The beer list was a decent size with a good variety and the two beers my party got both had a great flavor. The burgers and sandwiches were excellent and the fries were a 10/10. The portions were appropriately sized, leaving you full but not stuffed. The brewery is set in an old firehouse and everything was clean (including the bathrooms) and with excellent service. The waitress was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we were well taken care of. I look forward to going back when the weather is nicer to sit on the terrace. read more

The building is absolutely stunning being that they were able to restore an old firehouse and fit in a nice sized brewery restaurant. The beer is very good and they have a decent rotation to satisfy most beer drinkers. The service is good and the staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I will say I deeply miss the old menu- the pizzas and wing selections along with the different types of cheese steaks was on-point. Now they switched it up and, to me, it's just not as appetizing. I have seen a lot of brewpubs go down this road where they try and make the food too eccentric and it drives a good amount of people away. Now I am saying that purely from my perspective. The food still is well prepared and tasty. If you're in the area it is a good spot to check out. On Fridays I believe they do live music. There is outdoor seating that is dog friendly. Parking is ample and the location is convenient. read more

Went for the music... will return for the food and drinks! What a great job they did renovating this cool old space and creating a fun atmosphere! They have live music on Friday nights, and we went to see one of our favorite bands, Krimson Cirkus. We had a super cool smoked old fashioned, and a beer flight. Checked out the whole place. They have a private event space upstairs that was awesome. The food was really good as well. Worth checking out for sure. read more

Lost Planet is located in an old fire station and is decorated to carry this vibe throughout - we loved taking in the decor and seeing old call sheets, road listings, etc on the wall. It is very well done in terms of preserving the space and carrying the vibe throughout. We stopped in on a weekend afternoon after a hike for some drinks and food. The server we had was awesome - she was so friendly and was really on top of everything. We felt so welcome despite it being a busy weekend (it was Black Friday!). We ordered a few different things - the food was good, typical bar food. Nothing stands out, in a good or bad way. We enjoyed our beers, but didn't try too many. Our kids still talk about the cool firehouse we went to. It is a bit of a hike for us to get here, but we would definitely stop in again to take in the atmosphere and enjoy some drinks. read more

Open just over a month in a super cool building is Lost Planet Brewing. This place gets pretty busy from 5pm on Thursdays and Fridays, but we found a hi-top for 2 and our server (Julianne?) was right over to us to get us waters and our drink order. My wife decided on the 6 sample flight ($10) to try the many craft beer offerings flowing. They had 10-12 beers. No dark beers on at the moment, but their seasonal Marzen was very good. They had a couple pilsners, a hazy IPA, a pale ale, grisette, peach sour and a light lager as some of their selections. Their West Coast IPA just kicked. They also had a handful of creative cocktails and a couple options for wine. The printed food menu is limited, but they had at least 4 or 5 more "specials" that they are planning to add to the list full time. It's early. My wife had the smash burger, which was a bit greasy, but very flavorful. I had a brisket cheesesteak which was brisket served thin and loaded. I really enjoyed the sandwich and had half to take home. Served with shoestring fries (did not see any option to sub a salad, etc). Pricing a bit on the higher side IMO ($17-$18 for both menu items). Service was quick and super friendly. The place was sort of loud with tables close together. They have a patio out back that looked to seat another 6-8 tables or so and only one family was sitting out back, even on a very nice night. Not sure if they plan to cover it during the colder months. I hope so! A nice first dining experience. The beers were all above average, especially that Oktoberfest style beer. Recommend! read more

Loved the cool old firehouse ambience with soaring ceilings and outdoor covered patio. Pierogi were the best we have had since moving here. Huge, tasty Rofo wedge salad. Decent beer. Wow, not enough superlatives to describe our first venture to Lost Planet. First off, so great to have a brewery that doesn't have 18 IPAs on the draft list. Great variety of beers. Usually don't do flights but we had to tonight, and my wife and I thought every beer was very good/excellent. Top things off with outstanding service, great food and a cool, historic setting and we had a totally enjoyable experience. For a new business, these guys should really be commended for what they've created. Great addition to the area. Can't wait for our next time back. read more

I will give this a 1 out of 5. Strictly for the venue. Great atmosphere. Cool repurposing of the fire station. Unfortunately the food was way below standard. The crispy chicken sandwich was a soggy Perdue out of the bag paddy. We asked for bbq chicken wings and my son received dry rubbed wings. They were horrible. Way too much dry rub. When we told the waitress we asked for bbq and no dry rub she stated they all came with dry rub. My wife had the chicken parmigiana which was cold and again was like fake chicken and the sauce tasted like ragu. We were really hoping for a great local spot but it fell way below our expectations. read more

A great place to relax and have a beer and a burger or, as in my case a beer and a charcuterie. Their Space Walk Hazy IPA was very good and went well with my food. Often when ordering charcuterie one gets a skimpy board with a few slices of meat and cheese and a large check. LPBC's charcuterie at $18 is generous and more than adequate as a meal for one or a nice appetizer to share with others. One unusual turn to this dish is that rather a board of distinct meat slices laid out in columns, LPBC chops all the meats and mounds them together in the center of the board resulting in an explosion of flavor with each bite. The inclusion of dried cranberries (I think that's what they were) make a nice contrast to the meats and cheeses. My serving included only two, thinly sliced and lightly toasted baguette so I asked for some more and they gladly complied. A good bread is a crucial part of a great charcuterie. This is ingredient was, at its best, mediocre and LPBC should invest in better bread. read more

I am surprised to be the 1st to post a review since they have been open a month. The brewery is located in an old firehouse with plenty of nearby street parking. They had 10 beers (all their own) along with a pretty decent menu. We went with the Supreme style and made a meal for 3 of us. Vthe place was packed on a Friday night with many people watching the phillies game. When the game finished, a band started playing and the acoustics are not good and we could not hear each other and followed the crowd out. Definitely good beer and food selections. This place opened with such excitement. They did an amazing job renovating an old firehouse and it was packed at the beginning. The beer was great. The menu was small but they nailed everything. I can only assume lazy ownership as the reason I will NEVER go again. There are 2 people working on a Friday night. Both are excellent. No IPA. No mustard for a pretzel. Half the menu unavailable. I'm not sure what to say! We were so excited for this Brewery to come to Royersford but, unfortunately, I think it has fallen short for us. Last time we went, the pizza didn't seem cooked all the way and (I get help is hard to come by) the bartenders seemed lost. The chicken sandwich we had was good but it didn't seem like a breast which was what I was expecting. I think you should warn people if it's going to be dark meat which I don't love. read more

My wife has been there twice and myself once. On her first visit, the margarita mix was poured out of a can. On our second, the espresso martini looked nothing like their image. Basically, several coffee beans floating on top. The nachos were too pricey for cheese sauce on chips with jalapeños on the side. I had a great time at Lost Planet last night, with family and friends. We were there to enjoy some fantastic live music, while sipping on their finely crafted cocktails and beers. I also had dinner - salmon with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach - it was all delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed a large Bavarian pretzel with yummy beer cheese. Party of 12 so you know they're going to make money. Beautiful restaurant but disappointing from the minute we entered. (The beer is very good however.) One server who was acting as the bartender but can't do anything but beer. No mixed drinks, etc. lots of apologies, it gets worse. Finally 45 minutes after we entered the bartender shows up. Our party gets escorted upstairs while we waited forever, the bartender ignored us in order to take care of others. We finally gave up and went upstairs and ordered drinks. Then we notice the menu which was not what was on their website, it was at least 75% smaller than what was on their website. Half the apps, no salads, 1 of the 6 mains, etc. Neither thing I was looking forward to was on the menu. More apologies, the cook is sick. We have now been waiting 30 minutes for our drinks. I explained to the server that it was not right that it was on their Internet and no one mentioned the severely pared down menu when we called to make the reservation. There is one server for the entire place. Ordered at 5:50, half the food came at 6:15, some more came at 6:23, last one 5 minutes later. Burgers were good, wings overcooked, fries overspiced, everything else pretty good. Lots of waiting. Unfortunately the venue is astounding but they are really losing out on the menu, staff, and food. I just had my first experience at Lost Planet Brewing and I have to say I can't wait to go back. We were seated quickly, our server, Abby, was exceptional. I tried a flight of 6 of their beers, they were all good, but my favorites were Red Flag Warning, a Czech lager and Space Walk, a Hazy. I had the wings which were excellent and my companions had the pub melt and fries. They said both were fantastic, I tried the fries, Wow!! Really good. I can't wait to go back. I heard they have trivia nights on Wednesdays, can't wait. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem, it may become your new favorite place. read more

The service was horrible from the moment we walked in. They said to seat yourself and it took fifteen minutes to get water and no menus for food or drink. Another fifteen minutes and the server never came back. After the thirty minutes we walked out and the bartender had the audacity to say thank you for coming in and have a good night. Been here half-a-dozen times. Started out very well with a neat venue and clever re-purpose of the old fire house. The staff was friendly and sufficient, their IPA good, and the food OK for pub grub. However the last two visits were a disappointment. The staff was inadequate and harried, there was no IPA available, and we did not request a take home box for below average food. Was seated and was given menus after looking it over for a short period of time the waiter comes back over and grabs our menus and say the grill gets turned off an hour before close so no food. Was passing thru the area visiting some relatives and decided it might be nice to venture to a new location in town for some beers and snacks. Super cool location and building first off - but upon entry was greeted by boisterous yelling by some sports fans shouting at the 15 enormous televisions surrounding the entire perimeter of the bar / dining room. Uuuuuggggh. Soon the game was over, after seating ourselves but the Bro Ball bull$$hittt continued with some kind of "sports talk" show that had a bunch of dudes sitting around talking about the game that was just on. One dude was going into great detail about the size and shape of his body compared to one of the players - like who gives an actual fu@kk? Also the volume on the TVs was outrageous. Super lame, like just unreal how "standard" this new facility is trying to be in terms of catering to sports. Their logo and marketing is a quirky 50's style rocket ship - the building is a beautiful classic fire station! Where does all over 60in televisions playing homoerotic sports come into play here? When did imagination and thought leave the equation? Despite the awful "noise" and continued "sports performances" the beer was good / waitstaff very nice. Foods were decent - wings were a bit undercooked, but tasty. Nice atmosphere minus the ridiculous sports worship. Not sure I'll return based on the low brow sports pandering / vs the intelligent design and well thought business profile. There is an obvious disconnect in the model thinking that local sports fans are more important / or more prevalent than non sports fans. Just an FYI, most EAGLES fans are likely more comfortable drinking a Miller Light, Budweiser or Pabst - along with paying those prices for such drivel. #realtalk read more

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. First off, took forever to get our drinks, the bartender told us he could not find a stirrer for the Bloody Mary. They were out of two very popular beers [this is a brewery so come on]. There was a trivia contest which is great but the vendor was so loud we could not hear a word anyone was saying. My daughter and I both ordered wings which were ok but, one order was served which had her wings and mine. We had to wait to get the remainder of our orders. My wife's hamburger was burnt. The service was ok, our server forgot a few times to get our drinks from the bar but was attentive when it came to food. I was so disappointed especially because trust me, it was not cheap. I am hoping this is constructive criticism and I hate doing this to new, small local businesses but I hope this review helps improve this potentially amazing brewery. I hate giving bad reviews but our experience here was not good. We arrived and waited for a table, after being seated we waited longer than usual for drinks but fine, it was a weekend evening. We were then told that half the menu wasn't available, with no suggestions from our server of what to order. Our server was not friendly and seemed annoyed the entire time even though we were patient and polite like nothing was wrong. Drinks took almost 10 min to arrive after ordering and our appetizer was over cooked. At that point we were over it and just wanted to leave. My husband said his beer was flat tasting and we were just really disappointed bc we planned to come here for weeks and used to constantly check IG to see when this place would officially open. We ended up closing out early and took a car service to another place to finish our dinner/ date night. A friend had a similar experience to ours and said they walked out after waiting almost 10 min for a table with no acknowledgement. Again I understand this is a new business and I'm not trying to be mean but i hope this is read as feedback to improve. If the service was great we would have ended up staying but the vibe was so bad, we almost got up from our seats to order from the bar but we didn't want to annoy the bartenders even more. Please please please improve, starting with service and being more open with your customers, that to me is half the battle. As a previous employee one of the longest, after walking in to our 5th new kitchen staff, one barely speaks English, anyway the not how you treat employees at all. The are always out of ay least 2 to 3 beers it gets embarrassing. I did not want to leave but the owner just stood there and didn't say a word. I am not trashing the place I loved working there, the deceit on the menu, the pretzels come pre packaged and cooked, we just heat them up. All the pierogi's are Mrs. T's not from scratch neither are most deserts. So question everything. They bring all 6 dogs to work and leave them in brewery. They eat at the Trappe Tavern 7 nights a week, if lost planet is that great then eat there but no they choose to eat elsewhere that tells me alot. They have great help most, it a fun environment. Not much complaints on food so the change who knows, service stinks. Well you lost myself, Jules, charday all for lack of communication and not knowing how to run a restaurant. Having servers leave their shifts to go get stuff at store this was and is a daily occurrence. There you go. read more
