I was the assistant manager of this store in early 80s. Hardee's # 3 of statesville. The company would never have allowed this store to be open like this. Obviously poorly maintained, completely outdated, lack of management control. The location potential is HUGE! This place should be snowed under by business because of government workers close by and few competitors close. At 11:44 on a week day and 2 customers in the lobby? It would take a serious effort on modernizing, focus on product quality and a complete new workforce to bring the potential out now. But most of all committed new leadership! I just went there and I usually never have an issue ordering a number seven which is a loaded omelette biscuit and a large iced coffee French vanilla , I get the same thing every time . She hands me a hot large coffee OK one simple mistake... no big deal at all ,That's fine. I ordered a large iced coffee is what I told her then she brings me (a cup of ice) And I said no ma'am I'm saying I want a large iced coffee French vanilla. Proceeds to look at me like I'm crazy. Guy comes over there and he was like you want vanilla in a large iced coffee. Yes OK well they give me a medium.... Nothing but syrup, Then she says all right have a good day, but never handed me my food. I said my food? She handed me a bag of food. Horrible customer service. Guy didnt wven want to take my order brushed it off to the drive thru cause he couldn't be bothered. The restaurant looks filthy so the atmosphere matches the employees customer service. A small little bonus was getting my sandwich and it looked like someone sat on it. This is the closest fast food place to our home and we are glad it's as good as it is. The workers are always polite and helpful, the parking lot is clean, and the food is always fresh. We usually just get breakfast (best breakfast biscuits around) but once in a while, we will get lunch. Their chicken tenders and burgers are great. If you notice, all the bad reviews are 3 or more years older. This Hardee's is always busy, so take that into account when you read those old reviews. We personally have never had a problem here. read more

Made a online order. When I picked it up, they gave me a bag with my burgers and fries with drinks. However, they didn't have the chicken stripe I ordered made. I thought they had put them in with the burgers. When I got home(driving over ice coated roads) I put the bag and drinks down. My wife noticed the chicken wasn't there. I had to make a second trip to get them. This has happened to me before. They don't check the order with the food. They should put the chicken in the same bag as the burgers and fries. If it's not big enough, get a bigger bag. My meal was very cold when I got home to say the least, I wasn't very happy with them. The store number is 1500584, Statesville, NC. I have to admit I'm impressed with this zesty chicken sandwich. There has been so much fuss about which restaurant has the best chicken sandwich so I had to try Hardee's too. This sandwich was seasoned good, juicy chicken breast, warm soft buttery bun and nice amount of sauce and pickles. Definitely choose this one over a few other restaurants I'm not naming. Finally waited them out; As some will note, I been here several time before and service has always been terrible. Decided to wait them out. Taking the order was OKl Placed it very quickly and proceeded to the window. At that point it stopped and again, I almost drove off but wanted to see how far it would go. Finally pulled up to the window and they took my moneyt; Sat there for 3 minutes and 57 seconds before I got my order.\\ Got the $5.50 special because you would think it woud be faster. \\ Sorry was not and the double cheeseburger I took back to the office was not very good; The chili dog was OK and actually was the high point. The new five dollar meals will definitely fill you up. That's a good call on Hardy's part. However the restaurant was not that clean. And the employee seemed a little bit disheveled but we're very friendly. I was disappointed that it had a health rating of 91. After looking around, you can see it's not the cleanest place. I have to say they have really improved on their quality of burgers. Just please tidy up a little bit and get that health rating up. read more

This is the first time I've been to this Hardees and it was a horrible experience. The young girl taking our order was less than friendly. When we pulled up to the window and paid, we were asked to pull into a parking space. We parked and waited almost 15 minutes for our food. When she finally brought it out she didn't have our drinks, and when we asked her about it she said oh I forgot them. So she went back inside to get them. While we were waiting for those I checked our order and we were missing a medium fry, a small fry, and a cookie. After about 5 minutes of waiting for our drinks we said forget it and left. All in all we were shorted 4 drinks, 2 fries and a cookie. The fries we did get were already cold when we got them. Between the bad attitude and all of the missing food, I can promise we will never go to that location again. read more

No lights in the parking lot, very dark. Soggy buns and cold fries, cartons only half full. Oil for fries needs to be changed. Order was wrong so had to go back through drive through.
