This is a par 67 course…read morebecause there are no par 5's, and many of the par 4's are short so there is some lag time as you wait for people to clear the green ahead of you, especially #2. Highly recommend you get an early tee time (i.e. before 8am) or it'll easily be a 5+ hour round. Most of the par 4's have dog legs that you have to get the right distance on to avoid getting stuck behind trees, so use your golf app's GPS or hopefully you're playing with someone familiar with the course. The back nine has nice elevation changes and bunkers to challenge anyone, and the greens all have fair and even rolls. $55 a round feels a little high for par 67, but what isn't expensive nowadays. I've paid more for a lesser maintained course.

Free warm up buckets before the pro arrived, extra balls after she finished, track man set up for right AND left hand golfers, friendly knowledgable staff. I needed a couple of grips put on and it usally is a wait ... maybe a day or so, but becuse my GF was taking lessons, they got them done for me, so they would be ready when her lesson was done. When I checked out, the young man at the register was fast and friendly, while a very helpful man (in zebra pants) unboxed and prepared my new clubs for me. The store was very clean and organized and had my kind of music playing. :) The customer service we received from everyone was wonderful and much appreciated! I'll definitely be back.

When my friends started playing golf a couple years ago, this was the first 18-hole course we…read moreplayed as a group. It's a very short course at 4700 yards and only Par 65 for 18. If you normally shoot in the 90's like me on a regular course, expect to shoot in the 80's. Also, there's no Par 5 holes, but an abundant of Par 3's. I think it's a good course for beginners, but you it can be recovering. Even though it's a short course, there are a lot of trees you can make contact with, so if you don't hit them straight, beware. Last weekend, my friends played a round of Winter golf here. On the positive side, the greens were nice for the winter. The golf ball rolled well and thank goodness there weren't any temporary greens because their temporary greens are not adequate. However, this course does not drain well at all. Even on a clear day with no rain the past 2 days, the fairways on multiple holes, especially on the back 9, were so soggy and wet. It muddied up my shoes, so much I needed to do a deep cleaning the next day. You definitely had to club up or two to hit out of the mud, in the fairway. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend playing the front 9 of this course just to get your feet wet. The price is slightly cheaper than your other municipal courses, but you get what you paid for. I've heard horror stories of the pro shop overcharging you, so I would check your bank statement the next couple days afterwards. Overall, if you and your friends are getting into golf or you have kids that want to play, I'd check out Lynnwood. If you're an avid golfer, I'd skip this one.

They should have a 24/7 shuttle bus that picks you up and drops you off at the first Tee. I wanna say the walk is about 3/4 of a mile long and you'll be exhausted when finally meet the flight of stairs to go pay for your round. Now let's talk about the course. They were in terrible condition. I'm starting to think they don't have a greenskeeper or any landscapers. From the fairway to the greens your surrounded by a smelly slough that sticks to your clothes. and when you reach the greens, your met with sticks, branches, pinecones and unfixed divots. the speed doesn't even matter. just bring your wedges and you'll be able to chip it over all the obstacles in your way. it was truly an awful experience and is the exact reason i stay away from Seattle golf. do yourself a favor and stay away from this course. If i could give it zero stars, i would. happy golfing!

Beginners have a shorter distance to the basket and can concentrate on the technical aspect without throwing hard for a long drive as it is easy to do with an open course such as Lakewood. Experts have fun with the technical aspects of the short course. It's a win - win. Yes, the last nine can be a challenge but that is what makes a course interesting and a good time. The trash in the park sucks, I use the standard of what I take can in, I take out.
