The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?

I have been taking my window screens to them for years. Almost always satisfied with the results (one time the screen was not centered). Anyways, since it was a big screen and I was using my RX, I took it early in the morning, when they opened, to avoid traffic. I was told by the rescreener that they have same day turnaround. I replied that I would probably return early the next morning. By one o'clock, I received a voicemail that my door was ready for pickup. I went over an hour later and got it. Very impressed with the service. I chose the SunTex? material, I believe it's called, to reduce the rays by 80%. I was expecting to pay at least $100. Price was $60 and change. I called customer service to let them know what happened. It was so refreshing to be able to speak to a live person. I am a senior citizen and I get a bit frustrated with other stores where I have to listen to long recordings and push a lot of buttons before getting to a real customer service agent. Anyway, Bert was the customer service person who answered my call. He was very friendly and helpful. He spoke to a store manager named Jose and told him what happened. Within a few minutes Jose authorized Martin Estrada to deliver the missing part of my order to me. I am very impressed by how professional these men were, and by the way they put their customers first. Last but not least. I love visiting Home Depot's garden department where they have the sweetest cat that comes up to greet you! Since I love gardening and cats this really is my favorite place to shop!

When it came to pay, the staff tries to redirect you to self checkout. I have been AVOIDING to shop at Home Depot due to all of the ICE Agents and the problems it has been causing the Latino/Hispanic communities.
