I always thought this place was more for farm and ranch owners but they have a little bit of everything just In smaller portions. They have stuff for your home and yard, pets from dogs to horses. They have little baby chicks you can grab for your house. BBQ, tractors and so much more. I come in here for the dog food as it's always in stock and it's less lines in this store. The first time I went in, Gypsy was my cashier and told me very rudely that the dog wash wouldn't be open until Sunday due to renovations. I didn't say anything and just went on with my day because I don't like to complain. The second time, I came back specifically to wash my dog since it had been closed before. Gypsy was my cashier again. She told me the dog wash closed at 6:00 and kept emphasizing that we missed it by 16 minutes. She even took out her phone to show us the time, which felt like she was emphasizing it even more in a rude way. I completely understand that the dog wash closes at 6:00 and would have respected that, but the tone and the way it was said came across as unnecessary and unkind. I needed something called mosquito bits to combat my gnat infestation in my potted plants. Searched around to Find somewhere I could order and have delivered and I could only find high priced resellers Lo and behold - searching brought me to tractor supply website and they said it was on stock. I ordered on a Wednesday night for pickup - thinking it would be ready by the weekend. 10 minutes later - I get an email it's ready but it says I have until Friday to pick it up I looked at a map and battling traffic after work to this location would not be fun- and it was further out then I thought. If I could pick it up Saturday I could combine some Other errands in the area Phone was picked up promptly by Kim- explained my issue and she said no problem, explained what would happen so I can pickup on Saturday Pickup Saturday was smooth - got to meet the wonderful Kim in person! My plants are looking better. I stoped by this store on my way home from work at 5:40pm. We've been having the worst rains in years and I needed to pick up two pairs of rain boots and tractor parts. I would have easily spent over $150 today. When I walked in no one greated me or bothered telling me the store was closing at 6! At 6:05 I walked up to the register with my boots after spending a good amount of time trying to sort through the sizes and appropriate prices just to be told they are closed. I point out I don't see anywhere that was listed since store hours are on saying 8pm!!!! One of the employees who I walked by early when I entered the store points out on a little sheet of paper taped to the SLIDING DOOR that it's listed. The 3 stars is for corporate. Doing online orders is like pulling teeth. A couple of months ago there was an issue where I never got credited for an online order that expired. The people in the store couldn't trouble shoot for me, so they forwarded me to corporate. Even after talking with one of their customer reps, it took a week to get my credit back. I was almost tempted following that, to check all my past orders that may have been cancelled due to my not picking up in the proper time window. Then just tonight, I tried ordering a simple bale of afalfa/orchard grab and go. I was in Chrome, and it looked like everything was ok then all of a sudden when I checked my cart I got a flag that said: "Sorry but this item is unavailable." Huh?!!! So I called the store. And the employee who helped me actually saw that there were several in the store and by his own admission there were probably more on the cart outside. He apologized and said that corporate has issues in their IT department. Uh...YA THINK?!!! Just for a test, I tried to make the same order on Firefox. Miraculously I got as far as checking out with my item and thought i was home free. Then there was a red flag that came up which said: "Sorry but this order can't be processed right now." SMH. We have been going to this particular location of Tractor Supply since they opened up. We were excited to get one that's semi close, it's still a bit of a drive but we were happy nonetheless. That being said we will not be going back here or to any tractor supply location if things don't change. There is a manager there named Ched and he is so extremely rude to customers and employees!! He always has a bad attitude and acts like the customer is bothering him. My husband has experienced on several occasions his rude attitude and has let it go before because we know people have bad days. However it continues to happen and happens especially to anyone who isn't white... I can see other reviews from years past stating the same thing and Tractor Supply obviously doesn't care to address the issue. When we've mentioned it to employees they say he's always like that. So because he's a manager he can treat employees and customers like that? It's a shame that this is accepted as "customer service". If I could give zero stars I would. read more

This place is located just off of Sierra highway up on the hill. I had came to this place to get some hardware to build some barn doors on my shed, but unfortunately they did not have everything in stocked. They took the time to look up everything I needed and let me know that the Tractor Supply in Palmdale had everything in stock and gave me the address so I made the drive out there. They also gave me the option that if I wanted to come back the following day they would go and get it for me, but I did not have much to do so off I went. The staff working there is very polite and professional and the store is very large in size plus they have a large storage area outside and plenty of parking. I highly recommend this place read more

I had come to love TS for it's small town feel, selection, decent value, and convenience... until today. When the app says you have 8 units of something in stock, available for pickup and delivery, then I expect that item to be available for purchase when I go to the store. Today, I needed a jug of kerosene. The app shows 8 units available. I drive to the store to hear a whole story about how they are changing out their seasonal selection (who cares?) and the item I need, while in stock, is "not available for sale" because their back room is too cluttered with stuff to retrieve my item. Poor job putting the customer first in this instance. Clearly, you don't think my time is valuable. I will think long and hard about returning to this store. read more

I love Tractor Supply but, sadly this being my local one, it's not the greatest. Although I enjoy browsing the aisles my main focus is usually the Equine Products. Throughout the last few months since I moved to SCV, I have seen their inventory of horse products dissipate. They rarely restock anything & have very little inventory on shelf. The Equine section is very sad, It's really disappointing. I'm not sure if they're trying to phase out their Equine section but communication of that would be better than just never having any stock. read more

The store is brand new and looks great! It's right off of Sierra Hwy up a freshly paved driveway. Parking is adequate and it's not busy. Walking inside it's a farmers or country girls dream. There are many departments there such as: western apparel, equine supplies, dog and cat as well as bird seed and feeders. There is a great selection of hardware also. Nuts, bolts, picture hangers ext. They even have baby ducks and chickens! The lady talking with me about the birds was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. I think her name was Joelle? I could stay there all day and listen to them chirp. They only get them in for spring and fall. Really great place to shop for all your needs! read more

If you're an average city homeowner like me, then this store is just something to browse through. The parking is up a narrow paved road with some parking spaces up above. We went on a weekday morning, so it wasn't busy. They have an assortment of items in this store: clothing, garden supplies, seeds and bare root trees/bushes, hardware, electrical, horse and pet food/meds/toys, books, auto/truck/tractor parts, etc. etc. Live ducklings, hens, etc. You get the picture. Came down here last Sunday to check out a safe that I wanted to purchase two days later when their Black Friday sale started. They didn't have one on the floor but the gentleman working the counter was nice enough to pull one out for me, I noticed a few scratches and a small dent but I figured id get another from the back. I asked the guy if this was the safe that would be on sale for Black Friday and he said no...that this was already on sale for 499.95... that the safe would NOT be on sale. Tuesday morning I tried to order online for curbside pickup and that wasn't available. I drove all the way to canyon country from Pasadena, I got there at 8:10 AM just 10 minutes after they opened and I go ask for the safe and I'm told they're sold out....I walked to the safes and saw the scratched one on the floor and inquired about that one. It took 10 minutes of the employees talking to the managers before I was given the okay to purchase it. I paid for it and told them I'd be back in a couple of hours to pick it up. I show up with my box truck and some friends, we pull into the back and notice that four safes had one guys name on it. I'm not doubting that some guy walked in before I did and cleared them out but either way it's annoying that they wouldn't limit him to 1-2 safes. In the end I got my safe although with a small dent/scratch. I was also very annoyed because I never received an email with my receipt which means they didn't use my reward card I'll never come back to this location read more

Excellent customer service! We were greeted at the door immediately and then when we were rung up, a worker helped us carry some of the heavier chicken feed into our trunk. After we ordered some flakes for our chickens they made sure to ask which type we wanted (normal size or the smaller ones) and we got to choose. They also helped us load it into our car after we drove to the back of the store. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the store had everything we needed for our chickens and dogs. We even got to see the new turkey chicks and ducklings for spring. read more

We drove from Arcadia to Canyon Country over an hour to buy a dog kennel. The staff was amazing and so helpful. When we got home we thought we were missing a part. I've been having problems with getting help from the workers nearly every time I've come. There is never anyone around to help and when you do find someone, they act as if you've inconvenienced them. Recently purchased a higher priced item ($150+) which was in a locked case. After twenty minutes of searching for someone to open it, I was helped by a man who repeatedly told me to "slow my roll" because asking for something in a case is apparently getting ahead of myself? Mind you, there were maybe 5 customers in the store. After pointing out the item I wanted, he grabbed it and wouldn't let me hold it or inspect it and personally escorted me to the register like I was about to book out the door and steal it. I didn't put my hands on the box until my card went through and the transaction was finished. The icing on the cake was checkout, where I looked up to see multiple guns sitting on the shelf near the front. Animal clippers need to be locked up, but guns don't? I've been coming here for a while now, but I think this was the last straw. If you're in need of animal feed, ranch equipment, or the like, just go down to Fox Feed instead. They don't have as big of a selection, but at the very least they are willing to help their customers. read more
