This is a beautiful spot, and the draft beer is both varied and plentiful. If you plan to visit during nice weather (which I'd argue is the entire point of visiting Levante Stables), I'd be prepared for lines, crowds, and limited seating. Of course, this is just my experience. I visited on a beautiful, Saturday spring evening. My group and I were fortunate to only have to linger for 15 minutes or so before securing seats. Next time, I'd bring our own chairs to play it safe. Others were not so lucky, finding solace leaning against a fence post or beer barrel. Though expansive, with plenty of seating options, this place was at or above capacity on my recent visit. It was by far the busiest confined space I've been in since the beginning of the pandemic. Parking was also tricky, as a result. The beer list was great - there were tons of different options, including stouts, ciders, and triples. The staff was fairly efficient, and they all wore masks. When the sun began to set, a staff member ignited our propane table-side fireplace, which was much needed as the spring chill sat in. Overall, this is a great spot for good, local beers. However, I'd say there needs to be more restriction on the amount of people. There were lots of large groups, which makes sense. This is one of the few outdoor beer gardens open at the moment, and makes it easier to socialize amongst the gathering restrictions. However, it was like COVID never happened here. Other than staff masking up, it was certainly beyond a capacity I'd be comfortable with, even pre-pandemic. My advice? Bring your own chairs, just in case. I also wish we could make reservations. Because we can't, I'll definitely hesitate to visit again during a peak time. read more

When it comes to hazy IPAs and heavy stouts Levante is definitely one of my local favorites. So when my GF suggested their Stables location as the spot to meet her family in I was all in. And it led to what might be my favorite outdoor brewery spot ever! As the name suggests, this Levante is set in a converted stable grounds which makes for the perfect indoor/outdoor drinking and dining experience. The main stable house was turned into an indoor bar space with tables and a storefront for their to-go beers and merchandise. Meanwhile, the outside grounds have plenty of tables, a gazebo for live music, and a spot for guest food trucks to sell their food. It has significantly less ideal seating on rain and winter-filled days because its a former stable, and it doesn't have the best food options without a visiting foodtruck. But the main building is still a great option to imbibe on colder days, and when its a great spring or summer day it's the best brewery option out there. As far as beers go its pretty hard to go wrong with everyday brews like their Cloudy & Cumbersome and Tickle Parts. But if you're down with dark beers you don't want to miss Imperial and Pastry Stouts like their Gran Gianduiotto Imperial Stout or their Dodge Dunk Dip mint oreo stout. read more

Great spot to meet up with friends and drink some delicious beer (they also serve wine and cocktails)! Lots of patio seating and picnic tables outside made it easy for my group to find a table. We went on a Wednesday night and it was trivia night! My group didn't participate because we had lots to catch up on, but the game sounded like a fun time so we will be back to play! Around 6:30pm, my group went up to the pizza truck to order and they only had one ball of dough left (aka the makings for only one more pizza). Our friendly server heard about this and her manager said it was fine if we ordered from a pizza place across the street. Perfect escape from the city on a beautiful spring night. We discovered the stables after looking for an afternoon trip to get out of the city and try some new beer! This place is beautiful, coupled with the beer and killer food trucks in rotation this will be put in my rotation for getting out of town this summer. The service is great, helping us pick out a few beers to try and checking in on us regularly. The beer is good, I had the hop cartel and the Cloudy & Cumbersome. I am not the biggest fan of New England style beers but these 2 were very clean and smooth, not over bearing or too boozy either. The vibe is just a big party out there. With indoor, outdoor and yard seating, there's something for everyone. They got solid beers with a good number of options. Their personal pizzas are amazing. They'll be gone in seconds if you aren't careful. I'm not a huge mushroom guy but they tasted great on this pie. The only thing is that it's a little pricey. Be forewarned, lots of folks feel like I do, as evidenced by the humongous crowds on a beautiful day. Ah , Levante. Pre Pandmemic we both would go to their West Chester spot almost religiously as we had the same days off. now, with our vaccines, work is crazy, so we don't share the days off as much. This was our first time at Levante Stables, and we chose to wander inside and sit down. I had no idea there was anyone to even wait on you inside, but we had Kelly (aka AK, as she said there were two of them there) and she was amazing! Funny, friendly, upbeat, and didn't steer us wrong. I've had beer by Levante before, but my husband and I had flights and we loved trying new things. I ended up taking a crowler home, and we will most definitely be back. Great spot to enjoy delicious beers outside! You can make a reservation through their website. They have a really nice outdoor space with appropriately distanced tables and heaters. The beer was delicious - especially if you enjoy IPAs. My favorite was the Pointing North (Imperial/double New England IPA). I also really enjoyed the taste of "For Fudge Sake" - but be careful, it's 12% and comes in a 16 oz can (definitely couldn't handle more than 1). There was a great food truck while we were here (Wizwit Catering - steaks & fried foods like french fries, egg rolls, funnel fries) - though I'm not sure how often they come. We showed up with a pretty large group (night before a wedding) and the Stables were the perfect place to go! The service was top notch, our server never left us without beers, snacks or water. First of all, I love breweries, especially a trip to go out to one. It's about an hour out of Philadelphia, but definitely worth the trip on a nice fall day. They have incredible beers, a food truck on site, plenty of large picnic tables outside, and even a sunflower field next door. What's not to love? It's a great escape from the city if you want some unique beers. They also do flights too so you can try most of what they have on the menu. If I'm in the area, I will definitely come back, but this is more of a destination, not a stopover. There is plenty of parking as well, but I can easily see this place getting packed during the spring. read more

Unreal. I didn't think the Levante crew could 'out chill' themselves but they did. The stables is like a mini festival popped up in your (larger, well appointed, colorful) backyard. Same solid beer, similar stellar crew and an unbelievably cool vibe. Tons of free parking, good food truck variety/offerings, plus table and yard games. I love all the nooks and crannies of the space. One downfall is certainly the bathroom situation (in a trailer) but it's definitely a step up from porta-potties and let's face it- for a place that came out of nowhere, I think it's a good solution. (I believe there are plans to update the bathrooms so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt based on how overly awesome the rest of the place is.) Oh! Did I mention there are fire pits?! Awesome! I have been wanting to check this place out for a while and so glad they opened this summer. Levante has the best beer and this is a great space to enjoy a beer with friends and family. It is build into an old barn with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music can often be heard as well as rotating food trucks (no food served at the Stables). The fruit sour beers are my favorites and they always seem to have one on draft. If you aren't a beer drinker no worries as there are hard seltzers and ciders on tap as well. 38 years old, and JUST realized, I actually like beer. Not that swill but you get it frat parties, good quality craft beer. This has become my absolute favorite place to hang out since it's opening. I love the food trucks, I love the music, I even love the kids on occasion just giggling and being silly. The beer is excellent as you would expect and the outdoor seating is hard to beat. We visited tonight, Friday, and the grass field parking was full. It's not a new place anymore and this place has been discovered. We left since it didn't look like there was seating but we have been there several times already and will go back as it is less busy. I have to say that i was so looking forward to The Stables reopening. I walked inside and really admired the newly renovated building..they did a great job. I then ordered a couple of beers and was really suprised to see that they are only 12 ounce pours. Cloudy is 5 bucks but everything else was 6 dollars or more. The cups are plastic so the bartenders tend to short the pour anyway trying to avoid spilling when they grab the beers. The cups are slim at the bottom then get wide at the top so when they don't fill the cups to the top, quite a bit of beer is missing. A little disappointing to say the least. I am so disappointed. I understand that all businesses are short staffed right now. I know going in to allow extra patience and allowances but..... I had the worst time here the other night. It was a slow night there were only a handful of people there and the one waitress made us so uncomfortable that I do not want to go back.
