But it was no warmer than 60 degrees on the main floor. Maybe colder. I get that it's 110 degrees outside but I'd rather be in that heat for three hours than freezing my freaking ass off. My friends agreed they were chilled to the bone. The cheap folding chairs (I mean... have you seen the ticket prices? REALLY??) added insult to injury.

Instead, she continued responding to me in an assertive and dismissive tone. During the interaction, she was stating the price for the VIP lanes. This was confusing and did not appear to address what I was asking for. I was not attempting to purchase or claim ownership of a VIP lane. I was simply trying to obtain the appropriate wristbands so that I could accompany and assist my client. I understand that staff have policies to follow, but this situation could have been resolved very easily with clear communication and patience. I was simply trying to assist my client, and I felt the way the situation was handled was unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. I don't know if she was having a bad day, I understand there can be rude guests but I never approached her in a rude demeanor.

This time we decided to check out Little Miss Nasty which was an interesting and different show with a mix of burlesque, dance, singing, and erotic performances and acts. The show also had some interesting and entertaining background videos on the stage screens. The music was very heavy and loud, and definitely complimented the show, acts and performances. Definitely, not the show for everyone, but if you do attend, definitely go with an open mind for a unique and erotic experience. We have always had good experiences in this venue with all shows we have seen here.

Worse concert experience ever!!! We were absolutely discriminated against and targeted by the staff, and they also threatened us! We went to see Blake Shelton, my husband, baby boy, and myself over mother's day weekend. We paid over $300 EACH ticket x 3 to be in the FRONT row of our section. Entering the venue was great. Everyone at the entrance was wonderful and very welcoming and loved seeing our 2 year old in his cowboy outfit. I even made a comment to my husband how the staff was so nice and accommodating. ... then we entered our section. The lady treated us like criminals. She must have been a miserable old cat lady. She stopped us and wanted to check our tickets. So I pull it up on my phone and started to show her... and she said in a condescending manner "Do you ACTUALLY HAVE 3 tickets?" and I said "yes, here's 1, 2, 3". From the beginning her interaction towards us was horrible and while she was busy "checking" our tickets... like 10 people had walked in without having their tickets "check" by the old witch. Yes, we bought a FULL priced ticket for our child, we weren't trying to sneak him in. After checking our tickets, she told us we were in the front row, so no food or drinks were on the ledge because there is "expensive electrical equipment below". We said okay. Then we sit down in our seats and settle down... our son didn't want to sit, he wanted to stand and vibe to the music playing preconcert. The rail goes up to his nose, so there was no way he was going to fall over. She comes over and tells us he is not allowed to stand or even touch the ledge/rail multiple times. WTF!! There is literally a sign in front of the entrance that says we encourage you to stand/dance for the concert. Then I go to the side while we are waiting for the show to take some pictures. She comes over and tells me I'm not allowed to stand there for pictures. THERE ARE NO SIGNS SAYING YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURES THERE. I sit back down and say to my husband what's this lady's problem. Our boy sits for a bit but then he wants to stand again. He LOVES music. He stands, she comes over and tells us he's not allowed to stand and "must remain seated in his seat the entire time". We're like he's just standing, he's not doing anything. We don't even have drinks or food. We try to make him sit but he's 2 and there's music playing, he wants to move around! He's not bothering anyone, he's not being noisy, he's literally standing AT HIS seat between the 2 of us. We look around and people are just silent. It's like they're scared the seat nazi will come over and lecture them. We look at the section next to us and there is a guy with HIS FEET ON THE LEDGE. Never once did anyone come talk to him!! But our 2 year old standing, OMG, that's the end of the world. When our toddler stands again, she sends over a higher up the THREATEN us. She must have lied about what happened. The lady came over and THREATEN to move us to the very back row of the section. We flat out said no, we paid for THESE seats. She plays it down and claims that our child is scared of the heights. We said no, he's just standing. We PAID MORE for the front row because we want him to see, and even if he stands, he is NOT blocking anyone. That entire experience RUINED our night. Our concert experience was tainted by old cranky child hating cat ladies that were miserable with their lives. She proceeded to THREATEN us that if he didn't stay seated in his seat, they would have to "do" something about it. We were so in shock we didn't know how to react. At a concert and threatening a 2 year old to stay seated. How sad are their lives that they target a family with a 2 year old. We tried to hold our child down... but it upset him especially when the concert started. He eventually gave up and fell asleep about 30 minutes into the concert. I felt so bad. It was his first ever concert and he wasn't even allowed to have fun!! Blake Shelton was a great performer, but our experience was ruined so badly. I honestly wanted to leave, after all, we paid $1000+ for THREE tickets. We tried to enjoy the concert as best as we could... but we just couldn't. At the end of the show, the old hag came down and for the first time ever, smiled at us and pointed to our sleeping baby. We just thought to ourselves F-you old witch, you only like children when they're sleeping... first you accuse us of not getting him a ticket, then you constantly harass us, and then you threaten us. Would I come back to this venue. NEVER!! NEVER EVER!! Not even if the Backstreet Boys performed here!! I have NEVER been treated so badly, so badly discriminated against, so targeted in my life!! Getting in was easy, we got to our seats and it was very cool to be first row. The ENTIRE staff of this Venue were amazing, they were friendly, helpful and all really enjoyed being there and helping everyone get settled. Gladlys Knight, 81 years old and she put on a solid one hour show. She never sat down which is amazing, she did not move a lot as she is aging but the voice, spot on, her heart, so much appreciation for her fans and so grateful to be able to perform all these years and still get a sold out house. She is truly, a beautiful soul inside and out and so gracious. I would definitely go see her again as she sings like an Angel. Such an amazing woman with class and beauty. Smokey Robinson, I saw him a year ago at a different venue, only this time I was front row. One of Motown's best ambassadors ever. There will never be anyone from Motown who is as amazing, gracious and a true performer as Smokey. He is very personal and up close with his fans and is so grateful for each and every person who supports his and loves his music. This man is 86 years old and has the moves of a 50 year old. I wish I could move like him. A 2 hour show and he did not sit down once. He sang, he danced, he controlled that stage and he interacted with the audience. Age is nothing more than a number to Smokey, because he is AMAZING in every way. I am a HUGE Smokey Robinson fan and if I can see him again, I'm there. You can feel how genuine this man is and how much he loves to perform. He is one of the GREATS from the Motown era and is so loved. He has performed with so many and his Stevie Wonder impression is awesome as Stevie is one of his closet friends and it so cool they have been around for as long as they have. If you get the chance to see either Gladys Knight or Smokey Robinson, don't pass up the chance.
