What a wonderful place. Very nice accommodating staff. My USB charging cable broke and they gave me another one. The units was clean and fully stocked. All supplies such as utensils, cookware, towels were in excellent condition. Lots of towels were provided. Washer and dryer inside unit. Three level unit with master bedroom on 3rd floor, living room and kitchen on ground level, which is second level on other side of unit. Second bedroom on bottom floor. All floors have a balcony and there is an exit to the garden from the bottom bedroom. The garden has a few small barbecue pits for units to use and picnic tables. Each bedroom has a full bath. The living room has a half bath. All rooms are spacious. The master has skylights and beautiful high ceilings. King size bed in master bedroom a bit too firm for me. Pillows were great. The second bedroom had 2 full size beds. This is a great place to come and relax while taking in the views. Most buildings will have a view but the one we we in had a direct unobstructed view #33. Weather was great during July. Slept with windows open. Lots of flowers, birds and bees. They had a few things planned like a continental breakfast to meet other guests. The views from the club house are wonderful. Continental breakfast included a variety of bagels, spreads, muffins, fruit and coffee. Nothing spectacular but sufficient . Regular coffee ran out by the time I got there so I had decaf. There is an indoor pool but I didn't use it. The scent of chlorine was a bit strong. Free WiFi was a life saver since I ran out of data on my tmobil cell....but that's another review. Free parking right in front of unit. read more

We stayed here last week though a deal from my brother's timeshare. The units are clean and spacious. We had three floors. The top floor was the master suite with a king-sized bed and full bath. There was a small balcony as well as a window so you could look out towards the water in the distance. The second floor is the main living floor. There is a half bath, full kitchen, dining table and couch with two chairs, end table and coffee table as well as a TV. The sofa is a sleeper sofa. There is also a balcony. The bottom floor has two twin beds and a full bath. There is a sliding door that will bring you outside. There is also a small washer/dryer combo, which is nice because when we had downtime I could do a load of laundry and not come home with a week's worth of laundry. There is no housekeeping service unless you arrange it for a fee. If you need more clean towels, you have to wash some. Since there were plenty of towels provided for just two people, I had no problems. I think the fee to add housekeeping is reasonable. The clubhouse has an indoor pool and exercise area. You can also rent movies. There is one day during the week that they offer a continental breakfast and another that they have a wine and cheese welcome event. We also stayed here last year, so I would definitely recommend it. read more

We loved our huge 3-story condo with our own private jacuzzi on the first floor, private decks on each floor and a handy folder full of information about the resort and the area. We also appreciated the book exchange and being able to print our boarding passes in the clubhouse for the flight home. Our unit was equipped with a corkscrew and lobster crackers, which we put to good use and we liked having plenty of towels. The views from the resort were great and its location on the quiet side of the island was ideal for us. And the ladies in the front office were so friendly and helpful. On the other hand, we were provided with only one morning's worth of coffee and supplies. We had to go out and buy (at an exorbitant price) a package of coffee for the rest of our week-long stay. Thankfully, the wonderful ladies at the office gave us extra filters and sugar. We would have liked more hangers, but were pleased with the large dresser. The towels, though plentiful, had been washed so many times that they were no longer soft. The toilet paper was so thin that there was barely enough for just the two of us (even though each of the three bathrooms had two rolls), and one roll didn't even have perforations! Finally, we were not pleased to be told to empty our trash into the dumpster, strip our own beds, and pile all the linens in the front hall before checkout. We have stayed at Harbor Ridge a number of times. We've travelled the world and rate it among the best timeshare resorts that we've ever stayed in. Harbor Ridge is so professionally managed, friendly staff, spotless, beautifully appointed units. Its in an incredibly beautiful location in Acadia National Park with great outdoor activities all around. But its also close to shopping and good restaurants. Thank-you to the management of Harbor Ridge for maintaining this beautiful retreat. Its a real sanctuary for us that we return to over and over to rest and recharge. read more
