Only giving a 1 star because 0 is not available. Went there to get lunch. waited at the counter for 15 minutes, with no one taking my order. The girl working the drive-thru had ONE person she was waiting on. Rather than take my order over the 10 minutes she was waiting for his food to be ready, she just stood there doing nothing. When asked her about helping, me she said someone would be with me shortly. After 15 minutes, I finally left and went to Arby's where I was waited on in the first 15 seconds of arriving. I don't know who the franchise owner is, but the incompetence at this restaurant is rampant. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to even look at us, The floor was disgustingly dirty, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. There was no napkins or any straws at the utensil bar. The Manager on duty gave us dirty looks and got an attitude when she forgot half of our order. The food was disgusting, the chicken was cold and looked uncooked. The forgot two of out drinks, the fries were burnt and extremely over salted. Dont recommend this location horrible service, horrible food, horrible management!! read more

Would give a ZERO. I've reached out to corporate twice. I did get a reply and was told I would be reached out to by management. But there never did. Although this location has recently closed, the new one was established by the same management. - WHAT HAPPENED: I ordered a $5 bag. They had no diet Coke, zero Coke or Coke. I waited 10 minutes for my order. Everything was COLD, icey. Received a chilly hot dog when I asked for a sandwich. Chilly was watery and cold. I never gag, but I almost did on this. At 0830 I waited in the drive through lane for 15-20 minutes at Bedford, VA Hardee's. The line was long and it had moved ONE car. So I parked my vehicle and ran inside. I also waited another 10 minutes, calmly stated to the check-out person that the wait was long inside and outside, made my order of a small coffee and biscuit and gravy, and then waited another 10 minutes. There were 4 people in front of me inside. I couldn't understand why the long wait inside and outside. The biscuit and gravey tasted good when I got it. There were no coffee cup lids and coffee sloshed around the inside of my car as I drove away. Lousy service. read more

Staff is rude. Especially morning crew. Food order has never been correct, and if it's correct it's burnt. Do not recommend.

This place has continued to go downhill. Most food that we get there is barely warm. Also, as of May 2021 they will no longer honor their own (Hardee's) coupons. Some of the employees are pleasant to interact with, but that is the only positive thing I can say about this Hardee's at present. read more

If I could have rated this Hardee's zero stars, I certainly would have. My boyfriend and I were camping along the blue ridge parkway and drove out to Bedford for dinner on a tuesday night. When we arrived we were the only people in line and it took several minutes to get service. As we were waiting, another customer entered the restaurant asking where their drive-through order was, as they had been instructed to park and wait in the parking lot for their food over fifteen minutes prior. The order took at least five more minutes to come out afterwards even though the staff assured this customer that it would be done in seconds. My boyfriend ordered a bacon cheese thickburger and I ordered a little thickburger with nothing on it. When our orders came out, much slower than one would expect at an empty fast-food joint, my burger had everything on it, including cheese, though I had made very clear I wanted it plain. I brought the burger back to the cashier who cared enough to show me the ticket and prove that it wasn't her fault. She made no attempt to apologize, as she had indeed put "plain" on the ticket. The cook also made no apologies. While we waited for the burger to be re-made, the cashier struck up a conversation with her manager about clocking out, which continued long after the burger was ready and sitting on the warming tray waiting to be served. This was about the time my boyfriend discovered that after two bites there was no bacon to be found on his bacon thickburger. My burger finally arrived and I discovered that it was unpalatable. I managed one bite before we left the restaurant. Additionally, my boyfriend had stomach cramps for hours after eating. This was the worst fast-food experience I've ever had. I am a Hardee's fan and live nearby, so when I moved here, I was excited that I was within walking distance of one of my favorite fast food chains. First night I went there, I sat in front of the counter for about 10 minutes before calling back to see if anyone was there. A woman came out with her phone in hand and a scowl on her face. I started to order and she said she'd be right back, at which point I just left. Second time: Breakfast. Different woman, same scowl. I tried to be as friendly as possible, but I guess she was just having a bad day and wanted to make it my problem. Third and final time: Ordered via Drive Thru, chicken tenders were lukewarm and mushy. as were the fries. understand it was busy, but they took my food out of the frier about a minute before they were done and didn't add any salt. Overall: Terrible customer service as demonstrated repeatedly. They desperately need a new staff. I've been to plenty of Hardee's and this one is BY FAR the worst. It's a shame. read more
