The Anniversary Imperial Chocolate Cake Stout

I'm going to rate this 4 stars strictly for the quality of what I had, BUT there were a few issues regarding service and availability. The Anniversary Imperial Chocolate Cake Stout was really good, and I had a kielbasa panini. The sandwich took unusually long despite not being very busy 30 minutes after they opened. It was good, though. The menu on their website stated they had 12 beers, but only 10 were on tap when we got here. One of the kicked ones was DDH Bleed Green. I also thought they would have cans as they said this beer would be continually in stock during the Eagles season. I wouldn't care if a beer kicked, but it was the only reason we stopped here. They should update the website before opening if two beers, one being the most popular/important beer they offer, have kicked the day before. They had more cans the day after my visit, so I guess I'm just unlucky, but you should call ahead and ask for availability just in case.

It was our first time there. There was food available but we had already eaten. The beers were good, service was also very good. The place is smaller than it appears from the outside so it can be a bit tight and loud at lunchtime. But we'd definitely go back and try their menu.

    Delicious brussels sprout

First impression is always good, love the place, clean and the waitress are very friendly most of all food was awesome, perfect taste not salty just right!! Beer is cold!! Love it Definitely coming back

I've never had a bad brew here. They definitely provide variety between hard hitting IPAs, fruity Sours and perfectly crafted Saisons. The food is always impeccable. I'd recommend the pork shoulder sandwich . They also have a welcoming outdoor area with tables, couches and cornhole. Definitely a go to spot this summer.

How true, Rebel Hill, how true.

It's grilled chicken and the flavor of the grilled chicken over powers any caesar-ness to it. Still very good though. The vibe was great being able to look out the window and watch the downtown. Only complaint were the few gnats/flies that kept bothering us. Such is with any restaurant window seat. I'd sit closer in next time and see if that help. Would come back again

Special Saturday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. Rebel Hill makes its own beer cheese. I asked the nice bartender if they would make me a cheesesteak with the beer cheese, and he said yes. We got a cheesesteak with fried onions and beer cheese. It came with French Fries. The beer cheese is creamy and adds a ton of flavor to the cheesesteak. I loved my beer. It was named 'Eaten Alive' in honor of 'The Blob.' Great space. Bar, table, and outside seating. You can hear in the video. It can get a little loud inside. The bartender was friendly and helpful. What kept this from being a top-five stop? The roll. It wasn't a bad roll, but this cheesesteak deserves a much better/complementary roll

It's a cool place that I wished I had more time to visit. What drew my interest the number of vegan options that they had on their menu. Vegan Nachos and Vegan Pizzas. There are also some handhelds as well. I was with a group of 35 at another restaurant that did not have vegan options so I called ahead, placed my order and picked it up around 6:30 pm. At that time, there was a good sized crowd inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I paid for my vegan pizza, and then without drawing too much attention to myself, walked into the restaurant and went to the second floor that was reserved for us. My pizza was excellent. The Vegan Blanco Vegan Mozzarella, Tofu Ricotta, Sauteed Spinach, EVOO, Garlic I haven't had pizza in about 3 months so i was definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed how they did the Tofu Ricotta the Vegan Mozzarella. My only critique is this - When working with vegan cheese - especially shredded, let it sit at room temperature before popping it in the oven. By doing this, you avoid the 'matchstick' look on the pizza. What happens is that the vegan cheese going from cold to hot is too extreme so it doesn't melt, or spread out - it essentially cooks / burns in place. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese. I devoured my pizza and appreciated having a vegan option besides fries and a veggie medley.

First of all, the owners are long-time beer makers and Phoenixville residents. With that comes the distinct advantage that they are truly plugged into the community. They host a variety of different, fun, and engaging events from yoga to quizzo to watch parties for Philly sports. There's always something happening, and the owners are almost always pouring the beers and working the bar, including their son. You can feel the devotion and passion they've put into this endeavour! Their space is awesome! It's huge, open-air optional, and a great place to post up with a couple of beers. Speaking of the beers, I'm always impressed with their offerings. Personally, the honey kolsch is my favorite. They dabble in a variety of beer styles, including the popular smoothie sours, but I'm a big fan of their lagers. Food is BYO unless there's a food truck. They also offer a hotdog combo: 2 hot dogs and bag of chips for $6; sold! The faces are friendly, the people are warm, the beer is cold, and vibes are...vibing. Twelve78 is definitely worth a visit (or 4!)
