When we pay for table one and our TICKETS say seats 3-6... & there are 6 seats on the couch, we anticipate that we're getting 4 seats together- seats 3-6, like the seating policy says. We knew which seats we were reserving when making our reservation. The venue accommodated two women who wanted to sit in the middle of the 6 person couch, and intended to split our party. Imagine if our party of 4 sat in the middle and split their party of 2. Same difference. Management was apologetic but moved us to table 5. My issue is these are not the front row seats that we paid for and reserved & the venue was not first come first serve. The owner's wife refused to honor our reserved seats and made accommodations for the two women who sat in the middle of a 6 person couch. It would be one thing if our tickets didn't have a seat number.... We've been to this venue at least 6x before coming to Ikons of Rock for the first time. I couldn't even enjoy the show because the lack of hospitality really killed the vibe for me. read more

To my surprised the kids loved it here, they said best sliders they ever had & they loved the Mac & Cheese which comes with grill chicken on top, portions were good. Over all the burgers here are very good, I got the Messi Burger it was awesomeness in my mouth! Restaurant and Concert [Las Vegas NV] We arrived at the Hard Rock a little early so we can get something to eat at the restaurant (2nd floor) prior to the concert. We ordered just an appetizer, the Pepperoni Flatbread. We had 30 mins before doors opened (we wanted to get in line for good seats at the bar section). Our server was aware and got our food out super fast. The pizza was delicious. He also applied a 20% Hard Rock Cafe discount on our food (used on day of show only). We attended the Raiding the Rock Vault concert located on the 3rd floor. This wasn't our first time watching them perform although these are new performers from the rotating line up from when we saw twice earlier in 2019 when the Hard Rock Cafe was still located on a smaller venue off Strip. Rock & Roll is not my first love of music genre but these musicians performed some amazing rendition of great classic rock & roll songs and every song pulled from 'the Vault' sounded great! Bought tickets to see comedian Sarah Hester Ross. Our seats were really nice. All open seating at high top tables. After dinner at cafe we came to 3rd floor venue. Very beautiful and well laid out. There's even a bathroom attendant, so have a couple bucks to wash your hands and grab a mint. Sarah was super funny and highly talented on the piano, her voice is amazing. Crowd was a bit quiet for her comedy, but my group all got her humor. So fun! Love the venue and her performance Tickets were $25 which I purchased through her website on Instagram. She's hilarious! We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, with its large bar, clean interior, and view of the strip from the second floor. Loved our waitress. The food was okay. We were talking about how the two pieces of chicken on the Messi chicken sandwich were each pieces of 2mm thin chicken with 2mm of breading on each side. Again not bad, but not a lot of chicken. After our meal the manager(?) was coming around to each table and *asked us* for feedback. We said we were happy about everything but the chicken on the sandwich was a bit thin. He looked at us and (paraphrasing here) essentially said "wow. Nobody has ever complained about that sandwich before. Do Not Go Here. Worst experience I've had with a server, I have a restaurant back home in MN and totally understand tough days but this server has no business dealing with customers. She got an attitude with me because I asked if they had a smaller steak for my kid. She said no but there's plenty of other places around you can go instead. They denied access to use the elevator for people with disability. Made you go down 3 stories and escalator wasn't working. The employee was very ignorant and said only can use it if you had an actual wheelchair. Many disabled that don't need wheelchairs. Against ADA rules to deny access but she didn't care. If you have any issues with stairs may be in your interest to not go. Bathrooms were super dirty and not kept up during the event either. We arrived as they were changing over to lunch. We had a 10 minute wait. That was not a problem. We ordered our drinks, and decided what to eat. Food was good. Service was not. We did not get extra napkins, which were needed for the burger and pulled pork. We were not asked during our meal if everything was OK. This is the reason I give two Yesterday we attended the concert of Óscar de León, the tickets said that the doors opened at 9:00 p.m., so we arrived on time and we were inside the store, in a short time they asked us to make the line outside and that the that had arrived before they were going to go first. After waiting an hour in the row of the street at last they began to let the people pass but they did not know who had arrived first because there were two rows. The security people and the organizers of the event commented in the entry that there had been tickets. They looked quite stressed and badly organized. When they let us pass, we obviously made a second row to check our ticket and security there was almost an hour more. Which incidentally the scanners didn't worked for electronic tickets. Finally we entered and paid for a table with a bottle which cost us almost 400 dollars. We sat down and after a wait of 4 hours the artist arrived and the concert began until there everything was fine. Ten minutes after the concert started, 3 rather rude and ill-mannered security people came to tell us that we had to get up from the table and leave the place. We asked what was happening? They told us that we had to buy a bottle, we explained that after 4 hours the bottle had already been consumed and nobody else had offered us anything, so the rest of the night we compared the drinks at the bar. "The table was located next to an emergency exit, which blocked the stairs to leave" Returning to the point, they asked us to leave the table and leave the place because according to this someone had thrown a drink to a waitress who was certainly the first time all night we saw her. All of us were quite quiet all night because we are decent and highly educated people and we did not do anything, we know how to behave in this kind of events because we do not like to have a bad time. We asked to speak with the manager so they could show us the security video so they could prove to us that we were the ones throwing something, obviously that did not happen because they had made a mistake, while they had already removed half of our friends from the place and the rest when They saw that they made a mistake they let us stay. So after spending 400 dls plus 55 of each ticket plus what we consumed at the bar after waiting 4 hours for the concert we ended up having a hard time.   It was the first time we attended an event in this Venue, usually Hard Rock has a very good reputation and service or at least that has been my experience in different countries of the world and at the Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I hope that with this it helps to improve their services and to train their staff better for this kind of events to avoid a bad moments to the clients. read more

This review is mainly for the event company that put on a show here: RVLTN. Bought vip tickets for a show (Datsik, virtual riot, and Crizzly) was told vip got us expedited entry and a special vip section. In reality, vip got us an extra wristband. That is it. No vip entry line, no vip section. Nothing. We literally spent an extra $25 on a extra wristband. Also they oversold the venue. Once the show was well underway it was very hard to move around to get to the bathrooms or outside, or to the bar, or to water stations. And the show itself was...odd. In between the dj's we paid to see they had a placeholder dj spin some music without any lazers and barely any lights... The place did have somewhat of an authentic warehouse rave vibe going for it, which was its one selling point. No dress code, all flow toys allowed, and security was thorough at the entry point but once you were in they turned the other way to all sorts of misbehaving. People were letting loose and having a blast. The workers at the hardrock were not very well briefed on the show. Every question we asked got us either the run around, and "I don't know" or an attitude. I haven't given up on events at the hard rock cafe yet, b cauze its got major potential. However I'll probably never go to a RVLTN event again. read more

This was our first time checking out the third floor of the Hard Rock Cafe where they have the stage for live music and comedy. I didn't even know this existed until this show.The place itself is nice. It has nice decor, is clean and pretty spacious. The bar staff are nice. The problem I had, was that the bar up there doesn't serve any of their specialty drinks. They have a few beers on tap, which my boyfriend tried and wasn't even cold, just cool so he didn't even want to drink it and some basic bottles of alcohol and a couple wines. We had to go downstairs to the cafe's bar to order the drinks we wanted and bring them back upstairs. We came here to see a comedy show that was raising money for one of the animal rescues out here. Great idea, but I was disappointed that they weren't giving a percentage of the proceeds from food and drinks, to the rescue. After all, we were only there to help them raise money. Man what a place this has become, the security don't recognize any of the talent the night of the shows. As a performer (on the night of 9/24/2022) it's been extremely difficult to get to the Main event when it was so extremely easy to get to soundcheck. I mean, all I had to do was go around back with no one checking. With the fuss of security not aware of what's happening, lower security not communicating with promoters or the event itself, or just old men with "careers" power tripping on who and can't enter the green room area (mind you I just performed and was there for hours). Been to this venue twice since they changed it to Hard Rock Live. Don't get it confused with the Hard Rock Café over on Paradise Road which is the actual Hotel/Casino. The music venue inside there is called The Joint. As for Hard Rock Live, this place is located on the third floor of the Hard Rock Café building. The first floor has shirts and souvenirs while the second floor is primarily the restaurant. I assume they changed the music venue to Hard Rock Live because people were getting this venue confused with the other one. The two times I have been here I saw the soul/funk group Here Come The Mummies and the 80's pop group Bananarama (don't judge me). The box office is located on the first floor. As soon as you get to the third floor of the venue, you will be greeted by security and then the ticket taker. The venue itself has a nice little stage with an open floor right in front of it. towards the back they sometimes have tables and chairs set up right next to the full bar. To the right of the stage closer to the wall, is the VIP section where you can get bottle service. Since you cant smoke inside and there is no re entry, you smokers can go to the outdoor balcony that is facing the strip. I gotta say there are good views from that point. As for the most important thing in any concert venue is the sound. Their sound system rivals some of the other good music venues I have been to like House of Blues. You can include great lighting in that mix as well. As a bonus, they have free wifi. Reception here fluctuates no matter who your carrier is so I recommend you use the free service. Domain is hrc-public and the password is hardrock. So any music type of setting here should be acoustically awesome. This is a great venue for live music. Aside the fact that it's on the strip and easily accessible they have an amazing spacious venue and clear booming sound system. We had a show there this past week and were pleasantly surprised how well the performances went over. I am speaking from an artist perspective. I don't like dealing with promoters or venues that ask for an insane amount of fees to work with their venues especially in Vegas but seeing as it was a booking I can speak on sound, lighting, and being brought in to perform. It was fun and I hope to do something there again in the near future. read more

This has been the setting for many rock shows that I have attended in Las Vegas. At first, I noticed some truly ludicrous behaviour from Hard Rock Live staff -- probably based on the venue policy that no one was supposed to be doing any "Hard Rock" antics -- but, as of late, they have been a bit more hands off with the practice of throwing people out for dancing. First off, the distinction between Hard Rock Cafe (on the strip) and the upstairs Hard Rock Live, or rather an explanation of it: Sometime in 2013, HRC decided to rebrand, or really name for the very first time the upstairs space. My hypothesis is that they were tired of dumbasses getting all irate about going to the Hard Rock Cafe on Paradise, where the casino is (which is not owned by the HRC chain), when they were actually ticket holders to a gig here. Enter "Hard Rock Live." There is only one so how the fuck can you mistake it for the casino? The restaurant and souvenir shop on first couple if levels, respectfully, still keep the Hard Rock Cafe (on the strip) name. Confusing enough? Well, I am making the major assumption you are already aware of the fact there are two Hard Rock Cafes in Las Vegas (one on Blvd. and one on Paradise)(one being a stand-alone with a music venue and the other being adjacent to a resort with the casino area itself having several venues) Let me make it easier: coming to a show? There are couches right outside of the ticketing threshold, or "doors," and one can sit there and relax, charge your fancy phone, and even listen to entire ticketed concerts without possessing a ticket. (This is a major Pro Tip. Do not abuse it, please.) It is straight ahead if you take the stairway -- like you should -- or to the left if you are getting off the elevators, fatty. There are more couches inside the venue, towards the way back or west part of the space, but a lot more people frequent those and I am, at the date of this review, uncertain if there is an all-important electrical plug. I have never had drinks here, so you are on your own in regards to that. Don't drink and walk. (Very perilous: http://freakonomics.com/2011/12/28/the-perils-of-drunk-walking/.) The restrooms -- at least the gentlemen's (do your own research on the ladies) -- has an attendant, so you are going to need cash money if you are heading in there (unless you are an asshole)(wash your fucking hands, pig). I have heard too many artists perform here to list (and you would not care anyway). A little tidbit: The Killers, practically, performed here in the last couple of years when the drummer, Ronnie Vannucci brought his side project here, and other Killers joined him on stage. This was one of the only venues on the strip -- along with The Pub inside Monte Carlo, which is across the street from HRL -- that allowed Imagine Dragons the forum to perform live when they were coming up (which strangely, is only a year ago). They opened for artists and additionally headlined sparsely attended shows here, including one of their many EP releases. There is no parking except a garage behind the venue that is for the theatre which charges. Best if you park at the Monte Carlo garage or the MGM Grand garage and walk here. Don't confuse this with The Joint music venue at the Hard Rock Hotel! It's an easy mistake to make but this place is different! This is a fantastic, intimate little venue that covers 3 stories on the Vegas strip. The first floor is a classic Hard Rock Cafe shop, the second floor is a Hard Rock Cafe where you can eat to the beat, and the third floor is the Hard Rock Live concert venue. Parking isn't that convenient (park in the Showcase Mall lot and walk over; parking costs $3). I love this venue because while it's small, the room is spacious and you never feel too crowded in. There's a small stage and standing area, followed by an elevated bar with classic stool seating, several large and comfy couches, as well as an outdoor balcony (for smokers) that overlooks the Strip. The bar is huge and as you'd expect, drinks are expensive (think $14 for a small cup of bourbon). The best thing about this venue is that there are televisions EVERYWHERE that have a birds-eye view of the concert. So if you want to step away from the crowd and get a drink, you won't miss the show! I love love LOVE this and in some cases what you see on the televisions is a better view that what you see live. The sound system is great and tickets usually aren't too expensive (i just paid $20 to see GWAR last week). Clean bathrooms with lots of stalls and cool rock and roll memorabilia on the walls. From 7/24/15 I have to start with saying if you come here for the first time it might be confusing because instead of seeing a venue there is a souvenir shop when you walk in on the first floor. There will be a ticket counter to your left, and once you've made your purchase go upstairs to the 3rd floor that is where the Hard Rock Live is located. Once you are upstairs, this place is huge, with a large bar, an area to mosh, crowd surf, or dance (Whatever floats your boat), and the stage of course. There is seating along the sides which is nice if you don't want to be on the crowded dance floor, plus you can see the bands great from there because the seating is elevated. read more

Me and my fiancé saw Oingo Boingo here on Halloween. We first went to the hard rock casino because I wasn't aware that this was the venue we needed to be at. It all worked out and I enjoyed this venue much better than being at the casino. The employees were real nice and the bartender seem like he enjoyed his job. That's not always the case in Las Vegas. We love that it wasn't very crowded. Even the shot girl was pleasant. The band was good. Drink prices were average for the strip. About $20 for 2. What impressed me was that there was couches by the back wall area and they weren't trying to charge people for sitting in them. Vegas tries to charge ridiculous amounts of money for sitting on couches for some reason I at all most every club. I Understand the concept of bottle service but there is literally places that block off their couches even if they don't sell bottle service. So this was nice because we only wanted to sit down a couple of times for only a few minutes and I think this is the way it should be. Very happy! Fun small venue to listen to bands. The decor was typical hard rock vibe with memorabilia on the walls. The stage was a decent size and sound was good. What was a major plus is that this is in the third floor with a large patio to go outside and have a great view of the strip. Bar service was very good Woody knew how to pour a nice drink and he was very attentive. If your hungry you can also get food ordered to the bar as well. Be aware minors are not allowed up here as it's a bar but they are allowed in the main restaurant on the second floor. read more

Located on the top floor of The Hard Rock Café on Las Vegas Boulevard and far more intimate than the larger venues located inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino I was lucky enough experience Crosses and JMSN on Friday March 28th, 2014 at Hard Rock Live. Pairing a small stage and a crowd of perhaps 450 with pitch-perfect acoustics, far less smoke than other concert halls in Vegas, and a great vibe from a crowd clearly present more for the music than the 'scene' Chino's side project and the opening act both put on stellar sets with nearly three hours of music for only $20 - by far the best concert value I've found since relocating to LV. read more

For a place called "Hard Rock Live" this place doesn't seem to know how a rock show works. There is jumping and there is pushing and there is moshing. None of this has malicious intent. It's just people having fun and forgetting their worries. The security here needs to get their act together and stop picking on show goers for dancing to their favorite band. I would give this venue zero stars if it were an option. Also maybe get a barricade that won't fall over when the crowd rushes. One day someone is going to get seriously injured because of it. read more

I'm typically a huge fan of smaller, more intimate music venues and with the Hard Rock Live that's exactly what we're talking about here. A few friends and I visited recently to catch Tremonti and Trivium shred and melt our faces. Located on the third floor of the Hard Rock Cafe, the HRL boasts a smaller stage that stands about 4 feet tall in comparison to the general standing area. The main bar at HRL has a pretty cool concept to it in that you can see/listen through the center of it to watch the band play while ordering drinks from the back. The bartenders I encountered here were cordial, efficient and loved to simply chat it up about tunes. Beers were also affordably priced at about $5 for a 16(?) oz. can of PBR. When choosing where to view the live act on stage, I would recommend standing anywhere in the center of HRL. It seemed as though the music didn't sound quite right when standing on either of the side walls. read more

I just recently had my wedding reception at the Hard Rock Live and had the entire 3rd floor for our 130ish guests. It was AMAZING! Everything from service, food, decorations, the staff was super accommodating and I would definitely recommend the venue for any event. I'll break my review into sections so you can choose what to read, since this will probably be a novel :) Why Hard Rock Live? We started our search for a venue last year in both California and Vegas and was not interested in a banquet room type reception, so I don't remember exactly how I stumbled upon Hard Rock Live as a venue, but we found it and fell in LOVE! The space was HUGE and we were not limited to one area or one section... we had the entire 3rd floor --- the main stage, the bar, the fancy smancy lounge area, the patio, the bathrooms, the green room -- even one of the smaller banquet rooms to store all our things. Our guests were the only ones on that floor and we loved that part! OH AND THE VIEW! What other reception venue offers a view of the Las Vegas strip? Our guests were taking selfies with the amazing, brightly colored strip in the background. An enclosed banquet hall would not be able to offer this ;) Media/Lighting/DJ There are TVs running throughout the whole area and we had our slideshow looping throughout the reception at no extra charge. One of our groomsman couldn't make the wedding, but he had pre-recorded a toast, which they played on the TVs as well. Even the lighting (in any color you want) came with the venue at no extra charge. (All these extra bells and whistles would've costs us extra at some of the California venues we had originally looked at). The DJ we booked through them was amazing and emceed the night for us. He did everything we wanted and kept the party going! Food The food was amazing! We had a tasting back in December and our tummies left the restaurant extremely happy. We went with 3 different entres (nori crusted salmon, slow-cooked beef dish and a carbonara), 3 different salads, 2 sides (garlic asparagus and rosemary roasted potatoes) and 2 desserts (drunken berry and pineapple coconut pannacota)... for the pricing on the package we chose, we definitely got our money's worth and our guests totally raved about the food after the wedding. People went back for seconds, even thirds! Our only critique on the food was our chef at our tasting was not the same chef at the reception (first chef left Hard Rock), so the food was slightly different than what we originally tasted, but still equally delicious. Staff Major MAJOR kudos to all the staff. We worked with many different people and Billy and Sara (both in Sales - Sara took over when Billy left) took GREAT care of us and made sure everything was the way we wanted. They are very, very accommodating and that was the best thing about this venue. We were able to do everything we wanted -- have all the decorations a certain way, tables styled how we wanted.. everything was done exactly as we wanted and that was the best thing ever. We were even able to drop off things and have then stored there about a week before the event, which saved us TONS of headaches trying to bus all our decorations and things all the way from California. The service staff was very attentive and on top of it during the reception and it couldn't have been more perfect. TONY was awesome! He made sure we were taken cared of all night! He made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. He was very attentive to us and managed to always appear with whatever it was we needed, wherever we were throughout the night. They did all the set up, and cleaned up everything afterwards.. nothing was broken and everything was packed up neatly in their boxes. They even let us pick up everything days after the reception when we were ready to depart Vegas, and even treated us to lunch and drinks. Our chef even came out and met with us and cooked up a special dish just for us (since our reception food is not on their normal cafe menu. We are truly happy we went with this venue. Such amazing service from start to finish. We can't wait to plan our next Vegas event here! read more
