quality f quality - they work & endure every bit as well as the big-name tool lines f the "big-box" stores and for less up-front money. 2. We have numerous employees using (and mis-using) our tools - so, why give them an expensive name brand tool that they might often break from abuse, leave on the job site or just steal? We get plenty of service out of our tools & equipment f HF. We have stuff that's lasted years. Of course, if you don't know how to use a tool properly, you might ruin it, from abuse. That happens. We are happy professional customers. read more

Cheap tools. Need tools for a weekend project? This place has the stuff you need if you're only going to tighten one specialized bolt, or work on a weird part. The tools here are pretty much single use, they break after any prolonged use. This is not the place to get quality long-lasting tools. But the price is right. All this stuff here is made in China with the cheapest materials possible. It's perfect if you're not trying to make a living with these tools, and just need it once. Some Lowe's and Home Depot will rent you tools, check their websites. It can be a good alternative to rent some tools instead of buying cheap-o tools here. The clerks here were nice, but clueless. There are often coupons for 20% off any item that only come in the mail. Often, you can score a free flashlight or multimeter if you get the right coupons. read more

This is the location I go to most often. The store is usually clean and customer service is okay. As far as I recall, they've always had the products in stock that I was looking for including the sale items. The checkout line can get long sometimes but most of the regular customers know to start one line so that no one gets stuck behind a slow checkout. As with all Harbor Freight Tools, you general get what you pay for. I'm a home DIY guy so their products general work great for my purposes. I've been happy w/ the generator I got there for tailgating. (Their version of the $1000 Honda.) The manual tools have been fine. Zip ties, cables, etc...all fine. Most of the power tools have been fine. Like the sanders, reciprocating saw, etc. However, I bought one of their power drills and it wore it fairly quick, but, it got a lot of use from me. The only things I've gotten that were terrible were some scissors they gave away free w/ a coupon and some of the cheap plastic clamps. read more

so sad i bought a straight line sander 63994 please be aware that you can not get replacement parts or bottom pad for this so iIspent good money for this sander and is junk and cant use anymore . NO MORE HARBOR FREIGHT FOR ME. read more

It is Harbor Freight, so you get cheap tools and such and that's what this place is about. Now every time I went there you had to wait for a long time to pay. Now sure why they are always so slow as they should know when more people are in the store but this happens every single time that it takes at least ten minutes until I can pay. So this is always a problem. The stuff they sell is cheap, so what should I say about that? Quality can be good but isn't always good. But if you want higher quality, you shouldn't come to this chain. read more

The service here SUCKS. I came in around 8:30, before they changed operating hours, and the sales associate kept insisting I needed to "hurry your ass up, we close in 5 minutes." Well, her clock was wrong. Yet, the clock on my cellphone and on her POS showed that the store was still open for 30 minutes. Service overall at this place sucked, and this location reeked of plastic and chemicals. Probably what the factories in China that make their products smell like. The Harbor Freight on 410 treats you better. I'll steer clear from this location in the future! read more

Good prices - average quality tools. So, if you are a simple weekend warrior for small or once a lifetime projects, get your stuff here. IF you are a PRO however, you probably already know (or should know) you should go to Northern tools, Home Depot etc for top quality tools. Yes they are pricier but you get what you pay for. This Saturday morning I went (10/28/17) the place - as usual - had a line of customers at the registers. They did open a register to help the flow As much business as they do - you would think they would prefer to get customers in and out and not make them wait in line But - what do you do? Great option for inexpensive tools of varying quality. The staff is helpful, but sometimes they can get overwhelmed at the cashiers on busy days and you may have to wait in line for a bit. Pretty good selection of all kinds of tools, I usually end up getting additional things I didn't know I needed until I found out they exist ;) read more
