I can't go to Greece every year, I don't live precisely on the water, but I CAN remember Little Venice in Myconos with a glass of wine, fabulous dips and seafood@Harborlights, on the deck or next to a window. My family considers this location, the only spot for special dinners or a cheat mini-vacation for lunch. This is where we make our memories.

Hands down the best seafood and waterfront dining experience in the Norwalk area! [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the warm, family-owned atmosphere to the amazing service, this place never disappoints.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Chef Jimmy's stuffed shrimp is absolutely incredible with fresh, flavorful, and one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pair that with the beautiful views on the water, a great wine selection, and a welcoming staff, and you have the perfect spot for any occasion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you love fresh seafood and a great atmosphere, this is a place you'll keep coming back to!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Harbor Lights is your choice for the more formal dining room approach to seafood in Norwalk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good indoor or outdoor options although the sun and heat had us choose indoor more than once.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The seafood is fresh, well presented and tasty. Definitely runs traditional but not in a tired way. The crab stuffed shrimp (see picture) had real connection with the spinach and beurre blanc and as a result the jasmine rice was not dry or incidental to the dish. Service was good although we may have benefited from being a welcome no drama reprieve for our waiter. Given this is Norwalk and next to the harbor, it is perhaps not a shock to learn that entitlement could be on display. It literally was the "a lobster for you, a lobster for you, a lobster for you" kind of approach to ordering at the next table. And then come on man, really? The lobster is served and then you decide you want a sandwich instead and send it back? Showing off for both your kid and for your friend? Perhaps it my Midwest background that makes this so cringe worthy, but let's just say there is a risk of running into more money than sense.

Steak Sandwich, Angus Burger and crab cake sandwich. Drinks: golden sunset and Water street

I was very wary coming here due to the reviews. But the service was absolutely wonderful. People are more likely to write a bad review than a good review. My advice? Give it a try yourself and make your own judgement. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes in there were wonderful. Absolutely beautiful inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although next we will sit inside where the AC is haha. We were sweating and not too much shade outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious. I got the steak sandwich and it was so good. The horseradish sauce wasn't my favorite but I'm not a big horseradish fan so I would take that with a grain of salt. My friends got a crab cake sandwich and another got an angus burger. Both seemed well liked by them as well!! The crab cake sandwich came with a tartar sauce that was so flavorful. Regardless, loved the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We wore dresses and was able to take some pretty pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend.

Food and service are mediocre at best. Very over priced. If you want a nice view bring your own food to the beach. It will cost a lot less.

Large bar area, a larger dining room great for private events (which they do a lot of) per our attentive waiter and a smaller dining area near the front window. My friend and I had 3 of their specialty cocktails while there which we enjoyed very much. We had the octopus with fingerling potatoes which was delicious; the octopus was very tender. We also had the mussels in a white wine broth, it was great. It was a good sized portion for two, but we almost ordered another as it was so delicious. It came with bread to soak up the yummy sauce. My friend had a decaf cappucino and the goat cheese flan since she didn't want anything too sweet. It was also great, the tangy cheese wasn't noticeable in it and kept the flan from being too sweet (personal preference). They had other flans and Dulce de Leche as well.

So on my way to do a side quest for my job, I decided to see what I could have lunch. Originally,…read moreI had my sights set on an El Salvadoran joint over on Fort Point, but that was essentially a cash only place, so I continued on to see what else was available. After a fair bit more walking, I walked by this place, a Greek restaurant that was in the same plaza that used to have a Five Guys there. Initially I walked a slight bit further to see if there wasn't anything else, but it didn't take me long to circle back around and head over here. Customer service was fine. It was my first visit here, so they walked me through how to order, and yes they do have menus you can take if you decide to come back in the future. I did however want to take a pic of their wall menus for Yelp because that's what I do as a Yelper. They kind of said it right away as I took my pictures, which leads me to think they have a slight bit of trouble trusting the process. That said, I won't knock them too much for it because I knew they meant well with it. I do however want to point out one comparison that one of the employees mentioned here: that their ordering system was like Chipotle. Now, I know some people swear by Chipotle and would likely die on that hill, but I have been to Chipotle enough times that I really wish she didn't say that. It undersells this restaurant to a point that putting this on the same level as Chipotle is a disservice to Truly Greek. Why? Because unlike them, this place is actually cleaned after, and the bathroom is cleaner and actually encourages good hygiene. Qdoba would be a far fairer comparison if that employee really wanted to name a fast food establishment to compare this to. If you choose to eat-in, be careful where you sit. They had a chair keeping the door open, so I spent my meal feeling the cold wind blowing on my face. Seriously, are they trying to turn me into Frosty the Snowman in late May? But if you're willing to brave it or choose another seat, the chairs are made of wood with bamboo cushioning. Honestly, the chairs weren't bad to sit on. The food was good. Not perfect, but good. I first tried had the Greek Fries. The fry itself has a light crunch, but it's also a bit limpish if that makes sense. The feta cheese do bring it to a higher level and makes the fries pretty good to eat. The one thing I did notice as ate these fries was that the vinegar that went into the dish stood out more than the rest of the dish, and I can't be sure if that's a good thing or not. It really depends on how much you like vinegar, but yes, the vinegar was quite prominent here. As for what I built, I had a pita with tzatziki, lamb, red pepper, feta, red onion, and cucumber as well as a second sauce I don't quite remember. It was another sauce that was whitish in color. Gyros in general are a tad difficult for me to get through, but this was a good gyro and I wouldn't mind having this one again. If half-stars were a thing, I'd give this a 3.5, but I rounded up to a 4 here. Other than the windy air coming in, this was an overall good visit. Oh, interesting fact, the boss came in while I was in the middle of my meal. I didn't talk to him, but it looks as though he brings his family here every now and then. I mostly ignored these interactions because the only thing relevant as far as I'm concerned was me and my food. So yeah, there ya go!

The biggest issue is online ordering and fulfillment. I almost always order online for convenience, but on most occasions my order is not prepared until I physically arrive and ask for an update. At that point, the convenience of ordering online completely disappears. You are honestly better off ordering in person. My most recent experience, which was today, really highlighted the problem. I placed my online order around 11:50 AM and did not receive my food until 12:50 PM. Another ongoing issue is the inconsistency with double protein orders. I have ordered often enough to notice that this is a recurring problem and something that clearly needs attention. I am sharing this mainly to bring awareness to others. If you are ordering online for pickup, be prepared for a gamble. If possible, just order when you arrive. For delivery orders, the drivers are not at fault. They are dealing with the same issue, where orders do not seem to be addressed until someone asks for an update.
