BEST GROOMER I'VE EVER HAD!! We love Leti!!…read more I with I could give this business a million stars!!! I have a little Lhasa Apso who is 14 years old and about a year ago she decided she hated grooming and whenever I took her in she would come back half groomed b/c they groomers couldn't handle her. I searched and searched to find someone who could do her properly, and who could come to the house, which I thought would be less stressful for her. After sending out tons of emails to the groomers on Yelp with 5 stars I heard back from Leti and she was able to come a few days later and did an AMAZING job. Nobody has been able to groom my dog's face and Leti was able get just about everything perfect. (there are a few hairs close to her eyes that just can't be gotten!). My dog also liked Leti and there were no hard feelings after the grooming session, despite how much my dog hates being groomed...in fact she really liked Leti. This really feels like a miracle, I was so despairing over this b/c my dog half the time had overgrown hair and now she looks as clean and fluffy as she ever has. Thank you Leti!

Well, I called them and it went straight to voicemail in which she says to send her a message on Facebook (not everyone has Facebook smh!). I left a message requesting a quote/appointment. I also texted them and a week later and no response. You can say a lot based on a business response, so thanks I guess. See attached image.

He is extremely…read morepatient (even with my gazillion questions and very neurotic self), very gentle with the dogs, and is quite flexible with the pick-up and the drop-off dates - he works with you to see which time would be best, and his rates are definitely comparable, if not competitive, with other dog sitters in the NoVA area. I honestly was comfortable and was not worried when I dropped my pup off for a few days, and Myron always responded to my emails to let me know how she was doing. I highly highly highly recommend him, as he is really good as it gets. They also offer dogwalking services, too. +ask for Mr. Myron +farm trip during the summer

That's how I found Myron and Pawsitive Pets. Myron was helpful from the moment I called him. He really wanted to know my needs and my dog's needs. He then offered a variety of options that could work with my lifestyle. Even though, I initially was looking for someone to walk my dog, we figured out that our best option was for him to look after my pup at his house for 3-4 hours a day. Myron's got a big house, and a huge backyard filled with lots of doggie toys, and 8 foot tall cement walls, so you never have to worry about your dog escaping! I'm really happy with the service, and now my dog gets to socialize with lots of other dogs, gets trips to the dog park, and lots of outdoor exercise time! This is exactly what he needed! I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Five Pups. The number of times my fiancé and I have had to work late or travel out of town last minute-- Arthur and Five Pups always comes through. They are so flexible, picking up and dropping off our little guys when we need and I never feel stressed about it. I provide their food and medications and feel comforted that they're in good hands. We get texts with lovely pictures of our babies playing (attached). I know they have a good time, because they literally run away from us and to the van, and never want to come home when they're being dropped off (*cries*). They're always home smelling fresh (and bathed), and exhausted from playing. Incredibly grateful to Five Pups and the top notch daycare and boarding. Highly highly recommended.

This is hands down the best dog daycare spot in DC!! We absolutely love sending Ruby, our 10 month…read moreold mini Australian Shepherd, there for the day. 5 reasons why you should send your dogs to them: 1. They take great care of the dogs and will send you pictures throughout the day so you can see how they're doing. I'm always jealous of Ruby because she's clearly having way more fun than me. 2. Your dog gets to run around OUTSIDE with other dogs during the day (weather permitting of course). I once asked how much time they spend outside and they made it clear that if it's uncomfortable for you to be outside (too cold, too hot, etc.) then it's uncomfortable for them to be outside and they bring them in. 3. Your dog will be super excited to see Arthur when he comes to pick them up so you know they love them and take care of them like they're their own. 4. Did I mention Arthur will come to you and pick up your dog?! We live in Columbia Heights for reference. 5. If you have a younger dog or a rescue that's the only dog in the house, it's a fantastic way for your dog to get in a whole day of socialization and playtime while you're at work. Especially if they're a pandemic baby! One last thing. When we first started sending her, we had lots of questions about the facilities (since they're in Indian Head, MD, we didn't really want to drive over there to check them out ourselves) and they took the time to answer every one. They clearly care about the health and safety of the dogs in their care and have invested time and money into their setup. I can't remember the details of all the recent upgrades. But I'm sure if you asked they'd be happy to share that info with you. My dog was attacked by another during his 8 hr daycare stay. We picked him up at around 4pm and later found out that this happened at around noon. We were not notified and my dog was not taken to vet. When we picked him up we immediately noticed he was limping and she (Fionas mom) LIED. I put my foot down and inspected him on their front lawn and found the pictured wound actively bleeding. She continued to lie saying nothing happened and she doesn't know how that got there and even tried saying it happened before we dropped him off (when he was perfectly fine at drop off and I KNOW there were no wounds because I brushed him RIGHT BEFORE dropping him off so I would have seen it). Only after we left and took him to an emergency vet did we get a text from Fiona saying that a dog jumped on him, attacking him and had to be pulled off my dog. This is a very condensed version of the full story but they were deceptive and didn't have my dog's well being in mind as he would have been taken to vet immediately - not laying in pain bleeding for 4 hours. Think twice before entrusting your babies to this daycare.
