He loves his dogs and the ones he, and by extension Dog Gone Walking, takes care of and you can really tell. At the end of each service you get a pet journal, where the walker or sitter gives a little report of what your pet was up to or accomplished, as well as a photo and - I won't lie - they're the highlight of my day. This holiday season we also used them to pet sit our two dogs. I was very nervous leaving them, but Mike (and the others - especially Brittany) were great at handling my questions and giving updates. He has lots of anxiety and gets depressed whenever we have to leave him for extended periods. The first time we used this service, we left him with my brother and went on a trip out of state. Normally, he doesn't eat or poop when we leave him like this for a few days. However, he absolutely loved his walks with Ashley and my brother told us he ate and had a regular bathroom schedule! We got daily reports from Ashley and pictures with detailed information on if she gave him treats and his activities/pace during the walk. It was heartwarming to see our little guy being cared for while we were away. Because this was so great, we used the service again when I had to travel out of town. My husband was home but had to work really long hours so we had Marsha take Rockie for his afternoon/evening walks. Again, we got detailed reports and our little guy was very happy (evidenced by his regular eating and bathroom schedule). We also have a doorbell camera that automatically took a couple of 20 second videos and seeing how kind and caring Marsha was with our baby really put the icing on the cake! He said I was just a bit out of their service area, but he could make it work based on our flexibility with days. We scheduled the initial meetup on Saturday, and he says he's right outside. I text him because no one is on the driveway, and even send him the address again. He texts back that he thought no one was home (2 cars in the driveway and I confirmed we were home just 20 min before). And he cancels saying we are 30 min away from his farthest client. Randomly, he texts me 3 images of dogs and cats for no reason. With today's technology, he could have Googled my address and known the distance from me to his next client without having to drive it. I can understand if we were located way outside of his service area, but either the service map is out of date, or Brian just doesn't care to be professional about declining service. He should have notified us with a phone call instead of a random text message 10 minutes after our appointment saying, "It didn't look like anyone was home.". It seems professionalism and courtesy are seriously lacking for this company. I would not recommend Wags 4 Walks to anyone since Brian was not honest with us in any way.

I've used this company for about a year and a half and have had a good experience with my dog's…read morededicated walker, but anytime a substitute walker is needed there seem to be issues. A decent example is when the substitute didn't have a key to my unit (a key which my dedicated walker has) and saw that the management office was closed (there is a sign on the door saying to push a call button to get in touch with someone from the management office), instead of calling my cell or my emergency contact, the walker just stayed in the lobby for the allotted walk time. This meant that my dog didn't get walked that day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time so I write this review as a caution to anybody looking for pet walking services that while this company's dedicated walkers are great, they don't have the best customer service when your walker isn't available and at the price you're paying per walk, it's unacceptable that this type of incident has happened on multiple occasions.
