Harden Coffee has been a frequent spot of mine for years. As far as local coffee goes, even through my fair bit of traveling in the Eastern US, I've yet to find any shops that make a better cappuccino or latte. They roast their own beans, which is a big plus for anyone who brews at home. It's also a perfect, chill spot for sitting back with a laptop and sipping at a pour over or high-quality drip. Nestled on Main Street in Campbellsville Kentucky is the spacious and modern coffee house Harden Coffee. I was here on a day trip and wanted to walk along Main St. and see what little gems I could find. If you know Kentucky you know when it's humid it's suffocating. Today was no exception. I saw the quaint signage and knew I had to come in for a refreshment. I decided on an Iced Coconut Latte. It hit the spot. I'm usually weird about artificial flavors, but this coconut was fresh and not overpowering. Mild, silky and creamy with a hint of the beach in liquid form. Yummy!!!! The environment is perfect for those wanting to chill or study. I could stay here for hours. read more

Talk about an amazing cup of Joe! We love Harden Coffee and especially the Woodsman. We had been driving from Louisville to Campbellsville for this deliciousness. We would pick up a couple bags and of course a cup to go. We recently learned that we could have the bags of whole bean shipped right to our door. What better way than that. A lot better than the majority of chain coffeehouses. The small, concentrated menu means that the order is of high quality. What sets this place apart is that they roast their own coffee, obviously very carefully since the flavours shine through and there is no bitterness. The food choices are equally as good. Again a limited, focused menu but quality is the name of the game. For the prices charged, the food is tasty, well prepared and well worth the money. This coffee shop is FANTASTIC! I am from out of town and needed a place to run a phone call. I found them on Yelp and they are as good as the pictures show. Coffee is excellent. Roasted in house, you can even see the roaster and bags of green coffee in the back. The ambience is perfect. Really large and spacious, natural wood floor. The music isn't too loud, you can easily work and focus as well as take a call. Internet was also fast. I ordered the breve. Perfectly made, balanced between coffee and milk. Smooth and fresh. It was so good I came back and bought a bag of coffee for home. My only small recommendation would be more power outlets on the tables or walls. read more

Harden's is one of my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is amazing and I so appreciate the attention to detail that went into the look and feel of this place. The staff is cordial but there are very little visual clues as to what to order. More baked goods would be nice but what they do have are incredible. Be sure to try Mike's Country Ham Biscuit. Awesome! Edit: They changed the country ham biscuit recipe. Not a fan of the new version. And a new menu board has been added for additional visual clues as to what to order. read more

The best latte, this side of the pond, I've ever had! The granola bar ( made in house) is Devine! I'm in town for the Amazon camper workforce and I try to make it here at least once week! We are in Campbellsville for a coupe of months working a seasonal job at Amazon, and decided to check Harden's out on a day off from work. We loved the laid back ambiance. We felt like we were sitting in someone's living room drinking coffee. And the pastries (made in house every day).....OMG! I had their strawberry crumble and my wife a vanilla scone.....we cherished every bite. I actually drank my coffee without half and half, which is a rarity for me. Such a great coffee shop located downtown in a beautiful old brick building! Being from Seattle, it's tough to find a coffee shop in the middle of nowhere that can live up to my expectations. But Harden raises the bar for what good coffee should be. Roasted on site, it's obvious Justin Harden knows what he's doing with his coffee. There is ample room for sitting, reading, studying, etc and they also have free wifi available. Offering drip, espresso, and pour over, there is something here for everyone. Awesome place - big city feel in a small town! Great to see a business like this in Campbellsville thriving; it was busy all three days that we stopped in (yes, three days in a row). My girlfriend and I were in town for a few days visiting family and needed a place to get our latte and chai tea fix - this place delivered! Only one sour note - for some reason one of the staff just didn't seem to give two coffee beans about our experience. Unfortunately they served us the last couple of days we went; the service was excellent the first morning and I wish it would've been repeated. Simply cannot believe this gem of a store! Coffee is legitimately delicious and the most friendliest staff, without being imposing. The pour over of the Guatemalan bean was perfected to a science. The good and the bad Good: Justin the owner has crafted one of the best cups of coffee around, roasting in house. There pastries are great, baked in house. They have a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Nothing to complain about from that point of view. The Bad: visiting a variety of customer service businesses as a sort of past time, I can say that Hardens staff is lacking. I feel as if their presence towards their customers starts great but fizzles off very fast. They also have steep prices and odd ways rules in which each employee seems to be confused by. Example: they have a "free refill" system. But as I learned the hard way, it's not for to-go cups. I personally get my coffee to-go incase I am needing to go somewhere, imagine that. I feel as if it is the same as ordering it "for here", because I always sit to enjoy their space and WiFi! All I ask, is either do the free refill or don't do it at all. Don't ride the fence, I'm willing to pay for the refill (which is full price, what?) because if their great coffee! In conclusion: tighten up the staff and think through the way you present you coffee to the customer and Hardens WILL be the coffee place to beat! read more

Excellent Coffee Shop Experience I have traveled to Campbellsville, KY many times to visit friends and always brought my coffee with me. One year I discovered Harden Coffee hiding in Sunshine Natural Health Food Store and was thrilled to get a good cup of local coffee. In 2014 Harden Coffee opened their own space in downtown Campbellsville and is not a local favorite. When I visit, there is usually a mix of locals, college students and diverse ages enjoying coffee and conversation and the pasty or savory of the day. The walls have art displayed and some evenings they are open for music events and other local gatherings. Harden Coffee competes with the best urban coffee shops I have visited and is a wonderful addition to this small town! read more

It's a family owned business by some very down to earth individuals that not only care about the community but also about the quality of coffee they are serving.
