Still five star. Been too long since we were here last, A move can do those things. But we are back! In fact the overall experience was so good we have reservations for Easter dinner. Started with a warm welcome, yes they remembered us. Our server Alton? Was perfect, attentive but not at all pushy. He let us pace our dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the beet and crabmeat salad to start. It was just right down to the pickled onions. And I generally do not like onions. Along with handcrafted old fashioneds. Next up, Spanish meatballs. Delicious! Love the sliced sweet almonds in the sauce. Could easily have ordered a second round. Instead saved room for crab stuffed New England sole which by the way was delicious and nicely portioned. Sauce was rich but not too rich. Stay tuned, will post more pics after next visit. The magic is still here and going strong.

Really enjoyed my dinner experience. Even though the restaurant was very busy, it didn't feel very loud or overcrowded. The restaurant staff is very polite and checks on us quite often. The food was amazing.

This was my first time trying Oak and Ola and I had a great dining experience. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and modern - I felt like I was seated inside an updated library. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food came out really fast which was shocking! We sat right by the kitchen and we saw a lot of delicious dishes being plated. The Brussels sprouts were very tasty - had a nice fried exterior with a lemony cream sauce. The whipped feta was good - wish there was a little more feta to dip with the chips. My daughter got the margarita pizza and it was crispy and light. I got the linguine alla vodka with boozy pig sausage. The pasta was cooked perfectly - soft and velvety and absorbed the sauce nicely. My friend got the short rib poutine (seasonal special) and it was really flavorful and rich. I would return to try the other menu items!

Just came back from another experience at Oak and Ola and I have to say, my mind is blown. Everything from our server Destiny, to the Sommelier Matt, to the chef Margaret and Mark, the Manager. We came back because the Manager Andy invited us. The chef, Margaret, came out and introduced herself and said she was going to bring us out some treats. And treats, she did! She brought us a coming-soon menu item: whipped feta. It had pomegranate seeds, hot honey and some other stuff I can't remember, served with pita bread and it was phenomenal. Can't wait to see this on the menu. Next was their roasted octopus. This was delicious but I probably wouldn't order again. It was very flavorful when eaten with the beans and kale. Next up was the crab and beet salad. This was surprisingly delicious. It's a crab salad served on top of marinated beets with vinegar and olive oil as the base. This was touted as a palette cleanser by Destiny and she was so right. It was bright and fresh and definitely left a clean taste in your mouth. The snapper amandine came next and it was everything I had remembered from 2021 and more! The brown butter sauce was so flavorful and the fish was seasoned to perfection. Last, but certainly not least, was the truffle lobster risotto. The truffle was so fragrant I could smell it across the table. I was pretty stuffed at this point so I only had a bite but it was delicious. My BF loved it. He said it was a toss up between the crab salad, amandine and the risotto, so I'd say everything was pretty much a slam dunk. We also had the Tapestry wine by Paso Robles, which was suggested by Matt, the sommelier. It was the perfect accompaniment to what I will say was one of the most memorable meals I've had, if ever. From being seated to leaving, the entire experience was top notch and I would love to make this a regular in our lineup!

This place exquisite. I loved the tapas style plates and they offered larger portions if you didn't want to share. I loved the variety on the menu. The service exceptional. I really enjoyed the decor throughout the restaurant.

Beautiful location, everyone is so lively and active but it's not too loud. 1. The setup and display of the restaurant is awesome look at the pics for more just so cool. 2. Service was pleasant she didn't check in too often and we needed to ask someone else for some help no worries. 3. The food was great tasting but the portions were way off, the amount of sauce and oil on my burger basically ruined the taste. It was a delicious burger that basically drowned and made it hard to eat or even hold. So other than the food being made in juice, the food and atmosphere was very nice, would come back but order something else!

So this place is located in Armature Works (large warehouse food court). With soooo many options, this will be a good choice esp if you are looking for a sit-in restaurant. It's a full-service restaurant and you can enter the restaurant from outside or from inside the food court. It's very cute inside. I came here for lunch. The food was good. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. And the drink "jiggy with it" was sooooo good (has tequila). I would recommend. You can thank me later

We love coming to Armarture Works and this spot on the River Walk! O&O is such a fun vibe - love the cool seating types and the indoor/outdoor patio is warm even on cool nights! The drinks are fun and inventive with some fun mocktail options! The service is attentive and friendly...what more can you ask for?

We hosted a birthday dinner here yesterday (Monday) for one of our dear friends, and it was such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere has a beautiful, relaxing vibe right along the Riverwalk the perfect setting for a special night out. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating to our group of 20+ women, which is no small task. They even printed "Happy Birthday" on the menu, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the night feel extra special. I had the hanger steak and it was absolutely delicious. Several of my friends ordered the chicken and salmon, and everyone raved about their meals. We ended the night sharing the toffee cake for the birthday celebration and it was truly to die for! We often host events for large groups of women, and we were beyond impressed. We will definitely be back!

Ricotta pizza = creamy cloud chaos that made me question carbs forever. Caprese = burrata's steamy love letter to tomatoes, microgreens photobombing like overeager groupies. Truffle fries? 18-minute hostage drama in a skillet. Our server? Awkward, menu-blind, and whispered like he was leaking CIA secrets... He... mumbled..."the pizza...comes with... barely audible... cheese.

My husband and I came to Oak and Ola for a lovely Valentine's Day lunch. The vibes were awesome, we got a seat near the patio so we could enjoy the good views while not getting roasted by the sun. Service was amazing even on a day as busy as valentines. We started off with some cocktails and the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sauce was delicious. Then we shared the lobster roll and the burger as mains, both of which were fresh and tasty. I recommend this spot at Armature Works for a great lunch with nice views.

The service was ok. The hostess were a bit different than what you typically expect but not rude but just different. Like not being able to get a high chair for the baby and the waitress was good about offering to get us one after we created our own but putting 2 chairs together. The food presentation was good but ok as far as taste. Not a wide variety of selection on the menu. The views are great of the area. The AC isn't very strong, coming from the one who is always cold so dress as such. But overall it was cool. Drinks are strong. I got really good feedback on what to order from the waitress.

Give them a call. They've been very helpful. We had gluten, dairy, nut, and shellfish allergies at our table and they got all of us excellent food eith a smile

    Are there gluten free options?

Absolutely. I had some and they were amazing.

Do you have a gluten free menu?

There are gluten free options for sure. GFCF too.

Where on Yelp am i supposed to confirm my reservation?

It'll be under the reservations part in the app itself

Is the outside seating pet friendly?

When we were last at this restaurant, we did not see any pets. There are tons of dogs walking around Armature Works outside, typically, so I would not be surprised, if so. I would give them a call :)

Is this restaurant good for a romantic dinner, anniversary?

Yes. It's a little loud but the ambience is a great setting for a romantic dinner.

    How's parking situation?

It was $5 to park yourself. There is normally plenty of parking - we've never had a problem. And parking is right across from Armature Works where Oak and Ola is located. Valet parking is available. .

    What does menu look like?

    https://www.oakandola.com/eat

    When will you offer brunch?

According to their menu, they do... They open at 11 am every day of the week.

Where is it within armature works? Outside dining?

Southwest corner of building. Both outside and inside dining

What's the price range? The menu doesn't have any prices.

The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to walk around and explore. Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

There was a great amount of creamer, and the fish was so fresh and not that weird fishy smell to it. The greens complemented and balanced out the fattiness of the salmon. We also got their brunch burger, which we ordered at medium rare. It's probably the first place I've ever served me an actual medium rare burger cooked correctly! The egg was nice and runny the bun was seasoned. I could've gone without the croissant bun. I think it got soggy and the flavor didn't quite fit. I was expecting a more buttery, flaky croissant rather I got a more sweet dough croissant. Otherwise, the other components were put together very well. The french fries are also cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Then we ended the meal off with macadamia pancakes. The pancakes themselves were kind of flat but surprisingly very moist and very yummy. I wasn't expecting them to be moist because I have flat they were, but it was very good. The macadamia and the fruit combo on top was delicious. The passionfruit syrup was tangy and sour. My only feedback is to serve it with whipped cream or something to just relieved all the sourness that's on this plate. Otherwise very well executed. We'll definitely be back!

We started out with the croquettes in goan curry, which was a very solid Indian-inspired dish. Next we tried the Yakitori - the chicken was amazingly well cooked. The local collar that was very well reviewed was very tasty, I had never had anything like it before. The meat was very tender, I just wish there was more of it in the dish. Next we tried the charred cabbage, which was solid. However, my favorite dish of the night was the vindaloo lamb pappardelle. The lamb was so silky smooth, the curry was flavorful, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I would go back just for this dish. The service was solid. The overall vibe of the place was also nice, seemed hipster-y and trendy at the same time. Can't wait for my next meal there!

My biggest takeaway is that this restaurant is all about the dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and I really appreciated how they explained each dish when it arrived. Their prix fixe menu with wine pairings seems to be the full experience, but we decided to visit during Happy Hour instead. My biggest disappointment was the Happy Hour menu. I wasn't aware that it mainly consists of snack size portions of their regular dishes. Since the regular portions are already on the smaller side, the reduced portions didn't feel like a great value. For me, the appeal of Happy Hour is getting the same food/drinks at a lower price, so that was not what I expected. We ordered the tuna tartare, ribs, tortellini, and the local collar. The local collar was the standout dish of the meal. The crispy fried fish paired with the refreshing sauce was absolutely delicious and worked perfectly together. Overall, we had a great experience. While the Happy Hour offerings weren't what I expected, the food was excellent, and the service was spectacular. The staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, making the meal feel special from start to finish.

We were seated at a super small table so it made for an uncomfortable situation with so little real estate available. Also the place looks like it's converted from a garage or something with metal walls and roll up doors that made the sound bounce around. The service was nice. We were well taken care of but they seemed to be spread thin because getting refills and getting our check took a bit longer than expected. One ssue was that the menu was very different from what was online via Google. I should have gone to their website I guess, but several items were not available and the filet I was so excited for had a very different set of items. No Brie au gratin potatoes or braised rainbow chard, citrus gremolata and a fig chutney. Now, let me say that my filet was delicious. I loved the sauce and the asparagus was good but for me, the potatoes were super underwhelming. A nice sauce or something would have made them better. They just tasted bland, were really dry and lacked any flavor. My wife expected the lamb or pork chops, they were both not on the menu. She got fish and chips which she really enjoyed, so it was a win. The Asian wings were our appetizer and were delightful too. Now the only real negative for us was the noise. We got there at 5:30 and it was fine. But as more people came in, the sound bounced around so bad that it became almost unbearable for me. I wanted to go so bad because people laughing and talking made my head hurt. Would I go back? Probably not. I didn't enjoy how loud it was. The food was very good though, so perhaps takeout would be more my speed. We had a nice meal and my leftovers were delicious later that evening.
