When I asked about what could go wrong at the preop, leakage was his answer. When I asked how often this happens, he replied that he's done over 3,000 and never had it happen. Hard to believe I was his first of over 3,000. The other vertebrae hasn't caused any problem since the surgery. Rather than seeing the doctor for my post op he sent me to his assistant. I never saw him after surgery or since.

(My new neurosurgeon had presented my case to a team of his cohorts, and they came to this conclusion together.) Keem's office consistently fails to provide pre-op and intra-operative photos to members of my care team who request them; multiple neurosurgeons have tried. No one except Keem's office has seen them. Context is included in my two reviews below this one. Keem allowed me to feel like it was hopeless, that the disc would "continue" slipping indefinitely due to the default of my own body. Keem looked me in the eyes and lied to my face the two times he had the courage to show his face to me after his failed surgery (and one of these was a presumably forced meeting facilitated by the Polyclinic's risk management department). He's unscrupulous, which a surgeon should never be. I wouldn't trust him with a houseplant. I've had innumerable complications as a result of this failed surgery. My career as a dancer is over. I've chipped multiple teeth from my post-op convulsions. I've gotten a diagnosis of PTSD. I'm going to be different for the rest of my life. I'm moving forward with a lawsuit.

Not one question about how the patient is doing or whether the injection is painful.
