Cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is absolutely delicious. The Sammi brisket sandwich was hearty and delicious. We had the Jersey Devil pizza. Everything has a gourmet flare. The chef knows how to cook! The selection of beers on tap are sure to please everyone's palate. The staff is super friendly too. The bartenders Keith and TJ are super friendly. Best service! We have been ordering from here since it opened and always have been pleasantly surprised with their food and service. Our favorite dish is cheech and Chong chicken. We come from Morgantown and cannot find a good fried chicken sandwich like this. And their dill sauce is killer! Love coming here for the pizzas and our goto pizza is the Rabbit Hole pizza. The crust seems to have been swatched in a garlic butter sauce, which is so good! Service has always been friendly and good. When you first walk in, there is a decent size bar and then they have two dining areas. The chairs at the hightop tables aren't the most comfortable. They do have outdoor seating when the weather accommodates. read more

Full transparency. I worked in this building 40 years ago when it was the tea room and it was perfect. The conversion just doesn't work for me. The bar in the vestibule doesn't fit and the rest of the decor just has no personality. It doesn't keep people away though, cause it was packed this Friday night. Service was good plus there was a show. An entire table was loaded with food, professionally lit, with a photographer getting all the best shots. We came for the Gobsmack bites; kinda like a beef Wellington with meatloaf. They were just ok, couldn't taste the Brie. The pierogies were ok, expected a bigger plate and a little more meat. There were just a few small slices of kielbasa. Nachos were the star. Still not sure why they put that solo cheese curd on top but why question perfection. Always enjoyable. It's a cute place with pretty decent beers and the food isn't bad either. We sat at the bar which is immediately inside the door. The bar is fairly small but cozy. The bartender, TJ, was friendly and fun. The beers were actually quite nice and they had options for my better half like gin and tonic. The food was ok, my fish and chips weren't very crispy and my wife's brisket egg rolls weren't very hot. Nothing we felt needed to be corrected, just some observations for Hares Hill. The chips (fries) were tasty with a nice heat and the bang bang chicken was very good. We're looking forward to our next visit. My wife and i got the chicken and waffle wings and a medium Azteca pizza. Both were delicious. The wings had a waffle batter coating, drizzled with maple syrup, and topped with bacon pieces. The pizza is a white pizza with chorizo and pico. The service was good and multiple people checked in on us throughout our visit. The restaurant is in an old house and had very cool vibes. This space continues to keep my business and even more so now that the folks that own Your Moms Place and Stone House Grille have remodeled the interior. They have kept the same incredible staff and really spruced up the joint with a killer back room for larger parties. Plenty of weekday specials, and the same small bar room if you prefer to belly up and get to know your locals. The beers are quite good. Very IPA heavy, but they have a nice house lager on always and a rotating dark beer. Would love to see more styles personally. Kitchen closes at 8pm Tues-Thurs and 9pm Friday and Sat so not a late night spot. Plenty of parking. Pizzas are huge and delicious. The Jersey Devil is my favorite. Burgers great too. Salads are massive as well. Always a fun hang. Highly recommend. read more

When you go, get the nachos. They are worth the trip. The brewery is inside an old house. There is not a lot of parking and I could not find a spot on a previous visit. The menu is decent size so you can find something to eat. There were only 5 beers on tap and was hoping for a larger selection. And I was disappointed that nothing was playing on the televisions. Really wanted to like Hare's Hill Brewing Company since I frequently find myself in the area around dinner time and just like the idea of a good brewpub in a bit of an "out of the way, rural area." However, I recently stopped in for an impromptu dinner and found it to be quite unwelcoming. It was a little early, maybe 5:00 on a weeknight. The entrance door opens right into a small bar area. There were about 6 people at the bar who were apparently local regulars since the couple of (female) bartenders/servers could barely pull themselves away from flirting with the guys at the bar and laughing with each other. One finally came over to me after I awkwardly stood there for quite a while since I wanted to sit in the dining room. She seemed a little miffed that I had interrupted their "fun" but took me into the adjacent dining room where there was only one other group of guests seated. With a pasted smile she said someone would be there soon to help me and quickly turned her attention back to the fun at the bar. Now I could see the bar and hear the goings on there clearly from my table... Without going into too much detail, it took a long time for another server to finally leave the bar and come over to take my order. The food was just ok. I had the house specialty burger which was a combination of chorizo and beef and nachos. The burger, I think, was just not my thing, so I won't ding it for taste, but it was way over cooked. The nachos were just ok. For the life of me I don't know why so many restaurants can't make amazing nachos since it's not that hard! So, my overall takeaway was how unprofessional the bartender/server staff was. I felt like I was watching a movie about naive, young highschoolers working together and treating their jobs as more a social gathering than a business they care about. You know, more like the lifeguard and snack bar staff at a community pool than a serious business... That, combined with the just ok food means I will not be back, no matter how much I wanted it to be on the regular rotation. Too many other good options, if even a fair drive away... read more

As former service industry employees we always enjoy how attentive the service is. The beers as well as the food are always delicious. I was initially surprised at the variety of flavors in their brews. The pizza is actually some of the best I've had in this area. I tossed pies as a kid all over & I love this pizza. Their menu changes often & has a variety of enticing options from brisket egg rolls, siracha hot wings, to delicious pizza or sandwiches. The environment offers indoor & outdoor seating which we love. Indoor has TV's often with baseball on which we enjoy. Outdoor seating is nice but limited to being next to the road. We both wish there was seating closer to the stream. The bar is kinda tiny. Seats throughout the restaurant are not super comfy. This place is a joke. I waited over a half hour for a simple burger and they still forgot the extra order of fries after they asked me to wait another 11 minutes for them. I had to call while standing in the entrance and ask for help after I came back in because the bartender refused to acknowledge me. The food and service is awfully expensive for being less than mediocre. Tony Joes was the best fit for this spot. What a shame that Hares Hill moved in. read more

Very small, super busy and slow service. Atmosphere is cozy and street corn dip was awesome! My tomato mozzarella panini tasted like a campfire. Maybe too much liquid smoke. Drinks are expensive for the size glass they come in but the servers were nice. I'd go back but probably get just the appetizers and a soda. Lol read more

We don't even drink but will be returning here frequently! The cheech and Chong chicken sandwich is worth its weight in gold. It is so tender, juicy, and a generous portion size! I think the ranch is house made, and tastes like they put crack in it. The egg rolls and pizza get honorable mention, but the chicken sandwich is truly the star of the show!!
