    Hole #12 Par 3 - IG: @nelson_eats
    Nelson L.

This course is tough, but fair. I've played here several times thanks to my Oki membership and I've yet to conquer this beast. The course seems longer than 6200 yards from the white tees. Each hole is different, so there's a different challenge each time. Hole 11 is their signature hole, so make sure to take a picture there. It's about 180 yards before a huge drop off to the green. I played here recently in the winter. Even though it hadn't rained for 4 days, there were still some muddy spots along the fairway, but not too bad. When the ball doesn't travel through the thick winter air, it makes it harder, especially for me. When I normally need a mid to short iron to the green, the winter will force me to hit a hybrid or even my 5 wood. Even though the fairway wasn't optimal, the greens were nice for the winter. It was definitely nice putting on it. Kudos to the greenskeepers for their maintenance. If I didn't have an Oki card, I probably wouldn't play here and go to Walter Hall instead, since it's cheaper. At $90 per round, it's steep, but luckily, an Oki card will make it financially better. I'll definitely be back, because I still need to shoot a good round here.

Half my large bucket was VERY OLD range balls with almost no dimples left

VERY VERY OLD driving range balls! They charge $12 for a large bucket and about half of my bucket were severely worn range balls with barely any dimples on it! I spoke to the General Manager Shawn after my range session and ask him to please take these old range balls out of circulation. His response was the course spent $13k on new range balls this year and members keep stealing them. He also said they are having difficulty purchasing more range balls due to supply chain issues. My response to his statements was to take the bad balls out of circulation and pick the range more often so customers don't get stuck with crappy range balls that cost them $12! Take a look at the pictures and you be the judge. Just awful

The appetizer and dessert table didn't even have tongs for the charcuterie board or to get dessert which didn't make sense. It just seemed like a haphazard set up. The wait staff was in such a hurry to take our plates we couldn't even finish eating yet we couldn't find anyone to fill our water glasses, and the holiday decor at the party was very lacking and not as festive as past years. The open bar was a great concept but the bartender was easily overwhelmed and the quality of the drinks was very poor. While we still had a few hours left of the party the staff started cleaning everything up and turning on the lights at 8:30 as if they were rushing us to leave the Christmas party which made for a weird and awkward experience. It definitely did not live up to the hype of previous years.

I spent a day by the pool as the guest of a member and observed the well-mannered pool staff letting the kids play while keeping a watchful eye for their safety. Lunch was nothing special but the service was par for a country club. This is the good life and being poolside on a sunny afternoon reinforced the notion that all was right with the world. This place is an oasis from the middle-class aura of Everett and if should you ever get an invite from a member, I kindly suggest you make it Priority One.

Little did I know how much of a hassle it is to get to this place. My grandson said it would be a day trip, it was not. He lied. It was some sort of college reunion where they played alcohol games. I only played the beer pong, but Chris was was playing Mario kart. We ended up staying two nights. I didn't bring my nightgown, but my grandson packed for me. Such a sweetie pie. Anyways, The only reason for this places existence is to firmly establish the bottom of a barrel. But when you're stuck on an island, and there is only one golf course, you don't have many options. WE HAVE TO GO BACK. (lost). When you first drive up and pull into the "parking lot" you have no idea you're at a golf course. Imagine my surprise when I was told I was going to golf, and we have to park next to what's called a "driving range". Didn't see too many cars "driving" the range. This place uses the honor system where you have to pay $10 a golfer. Luckily for all 6 of us, none of us had cash. So we didn't have to pay. +1 thrift point as RAYMOND SAYs. Call me old fashioned, but I lived during the Cold War. Don't challenge me. Most golf places don't have any clubs. This places had at least 100 abandoned golf clubs. Danny, my "matest with the greatest" picked up one of these bags. However, somewhere between the 2nd and 9th hole he got dunk, and wandered off. We found him passed out on the fairway of the 9th hole. Nice boy. This place DOES NOT have golf carts. So we had to drive our truck ON THE COURSE to get from hole to hole. Of course, I drive the jeep. Just like Johnny Tsunami in the series pilot. Grandkids LOVED that shower. Probably my least favorite grandson, Chris made a good point. If there is no are no beer carts driving around then you are free to shot gun beers at every green. Grandma hadn't shotgun beers in over 2 weeks, but live like a Roman horse with an arrow in your buttocks. No bathrooms on course. It was embarrassing, but I had to pop a squat behind a rose bush on the 6th hole. I though I was hidden but I was not. I showed off my 80 year old booty to some (what I assume was ) a peeing Tom. Eric was very mad at everybody. Garrett (G$) says Eric was born mad at the world because he was born with two right feet. But as soon as he whacked a 220 yard dinger dinger off a tree onto the green (completely bypassing the fairway) it more than made up for his bad feet. Greens were in decent shape. Buckets next to where you begin driving were overflowing with garbage. Let's get this garbage off this course and into the landfills. Same can be said for those dumpers in Washington. Ok time for breakfast raisin brain By grandma bye Bye

If you normally shoot in the 90's like me on a regular course, expect to shoot in the 80's. Also, there's no Par 5 holes, but an abundant of Par 3's. I think it's a good course for beginners, but you it can be recovering. Even though it's a short course, there are a lot of trees you can make contact with, so if you don't hit them straight, beware. Last weekend, my friends played a round of Winter golf here. On the positive side, the greens were nice for the winter. The golf ball rolled well and thank goodness there weren't any temporary greens because their temporary greens are not adequate. However, this course does not drain well at all. Even on a clear day with no rain the past 2 days, the fairways on multiple holes, especially on the back 9, were so soggy and wet. It muddied up my shoes, so much I needed to do a deep cleaning the next day. You definitely had to club up or two to hit out of the mud, in the fairway. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend playing the front 9 of this course just to get your feet wet. The price is slightly cheaper than your other municipal courses, but you get what you paid for. I've heard horror stories of the pro shop overcharging you, so I would check your bank statement the next couple days afterwards. Overall, if you and your friends are getting into golf or you have kids that want to play, I'd check out Lynnwood. If you're an avid golfer, I'd skip this one.

I'm new to the area and am pleased to find this range, much better than where I came from. The prices are very reasonable, in fact much lower than a Top Tracer range I used to go to: $21 for an extra large bucket, $17 for large. Top Tracer is a wonderful technology: I usually start by practicing with different clubs, (it records ball flight data for different clubs) and then I play one of the many virtual golf courses. For a driving range, the balls are pretty good - I see reviews that are critical of the balls, but if you want better balls you'll pay more. Mats are in good shape, rubber tees of all heights available in all bays. There are lots of bays and I've never had to wait, but I avoid times when I know they'll be busy. The bays are heated, canopied, and clean, the Top Tracer machines work perfectly and are accurately calibrated. The staff is friendly but doesn't say much, no pressure at all. Instruction is available but I haven't taken a lesson; again, they don't say much but no pressure either. I haven't tried the putting/chipping area, which looked to be in rough shape from winter but improving as things dry out. The indoor lounge area is comfortable and golf is always on the TV.

I was hitting in Bay 1 when I pulled out my driver and, on my first swing, struck the wall behind me during my follow-through, resulting in significant damage to my club. Unfortunately, the range took no responsibility for the positioning of the bay and instead advised me that I should have been more cautious. What concerns me is that the wall I struck clearly shows evidence of being hit by other golfers in the past, including multiple holes and dents. This suggests that I was not the first person to encounter this issue. At a minimum, the range could have posted a warning indicating the potential hazard or positioned the hitting mat farther away from the building to provide adequate clearance. I acknowledge that I could have been more aware of my surroundings, and I certainly wish I had noticed the proximity of the wall before swinging. I did not expect that using the hitting stall as intended would put my equipment at risk of being damaged. I believe the range should take a closer look at the spacing of its hitting bays and consider appropriate measures to prevent this from happening to other customers.
