Cute spot on Main Street, super busy. Good for large groups. Menu had a good variety of food. Had the Thanksgiving sandwich which had turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on toasted white bread, i liked it. A bit messy but thats fine. Service is ok, just too busy in there to have someone able to give you more attention.

Great spot right in the heart of Cooperstown to grab lunch or dinner. We went with our team to compete at Cooperstown Dreamspark and went to the Hall of Fame as a team. While walking around, we came across Hardball Cafe. Parking is limited but luckily we parked in a lot and was walking around most of the day. As expected, service was a little slow to start but again, you need to be patient as it's right in the heart of a busy area. We sat right outside near the sidewalk, so got to people watch while we ate. Some may not be comfortable with that but I actually enjoy it. Lol Ultimately, service was excellent and everyone was very accommodating. To start, we got the pretzel with cheese dipping sauce and spicy mustard. Always a hit wherever we go and Hardball did not disappoint. Pretzel was soft and the dips were very good. For lunch, I got the Bambino Burger. Quality was excellent. Came with "local cheddar", lettuce, tomato, onions and fries on the side. Burger was juicy and cooked to order. If you're in the Cooperstown area or there for one of the big baseball tournaments, this is a solid option to go to.

Son and I were hungry after a long drive into Cooperstown and we saw this place so decided to try it. Once we saw their prices, we decided to just order an appetizer and eat somewhere else. Not only are their prices outrageous, but they have two different prices depending if you use a card or pay cash. I mean wouldn't it be easier to have one price somewhere in the middle? First time I've seen this outside of a gas station. Chicken tenders were good, and my son was "impressed" with the hostesses and waitress, but I told him my ratings are based on the food, not who he thinks is good looking.

Extremely overpriced for below average food and service. The service was slow and the food was OK at best.

Very expensive. Don't get much to eat for the exorbitant prices charged. Definitely would not recommend this place.

There's a live band at least earlier in the evening. We were there on a Wednesday with a prefix menu - farm to table veggie meal with option of adding grilled chicken. On the night we were there they also had a silent auction going to raise funds for a health clinic. Food was very good, great presentation - delicious creamy cucumber soup, mushroom quinoa and peach upside down cake (at $44 and $50 with chicken it was quite reasonable). Fantastic dining environment. Will definitely come here again on our next trip here.

Highly recommend reservations or you might not get a chance to eat here. If you have a wheelchair you must also make a note when reserving online or you might have to wait for a table on the main floor. Other than all the waiting the food was amazing and the presentation was awesome as well. I loved the whole concept of eating in a greenhouse and being surrounded by all the plants. The menu changes all the time and everything is exceptionally fresh. We had the curried hummus appetizer and it was very well seasoned. The burrata was also really good and filling. Hubby had the soba noodles which I normally am not a fan of BUT these ones were so well dressed with a creamy sauce it was packed with flavor and this is the only place I'd eat it at. We had carrot cake for dessert, the oasis smoothie was next level and a vegan ice cream. Honestly haven't been so impressed with a restaurants food in so long and I WILL be a regular customer for sure!

It was extremely slow, at least 20 minutes and we were the only people in line. The employees could be heard arguing with each other at the window. But, they were friendly to us. We did get a chuckle about the sign they had on the ice cream machine. I will say, their sign must serve them as a good reminder because the ice cream machine was operating when we were there. Food came out to us lukewarm. Overall it was an okay experience. Nothing absolutely horrible, but nothing outstanding either.

I went through the drive-through with a friend he wanted a crispy strip meal, which I ordered with Sprite plus a double cheeseburger and a four piece nugget. We drove to the window and I paid. I saw the amount seem kind of low, but we proceeded to the next window. He handed us the bag close the door and then disappeared. We had to pull to the special window since they are cooked to order after he closed the window, I realized he didn't give us the drink and then my friend said there's no fry's. I checked the receipt and there wasn't a meal listed just crispy strips so since no one ever came back to the window, I parked the car and I went inside. I said to the lady at the register we ordered a crispy strip meal, but we only got the strips. She went in the back and out came the manager. I told her exactly the same thing her response was " I should have asked for a medium"! My response was isn't that your job and with that she said thank you have a nice day and walked away.
