We visited Rooster & the Till with high expectations, especially since it's featured in the Michelin Guide and has received outstanding reviews. My biggest takeaway is that this restaurant is all about the dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and I really appreciated how they explained each dish when it arrived. Their prix fixe menu with wine pairings seems to be the full experience, but we decided to visit during Happy Hour instead. My biggest disappointment was the Happy Hour menu. I wasn't aware that it mainly consists of snack size portions of their regular dishes. Since the regular portions are already on the smaller side, the reduced portions didn't feel like a great value. For me, the appeal of Happy Hour is getting the same food/drinks at a lower price, so that was not what I expected. We ordered the tuna tartare, ribs, tortellini, and the local collar. The local collar was the standout dish of the meal. The crispy fried fish paired with the refreshing sauce was absolutely delicious and worked perfectly together. Overall, we had a great experience. While the Happy Hour offerings weren't what I expected, the food was excellent, and the service was spectacular. The staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, making the meal feel special from start to finish.

WOW. Can't believe it's taken me 3 years to try this place. Everything about our food and service was 5 stars. The roasted golden beets were the best beets dish I've ever had - served with ricotta, gooseberries and macadamia nut crumble with fresh roasted sourdough (AMAZING). The chicken yakatori was the most moist and flavorful chicken I've had in a long time. Star of the show was probably the roasted cabbage in a phenomenal yellow curry sauce. It took me back to authentic Indian cuisine in London. The short rib gnocchi was outstanding, absolutely no critiques. Pork ribs were fall off the bone. Our waitress and the kitchen did an excellent job spacing out each course. We loved sitting at the kitchen counter to watch them prepare our courses. Huge shoutout to every member of the kitchen and wait staff. Will 1000% be back. One of our new favorite restaurants in Tampa!

Attended one of their brunch dates and I was very satisfied with both the food and service. My friend and I shared the dishes and we left full and happy! The staff is so kind and we sat at the kitchen counter where we could see them cooking the dishes. Loved the vibe of the place and can't wait to try their dinner menu!

Rooster & The Till is, without question, one of the finest dining experiences I've had in years. Every dish that arrived at the table was a masterclass in creativity, balance, and execution. The menu takes familiar ingredients and elevates them with subtle Asian influences, creating flavors that are bold, refined, and utterly unforgettable. Each bite revealed a new layer of complexity, yet nothing ever felt overworked. It was simply divine. What truly sets this restaurant apart is that no two dishes felt remotely alike. Every plate showcased its own unique personality, from the meticulous presentation to the carefully crafted combination of flavors and textures. The attention to detail was evident in every course, making each one feel like a work of art worthy of admiration before the first bite. The open kitchen is an experience in itself. Sitting at the counter allows you to watch the culinary team perform with precision and confidence, turning every plate into a live performance. The chef frequently stepped away from the kitchen to personally deliver many of our dishes, taking the time to explain the inspiration and ingredients behind each creation. That level of hospitality transformed an exceptional meal into a memorable dining experience. The service was equally impressive. Every member of the staff was warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests had an incredible evening. Their enthusiasm perfectly complemented the outstanding cuisine. Rooster & The Till is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why fine dining exists. The combination of extraordinary food, impeccable presentation, genuine hospitality, and an engaging open-kitchen atmosphere makes it truly special. If there is any restaurant that deserves recognition from the Michelin Guide, this is it. Every course demonstrated the craftsmanship, innovation, and consistency worthy of a Michelin star. This isn't just a great meal--it's an unforgettable culinary experience that belongs among the very best.

If you have a group of foodie friends this is the place! We weren't super hungry that night so we didn't order much but these two plates have been delicious and very unique. I had a non alcoholic spritz (sorry don't remember the name) but it was a sweet and fruity spritz that was delicious. For dessert we had the calamansi pie which was fantastic (you must like a bit of citrus ‍ sour flavor) and the jasmine panna cotta which was so light and airy ... would definitely come back to try more of their dishes! Recommend making a reservation if going during the weekend!

Had an incredible brunch this morning at Rooster & the Till. Every time I visit my taste buds are blown away by how they keep crafting such unique, creative creations. Each bite and each sip top the last. We shared several dishes. The Tater Tot Waffle was easily the best bite, it was crispy, rich, and perfectly balanced and the caviar add on is a must. The Avocado Toast and the "Chipped" Bulgogi were both exceptional, and the Adobo Chicken Omelette had a nice kick. Finished off a great meal with an Edition Danish topped with a perfectly balanced lemon curd. The food was paired with a couple fantastic cocktails, the Strawberry Shortcake, that tasted exactly like my favorite spring time dessert and a BFE-Tini. Rooster is always a great experience, the vibes are always great thanks to DJ Mike Blenda and the service is always perfection every time. This is one of my favorite restaurants for a reason. They knew it was my birthday and brought me a birthday card signed by the whole crew and put topped the meal with a candle in my Danish. It was a warm and caring touch to a perfect brunch.

Had a very enjoyable meal here, ordering a la carte to try as many things as possible. Service was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was comfortable and not too loud despite being busy and clearly popular. All the food was very solid - I really enjoyed the calamansi pie and black sesame desserts, so much that I would have got a second order of each if I wasn't so full.

Get ready to have a feast of your senses! Wow this was such an incredible experience. I went here with 2 friends for a night out and they suggested 2 dishes per person if sharing- which was perfect. I highly recommend sharing many different things so you can experience the different flavor profiles, textures and deliciousness!! Our servers are lovely- the only thing that threw me off is they are dressed super casually considering it's a nice restaurant- but they were on top of all of our needs. The food was just amazing- worth every penny- from the beets to the chicken skewer to the cabbage - we also had the mushrooms, lamb parpardelle, and fish- just all so amazing!! Each sauce you want to lick from the bowl- just bristling with flavor and I was so impressed with the varying textures introduced in each dish! The sesame ice cream also a home run! I can't wait to go back- such an incredible experience!

My amazing boyfriend took me here for a surprise dinner and it was our first time here. For the menu its an A La Carte style so they have unique dishes each time you go. The inside is beautiful and moody, with a kitchen in the middle with the chefs whipping up your dishes in front of you. It was such a nice experience in it itself to see the team work together to make your delicious dishes. Our server, Nate, was extremely attentive, and such an amazing server overall. He recommended some dishes and we were beyond wowed. The green garbanzo croquete is a vegan dish i believe and my boyfriend and i were caught by surprise by how amazing the flavors paired together. From the garbanzo, to the coconut curry sauce, the melon and avocado topping it was excellent. The chicken thigh skewer was also another killer appetizer dish. They give u a candied yolk on the side with a seasoned lemon to put over the chicken and the chicken has mushrooms and this verde sauce on top and with every bite we took we were just more and more blown out of our minds. I got the Vindaloo lamb dish which was a great mediterranean style dish. It was also such a great portion I had to take left overs home. My boyfriends plate though, I definitely couldn't let him eat all that goodness by himself because that gnocchi was to die for! so soft and the short rib was like a puree in the dish that just melted in your mouth. Whats not pictured is the drinks which were a sawgrass sour which is an herby take to whiskey sour that had such a crazy flavor profile, id definitely recommend if youre a whiskey sour person. And then they had a Guava pastelito that was also mind blowing from the whipped guava cream cheese foam they add on top. Lastly, my boyfriend had a sweet surprise for me to give me a promise ring and our server was so sweet and gave us champagne for the celebration. Nate also recommended some sister spots the place has all throughout tampa and we were so blown away we thought about going to one of the places recommended called Alter Ego. He went out of his way to call them and let them know we were coming. Nate was the best server we experienced and the whole team was just amazing. 1000/10 we will come back to tampa just for this place and their sister spots!!

I've now been here twice-- on a limb for my birthday dinner which was amazing and for their summer series brunch. My first experience here was super amazing. There was a group of about six or seven of us and we ordered small bites and shared with the table so we were able to try a lot of of the menu items. My favorite was the cobia collar, prawns, charred cabbage... the broth of the cobia collar was so good. My friend even asked to take it home as leftovers, the prawns were fresh and large, and the charred cabbage was everything we needed to get our veggie intake in in the most tastiest way. We started our dinner with caviar bumps and champagne... The caviar bump can't be charged in order loan, but it's even better when you pay for a glass of bubbly and the caviar bump comes with it as a packaged deal . I will say if you are celebrating a birthday or anything they do not provide complementary cake or dessert or anything like that . parking isn't the best... But there is a parking lot at the tile shop that is for rooster and the til customers the menu changes, which is amazing! Staff was kind and every time a plate was served, it was explained. I think it's kinda dark in there, but the vibe is nice. Also certain seats at the bar, you can see the open kitchen!

My husband brought me here to celebrate my birthday and let's say he got all the brownie points. I've had this place on my list for so long and I am disappointed I have come sooner. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The ambiance is inviting I love seeing the kitchen in the middle of the dining room. We tried soooooo many things and each item had me speechless. Our waiter Caleb was delighted at my reactions lol. Every dish had such a punch of surprising flavors. They even gave me a birthday card at the end of my meal, I mean what a sweet touch. You can really taste the love and care put into each dish so wonder they are rated Tampa's number 1 restaurant. I cannot wait to come back.

This is an incredibly thoughtful restaurant with not only the food they serve, but the service, speed, and order of food, the ambiance and the open kitchen-concept, and the sounds and smells that you experience while dining in. I knew this place was Michelin recognized, so it's been on my want-to-go list for a while. Sam was our server and she was fantastic! We sat at the kitchen bar seats and immediately got to see and converse with the cooks as they were preparing the food. Every single dish I saw get made smelled SO good and even had me with some remorse I didn't order that. (Especially the 16oz Za'atar short rib. I will be back for this.) The food that we did get was all fantastic. They even gave us a dish (the seafood tartar) in between our prix fixe from course 1 and 2 because the chef was honest and said the soft shell crab was delayed. I was extremely impressed by their attention to detailed in our pacing and continuous resetting of the table and silverware. My favorite from the prix fixe menu were the wagyu hanger and the banana guava dessert. Just incredible flavors and ingredients they choose to use. I would absolutely come back. This place is expensive, but it won't break the bank considering the quality of food and service you are receiving. It's truly a treat.

We've been wanting to go to Rooster & the Till for two years and finally got around to it this week. WOW. This meal blew me away!!! From the beginning, the restaurant was upscale and modern. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's bar because you can see how they prepare each item. There is so much artistry behind their dishes! We decided to order à la carte and every single dish was a hit. Tortellini di pesce: Incredible dish!! Delicious grouper filling, perfectly cooked pasta, amazing fennel slaw topping. Roasted maitake: I would become a vegetarian if I could eat this dish everyday. Insanely delicious spices, refreshing compressed green apple slices. Roasted golden beets: I never thought that beets, ricotta, and sourdough could be such a delicious combo. It was almost a dessert (in the best way). Hamachi crudo: Once again, who thought that hamachi and strawberries could be the perfect pairing. The balsamic flavor with the mint and pink peppercorn toppings was incredible!! Cobia collar: The fish version of fried chicken. So crispy, flavorful, delicious. I loved the spice from the thai chilis with the freshness of the cilantro and the vinegary sauce. Vindaloo Pappardelle: The dish we ended with and it was certainly a showstopper. The lamb neck was braised to perfection, the pappardelle were clearly fresh, and the pistachio pistou was so flavorful. We also made room for dessert (I don't know how!! Portions are actually decent) and got the dessert from the prix fixe menu, the banana and guava ras el hanout. The spiced banana was delicious with the refreshing guava lime granita topping. The candied phyllo was superb. I loved how the dessert was really gratifying without being overly sweet. I cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. Every single employee here is genuinely SO nice. Every single dish is PHENOMENAL. I just ate here and I already can't wait to come back.

We started with the Million Dollar Deviled Eggs, topped with crispy oysters, bacon jam and caviar. They were creative and packed with flavor. The caviar came through a little stronger than we would have preferred, but everything worked surprisingly well together. Bill put them around 3.5-4 out of 5, while Deb gave them a 3. The wine was one of the best parts of the meal. I had the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir and loved it--fruity with a peppery edge in a really good way. Easy 4.5/5. Deb went with the Drylands Sauvignon Blanc and gave it a solid 4/5. Both wines paired nicely with the deviled eggs. For lunch, we tried the blackened grouper sandwich. The fish and smoky Old Bay rémoulade were very flavorful, and the sandwich itself earned a 4/5 for taste. The problem was the $34 price tag. It simply felt too small for that price, so we'd put the value closer to a 3. Dessert turned things around again. The mango sorbetto was cold, bright and refreshing, and the accompanying sugar cookies added a surprisingly nice contrast. At $7, it felt like a much better value. 4/5. Overall, Oak & Ola delivered some very good flavors and an excellent wine experience. We'd return, but we'd probably be a little more selective about the higher-priced entrées.

There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

I was only able to get one since it was so strong. They are just too strong for me but very delicious. The hubs likes all of the drinks here he's tried them all. I ordered the espresso reposado martini, and I explained it to the server that I didn't want it sweet and he had a smarta$$ remark. I never saw him again after that drink hopefully, I never get that server again. He was ridiculous. The remainder of the service is absolutely incredible. Everyone is super sweet that we ordered food & rest of our drinks from. They must really enjoy their job. They're just a lovely bunch there. Know the menu extensively well and can recommend anything that you're craving for. Except for the first guy that we ordered our drinks from I would avoid that person. He was weird.

Even the pickiest beer drinker can find something here. All the food here is solid. This time I decided to get a custom made pizza. Despite being pre-game busy, my server was happy to oblige. Ordered a sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza. It was very good. Not just, "good for any restaurant", but "good as a high end pizzeria" good. Be prepared if you come during a pre-game. Lots of activity, lots of people, longer wait times. So come early, or after the game and enjoy pizza and your favorite beer! On a side note, I've heard a rumor that a Yard House is coming to Wesley Chapel in the future. Can't wait.

It's kinda like a sports bar, which is the best way I can describe it but it's not overkill. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a bar inside and out. We had our pups with us and fyi they are very dog friendly. We both decided on a breakfast burger while I ordered onion strings and my wife had fries with hers. I had some delicious sweet tea and my wife had soda water with limes. The had chicken bowls for the pups that came with a lot of chicken. The service was beyond amazing, our server was always there when we needed her and she check on us a lot but not overkill. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday but although it was fairly busy it was loud. The manager came over and talked to us for a few minutes and he was very pleasant. I don't remember his name or our servers name but the entire staff seemed happy to be there. This business is near the stadium surrounded by a lot of businesses, so use your gps to locate it. I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I strongly recommend it.

Actually pretty god food! I'd say elevated bar food. The service was awesome- very friendly, fast, and our server answered all of our questions. We tried a few of their beers- not bad, but not our favorite. Portions are large and relatively inexpensive for what you get. Cool ambiance- love the Rosie the riveter images and style throughout!
