The owner at the location area code 845 372 58 88 Wappingers falls ( I believe his name is Gino) was extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. After I ordered the wood online, paid extra for the delivery, the stacking, I received a email saying it would take a week or two to get the wood delivered. I called the owner and asked if I could have it delivered within 3 days. He became very offensive and told that me I was rude to ask to have my wood delivered so soon(within 3 days). He said it could be done but he was going to charge me more. At that point, I told him I wanted to cancel my order with him. He refused and told me he would update me in the evening and he never did. I called again in the morning and he had the wood delivered after I was already gone. Lino whom I spoke to, was the delivery guy and was very nice as opposed to his boss. I will never buy wood ever again to a person who disrespect his customers the way he did with me. He was a bully who charges more than every body else in the area. read more

This supplier couldn't be bothered to give a reasonable price. Just 'mailing it in' doesn't make it anymore .. there's plenty of eager competitively priced suppliers who are at least attentive to legitimate practices. read more

Just want to let you know I had an excellent experience with Hardwood Brothers! I worked with Gino to get my order. He has excellent customer service skills and knows wood and how to process it. He leads you in the right direction and can be trusted. The delivery folks dropped off the wood exactly where they told me they would drop if off --right on the tarp and no where else and delivered right on time! They are professionals. I am very happy with their product and service. The wood can get wet and still burn without issue, as they said. This is a quality product and service. I'm proud to have such a top notch business reside in Wappingers Falls. This business and its employees add to this community! I would buy from them again without thinking twice. read more

I just wanted to say they delivered the BEST firewood I have ever used. It is amazing. The delivery guys were so nice and friendly. They have a new, devoted customer!  This is the first time I have been able to start a fire in my woodstove using newspaper. I bought a cord from a local father and son in Saugerties who said their wood was seasoned. It wasn't. It wouldn't burn. They ignored my messages to them. Hardwood bros were recommended to me by a restaurant owner in Woodstock. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else moving forward. It is well worth the money! read more

I recently purchased a cord of kiln dried firewood from these guys. I spoke with the owner Geno and was thrilled at the quick response. I anticipated waiting weeks for the wood but was pleasantly surprised that he was able to get it to me in two days! Everywhere else had a 4-6 week wait time. The wood came delivered on a pallet as requested -clean, stacked and ready to burn. It was easily placed in my garage without any problems. I inspected this load because the last load I purchased from someone else to remain nameless- was dirty and full of bugs! This one was clean and sized perfectly for me to handle. I appreciate the timeliness and the respect of the delivery people. They were courteous, respectful of my property and took the care needed to ensure no damage was done to my plantings, shrubs or building. That was a great experience! I ordered a load of the kiln dried firewood from the Hardwood Bros yesterday. Gene (who seems to be the owner) explained how he ensures the wood is the very best, and does all he can to make the entire endeavor, from supply to delivery the best he can. He seems to love his job and loves firewood and it's always nice to talk to someone who is passionate about his work. Gene was able to get me the firewood the day after I ordered, and he scheduled a delivery time with me so I could be there to assist and show him where I wanted it delivered.
