Very friendly folks, but the items I got back didn't smell clean. Just not sure I would try them again.

I just picked up a goose down pillow that I had bought online and it smelled horrible when I got it. I brought it to this cleaners and asked the owner if he could get the smell out of it. He said that he would atomize it because he didn't want the threat of feathers ruining his cleaning machine and I agreed. The attendant is who I picked my pillow up from today. The pillow still has a pungent and unusable smell to it but I gave him the $20 anyway. That wasn't a good value to me because $20 seem like a lot for a queen size pillow. But he seemed to have knowledge as the business has been open for 56 years. It's a middle upscale neighborhood strip mall that is very close to the beach so there are plenty of small shops and other shopping that can be had. But because the owner didn't admit that it may not work I believe he should have been more honest about the potential results. read more

Nice old lady takes your clothes, so I'd rather not be too harsh. However the prices are astronomical. Dry cleaning a dress was $18, and a pair of dress pants $8. I don't expect I'll return. read more

total rip off!!! she doesn't have a price menu for customers to know the item charges. she tells you one price when dropping off . I went to pick it up it's double. I was shocked at the price!!! so I went to 3 other cleaners to compare prices. They were all half of the amount she charges. read more

Decide to try this cleaner since it's closer to my house and I like to support my local neighborhood businesses. Bad decision. Dropped off a gown, several dresses, a suit, sweater and two pair of pants. One of the pants had several light stains that I had tried to remove myself with no luck. They were clean when I dropped them off but I was hoping they could get the stains out. I asked the lady who checked me in if she thought they would come out and she said she would try and see how it goes. When I picked up my items today I noticed the pants looked exactly the same as when I dropped them off. The owner Bill told me dry cleaning is a "best effort" and he can't guarantee stains will be removed. I asked if he would please remove the pants from the bill since they were given back in the same condition they were brought in. He refused saying "of course you're going to be charged". Unfortunately, I can not support a business that is this unconcerned with customer service and satisfaction. read more

I gave this place multiple chances and they proved again and again that that they're not even cleaning the clothes at all! They just iron the clothes and don't even clean them. I had to come back three times for a re do that never got cleaned. First they said it was clean and some mixer came all the way out and when I looked at the pants it looked exactly the same as when I brought them in. Then they said it was tough to remove and I reached down and easily wiped the residue right off with my finger, it came right off! Then I left it again to be recleaned and when I came back it looked exactly the same. They said it came out good and when I opened the pants the same stain had not improved even slightly, then I reached down again and easily wiped it right off again. I could've done a better job with a wet sponge. When you can wipe something right off with your hand that takes minimal effort and they keep saying they cleaned it, but it's still dirty they're clearly not cleaning the clothes when I can wipe it right off. I wasted three trips and paid them to give me back my pants back exactly the same as when I brought them in. Will not ever go back! Next time try actually cleaning the clothes! read more

This family owned business is our go-to dry cleaner. Their prices are higher, but they do everything on site - nothing gets sent out. I've dropped things off in the morning to get them back that same afternoon, which is hard to find these days. There was a few times I've picked things up not pressed properly, but they always do their best to get impossible stains out (and almost always succeed) and I love their quick turn-around time. I came in from China with a suit that did needed pressing quickly so I could make my nephew's wedding on time. The proprietor was a very honest and hard working person in her 80's and she told me she can do it no problem. I was trilled that someone could help me out of this need. She is very patriotic and for of you veteran's out there like me, you need to go here and support this establishment. If ever I am in town again, I would come back anytime. My first time at a dry cleaners and it was a pleasant experience. I waited no more than 20 mins for 5 items to get pressed for a wedding that same day. The owner is very hands on and values his customers. As far as the pricing goes, it's phenomenal. I will be returning there in the future. I will recommend anybody to harbor village.
