    Great service. Great products with great selections at a great value a great value. I highly recommend checking them out especially if you're looking for a fridge or a washer and dryer right now they have some great deals.

    As a small business owner running a catering company, time is everything. I stopped by Lowe's recently for a quick purchase--a ladder I clearly saw priced at $59 in aisle 17. But at the register, it rang up as $99. I brought it to the associate's attention, and Nilda asked me to go back and take a picture of the price tag. I did exactly that--capturing both the tag and the product placement, which showed multiple ladders under the same $59 price. When I returned, Nilda acknowledged the pricing discrepancy and said she needed manager approval. That's when Manager Monique came over, and the entire experience took a disappointing turn. Despite seeing the matching SKUs and acknowledging the incorrect price tag, Monique was resistant to honoring what was clearly a store error. She even pretended to call someone for "approval" and gave me a dismissive attitude, as if I were making the whole thing up. Thankfully, another manager named David went to verify the tag and confirmed it was indeed a misprice. He even removed the tag. But still, Monique dragged the process out for over 20 minutes--for something that could've been resolved quickly and respectfully. Her demeanor lacked any sense of urgency, empathy, or customer-centricity. The frustrating part isn't just the delay--it's the principle. I had the evidence. Their team confirmed the issue. And still, I was made to feel like I was being dishonest. As someone who values professionalism and efficiency, especially while juggling client commitments, this experience was a complete letdown. This is exactly why brick-and-mortar stores are struggling. When employees act like they're doing customers a favor by simply doing their job, they fail to build trust or loyalty. Employees like Monique should be reminded they're fortunate to have a job--especially one that hasn't been replaced by automation or AI, which would have resolved this situation far more efficiently and without the attitude. I don't enjoy writing reviews like this. In fact, I regularly use Yelp to spotlight amazing restaurants and businesses that go above and beyond with their service. So writing this review was truly disappointing, but necessary--because customer service matters. And this location, unfortunately, fell far short.

    I would have been shocked and surprised if this hardware store got anything but 5 stars on Yelp…read more Anawalt Lumber store is my go-to whenever I need to buy things that other hardware stores don't have. Employees are very helpful, attentive, nice, welcoming and very knowledgeable. They know where everything is. It has a vast selection of items that people need and everything has its own price. Some things are even on sale. Walked in yesterday at exactly 2pm and was helped by a lovely lady by the name of Isabelle. She wanted to know how she could have helped me? What was it that I needed? I told her that I needed few items for my house. After she listened to my requests, she literally walked me to all the aisles that carried what I needed. Needed a Dust Buster and they had 2 different kinds. A regular one (39.99), and more of an advanced one for ($59.99). A long broom, a Lavatory Strainer for a temporary fix until our plumber gets the actual part to come and fix my bathroom sink. Then I saw a Pop- Up Stopper. What it does is that it closes the hole in the sink for hair, food, residue, not to clog up the sink. We also needed a small bbq grill (4th of July being right around the corner). Got that too. A toolbox with all the right tools in them. Had Red and Black. Got red..one of my favorite colors. Every now and then, something breaks down and either myself or my son has to fix/repair them. Honestly this store has everything for your house, car, office needs. I also got some cleaning supplies for the house. 409, Lysol (pack of 2), and Tide. Store was nicely organized, clean and fully stocked. Aisles were very easy to navigate. Big parking lot and I believe restroom/S too. Didn't have to use them. Thank you Isabelle, Anwalt, and management for making my shopping experience easy, seamless and effortless. For all that I paid less than $160.00 including tax.

    Like all True Value Hardware stores, you definitely want one in your neighborhood!…read more I don't live near this one anymore, but I was driving by the other day and since I actually didn't need to stop at a hardware store, I popped in to spend my money here. They are not one of the big box stores, so they're not gonna always have everything you want, but they will help you search every aisle to potentially find it or possibly something similar. The staff is always pleasant and the prices are always fair (based on whatever economy it is at the time).
