I called and spoke to Dave. They had a full docket but he told me to come by the next morning and they'd work me in. After I dropped the truck off, they called me within a couple of hours to let me know what was wrong and authorize the repair. They used original Ford parts and were far less expensive than the dealership! I have heat again! The team was very friendly and professional. When they looked up my information, the service advisor initially told me my tire warranty had expired in April. I had to correct him because I remembered getting a flat tire around the Fourth of July last year, so I knew the timeline didn't add up. Thankfully, they double-checked and found that the tire was still under warranty. The biggest downside was the wait. I had already arranged for someone to pick me up, but I was told my car was already on the rack and that I'd be out of there soon. Because of that, I decided to stay instead of leaving. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting about an hour and a half in the lounge when I could have been home or getting work done. To their credit, the staff apologized for the delay, and the repair was completely covered under warranty, so I didn't have to pay anything. While the communication about timing could have been better, I appreciated that they honored the warranty and made things right in the end.

I got a 2001 Chevy S10 with 93k miles on it a year before. Starting a new career in IT contracting, I figured it'd be a good idea to get my beloved little rustbucket looked at. This thing was, not just abused, but neglected for several years. Joe found every last problem with the motor. The sheer scope of issues with it that Joe managed to find and repair is insane. Thank goodness I had a nest egg saved up just for such an occasion. They invited me right over to the lift to see the problems with my own eyes. When I turned the truck in the next day, they were even kind enough to drive me home since I lived in Bellevue. Not just that, but when the truck was finally done after discovering even more issues (namely a timing chain so loose it's a wonder the truck ran at all, with the valves a full eighth of a rotation behind the crankshaft) and repairing them. It was held back for another day due to starting issues traced back to the timing sensor, something he insisted on eating the cost of due to how long it's been in service (about a week). After that they were happy to pick me up. The truck since then has been running like an absolute dream. I've driven 450 miles in the span of 3 days working all across Western Iowa/Eastern Nebraska, about a hundred miles out from the Omaha Metro at max. I cannot thank them enough for their incredible quality of service, mechanical and customer. I will not trust any other mechanic until I'm forced to stop going to Joe's.

While driving to work that day I notice my car bogging down I said oh what now I pulled over popped the hood and my freaking air filter is sitting on top of the engine bay and my air filter box wide open! Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.
