Chris is the most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with. My entire family (dad, sister, brother,…read moregrandma, etc.) have been going to him for something like 20 years now. He'll tell you what you NEED to have done to fix your issue, and he'll tell you what you SHOULD have done if he sees anything else, but he won't pressure you or try to upsell you for work that won't fix your immediate problem. He will also save the parts he replaced and show them to you and explain exactly what he did, in case you care about that sort of thing - which has helped me learn a lot more about how cars actually work over the years. He's super busy and sometimes it can take a day or two for a spot to free up, but it's completely worth it with what you'll save by not going to some big chain shop - even if they are honest. He charges less than those guys. I'm pretty sure he doesn't mark up/profit on parts. And he's pretty damn fast, too. Once it's your vehicle's turn, he gets on it and knocks it out in a hurry. I'm not the kind of guy who has a lot of "business loyalty" simply because most places all seem about the same to me, but as long as I'm in Omaha, I can say two things things car-related: I'll only ever get my repairs done at C & C, and I'll only get my tires from Champlin Tires. When you find a place that kicks ass, you stick with it!

We called several places ( Don's, Jensen's, etc) and got the runaround and a few sorry boutchas. We called Drennen's first, but there wasn't an answer. We called one more time, and Curt answered. He immediately provided a probable cause, and asked us to tow it to the shop, even though they were closed. Fast forward. we were waiting for the tow, and Curt shows up with oil in hand. Pours a few quarts in and we roll to the shop, about a mile away... Curt got right to work, very nice and efficient. Turns out, one of the rings on the filter busted (the probable cause, he stated first off). He's fixed Señorita up! 12/10.
