Was seated immediately and started browsing the menu and steak fajitas was tonight's meal choice. Within 10 minutes a sizzling metal plate of steak smoldering in onions & peppers with seasoning to give it that taste sensation I needed was laid upon me. As I savored the moment and took a snapshot for you Yelpers I loaded my tortilla with flesh, veggies , guac , red onion & cheese... My first bite was orgazmic people, and it hit the spot in my belly... I toasted that platter of flesh off in record speed.... Gave a huge belch and paid the lady to resume my gambling. I remember one time I had ordered a hamburger without bacon in it, however she forgot it, and brought the hamburger with bacon in it. I said to her, can you fix it, I remember I said I wanted without bacon. She was surprised and then brought the burger back in a few minutes or five or so, however there still had the taste of it. After driving 3 1/2 hours we were hangry. After a trip to the lavatory, we went to Rise for a bit to eat. I had a cold one. My entree of choice was the meatloaf, with mashed potatoes and gravy. The vegetable of choice was brussel spouts. I hate brussel sprouts but ate them anyway. I was not a fan of the look and taste of the meatloaf. Brussel sproits were A ok. The mashed potatoes had potatoes that were not mashed but they were not hard either. Wifey had mild wings that still had a kick in the them. She wanted all flats so there was an up charge of $2. Attended the 2026 Tampa Bay Sneaker Soirée which was a grand time. The pizza and nun bundt cakes at the after party were delicious. Service was great. We got in late Halloween night and decided to dine here. From the moment we were greeted until the moment we left everyone was professional and polite. It was a lively atmosphere, even though the band was done playing for the night. We were there for the weekend and they seemed to have live entertainment every day when we were there, I'm not sure if they have live entertainment every day. I actually did not expect too much for the food because I thought it was gonna be typical bar food. To my surprise, the food was better than expected. The chicken chunks were made out of thigh meat so it wasn't dry. I really liked the Caesar salad and the shrimp was good too. I'll admit that the drinks were the best part of the meal. We liked the drinks so much, we came back three days in a row to order the same drinks. Other restaurants in the casino have excellent food, but the Hard Rock Cafe has been disappointing the few times we have eaten there. We decide to try again last night for something simple at the bar. We ordered one of the simplest dishes on the menu, a plate of nachos with guacamole. I've eaten nachos all over the country, and I swear this was the worst ever. We asked for some salsa to boost it up, but they do not have any salsas. Not even a bottled Mexican hot sauce. The guacamole was as tasteless as the nachos. They really need to find a chef who can do it right, or take it off the menu. read more

I'm not a huge fan of large chain restaurants, but this was the best option before our concert, and I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our dinner very much. I thought the ambiance was cool and enjoyed watching the music videos as the songs played. Service was a bit slow, but our server was very friendly. I ordered a southwest chicken bowl and thought it was actually quite delicious. I would have liked a bit more of the extra stuff inside of it, but that's personal preference. It is a very nice casino, but I did not like the smoking at all, no offense. Service is really good and staff are nice. They need to make the non smoking section of the casino just as big as the smoking area downstairs to give people more options of play. First of all my biggest mistake was ordering a steak. I asked the server if it was going to be fatty and she said no needless to say it was fatty and I asked medium well. I was very well done. The server got the manager came over looked at my steak and said what you'd like me to fix you another one, we had to go to a show that was starting there was no time to wait for another steak. I said no as I had a prior commitment to go to a show that starting soon. That's when the proper thing would have been, oh I'll just remove that from your bill. My friend had the fajitas which looked really good we asked her what kind of steak it was made from and she said oh it's steak. On vacation at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa and went to this Hard Rock Cafe location twice today. The open kitchen is a cool addition and it was spotless. There is a stage in the back of the restaurant for live entertainment. The place was very busy early evening. The rock n roll theme decor is everywhere. Dropped in to take a break from the casino floor, being I was a little up for the day I decided to hold on to my winning a little longer while grabbing some lunch. There was no wait time and the friendly staff at the hostess station greeted us and immediately found us a table on the top tier in front of the stage - no band playing but the restaurant was rocking and as you'd expect had a high energy atmosphere. Our server met us at the table within minutes and took our drink order while dropping off a few menus, she was back after only a few moments and asked if we'd like a few more minutes to figure things out. We were ready and ordered the Spicy Diablo Burger and Chicken Tenders which both arrived with fries. I definitely loved everything about this venue but found the food very disappointing, the double cheeseburger was ridiculously constructed using what appeared to be two slider size patties stacked on a large bun, after peeling away the excessive amount of bread I basically had a slider with cold fries for about $18 forgetting about the cost I was offened by the quality and portion - the chicken tenders were equally disappointing although the portions were what you'd expect. It was a nice place to take a break although I'd probably just get a refreshment in the future and opt out of eating here. We were at the casino on a Saturday afternoon and were all craving onion rings and burgers... so had to stop in. They didn't take reservations but our wait, after putting our names in, was just long enough for my friend to do well at a nearby blackjack table. We were seated "down in front," by the stage-and indeed, they were setting up for a show that evening. Our server was very nice and super chill. It took a little time for him to circle back with things-but it was busy in there... and he took good care of us. Three of us ordered different burgers-and everyone enjoyed they're. I had the original-which came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, really good bacon and one of their amazing onion rings on top. It was cooked "very well done," as I asked and was super filling. The side of fries was well seasoned and the perfect combo of crunchy outside, soft inside. And let me tell you, the bun on that burger was divine. I'd order a 12 pack of those buns to go, just for snacking, if I could!! We also ordered a tower of onion rings as an app. The batter is light, crunchy, slightly buttery. Yeah, I could write a song about those, too. My renegade friend who ordered fajitas seemed to enjoy them-and the portion was generous. She couldn't order dessert, she was so full. Not that I expected a lot from a restaurant inside of a casino, but then a trip to the Hard Rock Cafe was always more about the location than the food. First off, we were seated pretty quickly but in a location far off from the rest of the crowd. Then we had to wait for our server as a group of servers was being entertained by something someone was showing on their phone. After our order was finally taken, we waited for our food. Hubby had ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Both were served on similar buns and hubby and I both agreed they were kinda dry. Fries were just ok. Coleslaw was just ok. The baked beans were way too over-seasoned with cumin which overwhelmed anything else. Hubby said his pulled pork tasted good, but my burger was... just ok. Even the bacon was meh, and I like bacon. Since we were in the area just to check out the casino not sure if we'll come back, but if we do we may try one of the other restaurants in the casino before we'd thinking about coming back. Came here on Thanksgiving Day on the suggestion of my son. We were seated quickly but I then had to flag down somebody to locate our server. We waited a minute so it was not a good start. This was my first time at this casino and because I had not eaten all day we went for the first thing we saw. The decor is what you expect so nothing to make note of since if you have been to one chain restaurant then you probably know what I'm talking about. We ordered the shrimp as an appetizer. I got the Swiss and Mushroom Smash Burger and my son ordered the Messi Burger. The shrimp was okay, mildly spicy. Interestingly, about the shrimp, it served on coleslaw and the coleslaw was quite tasty. Surprisingly it added to the overall dish. Both of the burgers were good but nothing special. Nothing super special. I've been to the casino many many times but I think had only eaten as this cafe once before. My parents were in town and at the casino so I met up with them for a quick bite. We went around 7pm on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. Our wait was about 15 minutes so not terrible. Our server was good, not the most enthusiastic but nothing bad to say about her. As far as the food, most things were good. I had the Messi chicken sandwich and it wasn't the best but the fries were okay, especially with their really good ranch. Lunch at the HRC. I've always liked the Cafe food due to my years traveling for business. No matter where I was in the world, if there was a HRC there, I could count on good familiar food. This time I tried the Southwest Chicken Salad Bowl. Full of mixed greens, black beans, pico and grilled chicken it was tasty. My only complaint was that it was overdressed which is a personal preference thing. I prefer a lighter touch on the dressing. Had to wait for the whole party to arrive before we could be seated, which I get. But then, plot twist: we were seated apart anyway. So, we could've just shown up solo and still had the same outcome. My partner and I came out here to dine prior to our event for the evening. Getting a table was quick and easy, as it wasn't packed. Great, lively atmosphere. There was live music on the stage up ahead, and I did get to enjoy the band as I waited for my food. The food itself is fairly decent, if not overpriced, but hey, you kind of pay for the location. Nevertheless, it was pretty tasty. My partner and I split up the Bangkok shrimp, Buffalo wings, onion rings, and fries, which was actually a great idea and we were able to make this all out into a meal. The shrimp came on a bed of some shredded coleslaw, so I was able to get some veggies in to make it semi-healthy (or so I like to tell myself, hehe). The shrimp itself was delicious, with just the right amount balance of sweet and heat and creamy, lightly tempura, so it wasn't greasy. The onions rings were perfectly breaded and held their own quite well as I dipped them in the sauces that came with it--ranch and some sort of spicy barbecue. The fries were nice and crispy with a touch of seasoning, and were perfect to polish off the rest of the sauces. HRC at the Hard Rock Casino is just "OK." I have been to this particular HRC on a handful of occasions, ranging from "normal" dining hours to the late nights when I am at the casino. However it doesn't seem to matter what time you go they are somehow usually on a wait but you can see multiple tables open, I think they just choose not to fully staff or seat the dining room which does not make sense to me. The 3-star review is for the restaurant as a whole. The food is never bad, but never great. The prices are high, which I expect when inside a hotel / casino. I have no problem paying a premium for premium food. HRC is not premium food. HRC is one step above Applebees and several steps below Kona Grill, Berns, or Council Oak which is also inside the casino. Simply put it is not worth the price, but since a lot of the other restaurants at the casino are very busy or need a reservation this is a better option than a buffett. read more
