This could be my favorite place in the world, and I was a Disney Vacation Club member. Special Saturday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. No cheesesteaks at Hidden River. I am working on a soon-not-to-be double secret project, so we stopped at Hidden River. I am glad we did. This place is haunted. Top ten most haunted places in America. According to a woman on Google Maps, you can buy tickets online for the haunted house tour after the brewery closes. Plenty of parking. Plenty of places to sit. Inside, outside, bar, and garden. Friendly crowd. A guy bought us and a few other people a drink. I loved my beer, so I had two of them. Amigo Dan tried two different beers and liked both of them. Tease, we were there for the beer. Sorry, I was feeling under the weather, and Amigo Dan was making me drink massive quantities of alcohol; I didn't get any video of my beer. We got the bar pretzel. It was amazing. It came with beer cheese. The beer cheese was amazing. It was creamy and added a lot of flavor

We have been coming here for happy hour for years now. They offer good IPA selections and others. Property is full of history which you can learn during the ghost tour. Good spot for everyone to enjoy themselves.

    5/6/23 Italian Italian

5/6/2023 My son was looking forward to taking us to Hidden River Brewery. It's in Douglasville but it's ultra close to Gabes/Coventry Mall. There is a very Ample parking lot and I can always appreciate that. The building is historical and really cool. Since it was so nice outside I felt free to explore the dining rooms. It's also billed as one of the top 10 Haunted Places in PA. I would love to come back for the ghost tour. The guy pouring drinks for us was Andy. Such an opulent personality and very friendly. I was the smart one in the group and ordered my food right away when everyone else ordered drinks. I'm glad I did too because it got busy and then the rest of my party ordered and the food took quite a while- that's the only reason I pulled back one star. When you order the food runner "finds you" with the table number you're given at the time you order. The menu was good and simple. I ordered the figgy panini which was fig jam, cheese, arugula (I think?!) and sliced pears- it came with chips and a pickle. It was delicious. Also had the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. My husband ordered the Italian Italian which was a zesty Italian sandwich made with high quality meats. Apparently they do have food trucks sometimes but that was not the case when we were there. I don't drink so I tried the Limonata San Pellegrino and seltzer water. Enjoyable but would be nice if they expanded the non alcoholic selections. I liked how jugs of water were readily available. We sat on the deck and it was a perfect day- even saw a Heron Flying overhead. I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

I could not be a happier person having found this place. I was looking for a brewery to grab a quick bite, a beer, and to read a few chapters of my book when this place popped up in my Google search. Lord, did I find the most amazing gem in Hidden River Brewing. First and foremost, apparently it's haunted!? SOLD! The brewery is located in an old house that has significant history and I'm excited to learn more about this property. Advertised on the tables and at the bar was a Valentine's Day Ghost Tour (which sounds amazing). The outdoor seating looked huge with a large wraparound deck, picnic tables, and tons of seating. I can imagine they get crazy busy when the weather is nice. That was my first impression. However, when I walked in, I was STUNNED to find they had 2 bars with dining areas and...now wait a second for this...the most INCREDIBLE seating area with a fireplace, bookshelves, old decor, etc. I mean they really leaned into the haunted building thing. If you're the kind of person who has always wanted to sit in an old study in a mansion and read dusty old books while sitting by the fireplace, this place is for you. I cannot stress enough how cool this place is. If I lived closer I would be here several times a week. Okay, now we've gone over the ambiance - let's talk food, beer, and service. The bartenders were super helpful as a newcomer (order at the bar, take a number and put it on your table, etc.). Very friendly and attentive. The menu was small but in a good way. They know what they are doing in only having a handful of options - it means the kitchen doesn't get too backed up and food comes out promptly. Think a few paninis, sandwiches, and things to munch on. Nothing crazy. I got the Nosh Board (cheeses, meats, pretzel, and pickles) and it was larger than I expected. It came with a whole deliciously warm pretzel, 3 kinds of cheeses, and 3 kinds of meats. Honestly a lot more than I expected and perfect for sharing with the table as you enjoy the delicious beer. Oh yes, the beer. So good! I love IPA's and they definitely delivered. I can't wait to try others. Long story short, this is my new favorite brewery. I've told so many friends about it and look forward to coming back here time and time again. Plus, if you're driving from Philly like me, you can stop at the outlets on the way home. I can't wait to come back! Maybe for the Valentine's Day Ghost Tour??? We will see! Keep up the good work Hidden River!

Yummy! Great beers. Lots of ipa's. Husband had the Hibernacular. I had the Cryptic. Order from bar. They have opened up a lot of new rooms since we were here last. Service great, friendly and quick! Cozy rooms with a Victorian vibe. Fireplaces and decks all around for the better weather!

Awesome ... especially for hop heads! Interesting place with lots of different indoor and outdoor spaces. We chose a table on the outdoor deck ... but could have easily enjoyed ourselves inside at 1 of the 2 bars too! I got the (extremely yummy) Uttu (9.2% triple IPA) and DH had (equally nice) Recite (5.5% pale ale). The Cuban Panini was good ... but a little on the small side especially for $13. The Nosh Plate ($13) was also decent and very shareable ... especially with the super tasty pretzel.

You know that feeling when you go on a REALLY good first date with someone, the kind of date where you can't stop thinking about the next time you're going to see them? Well, I went to Hidden River for the first time this past weekend and let's just say that I think I'm in love. Nowhere in Pennsylvania short of perhaps Tired Hands in Ardmore have I had more delicious beer. And, for those who have been, that's kind of where the comparison of those two breweries end. Where Tired Hands is cavernous, Hidden River is quaint. Where Tired Hands (or the old-management Tired Hands, I should say, to be fair) felt almost goth-like in its if-you-don't-get-it-whatever ethos, Hidden River is laid back. And where Tired Hands made people line up for hours for can releases, everything Hidden River makes is in cans (at least for now). I sampled five beers: Templum (an English Bitter that was potently refreshing and served as a nice getting-to-know-you beer), Lava Channel (a 2x IPA that was creamy, fuzzy, and sweet-tart all at once), The Satyr (another 2x IPA with an entirely different vibe--hearty, with backbone, but still bright), Glazing (potent and spicy), and Hold on Fast to Dreams. And, oh, my aching heart, Hold on Fast to Dreams. It's the Pale Ale I've been looking for all my life: golden in complexion, endearing in its softness, and demure in its effervescence--confident yet humble in appearance. Our first kiss was life-shifting, a surprisingly full-bodied beer for its petite 4.8% ABV, with worlds of flavors crashing and splashing all over my palate: fresh-squeezed orange juice, perfectly ripe pineapple, something wonderfully soothing, like lemongrass or lavender. I even think that, at one point, although I am not sure because of the delicate nature of its delivery, Hold on Fast to Dreams may have slipped me some tongue of peppery hops, but just a touch. Just enough to make me want more. Yes, the farmhouse is beautiful, the can art is gorgeous, the outdoor seating area is lovely, and whoever is doing the music is rad. The food is decent too. Everyone working there seems nice, though the service is basically you. But all those factors sort of slip away when you drink the beer. They become background. Because think about it: On really good first dates, it's not the place you want to return to. It's what brought you to the place.

Great spot for a physically distanced beer on the patio. They have a nice set-up -- you buy your beer inside then grab a glass on the way out to your table. The beer is delicious, especially if you appreciate hazy IPAs. I really enjoyed the tertiary gems & bought a 4-pack to bring home. They have light bites, or you can bring your own food to satisfy the food requirement. Looking forward to returning, especially when it's safe to be inside again (their indoor space seemed really cool).

Definitely a great spot to relax after a long week! Plenty of seating inside and outside on their deck. Plenty of beer to choose from and wine for those non beer drinkers. The food is delicious. We all ordered the Figgy Pear Panini and we were not disappointed. Such a great sandwich and the watermelon in the side was a great touch (I'm not a pickle eater so I totally appreciated it!).

I feel like I just stumbled into an some alternate universe where the beer flows like water and the people are friendly and having fun! The farmhouse maze wanders room to room with so many places to chill and enjoy good live music. No food on Sundays but you can bring your own. People have their kids here and such a diverse group of happy patrons. So magical!

Fantastic IPAs in a historic/quirky old lodge. Lovely outdoor seating in the summer. In the winter we enjoyed bringing games and hanging out with friends in one of the back rooms and then wandering around looking at all the curious relics of a former time. Great live music on (some) Sunday evenings. Will definitely try to go to one of their special events/tours in the future. Also, LOVE their collabs with Levante and La Cabra...great stuff coming out of here. We tried their food for the first time too and it was great (unsurprisingly)! *I have never had an issue with customer service here and I was just there for the third time, so this seems to be hit or miss or singular to just one employee perhaps.

Great spot for lunch! Just found out about this place a few weeks ago and loved it. Super cool atmosphere and the ghosts seemed friendly today too. Awesome to see all the history in the house. I'll try to come back for a ghost tour in the Fall!

Do they sell glasses? I saw a picture of one online but I don't remember if they had them or not

You just need to ask when there. They sell out quick. Figure they'll stock up before the holidays. Good luck.

Could not have asked for a better server than Jeffrey. I'm a foodie, details matter, get it right, don't bring me cold food or overcooked eggs- he took care to make sure we ate well. Apps were memorable- Maple Sausages, French Toast Flight, still haunt me. Sausages cooked in Maple syrup, not revolutionary but these be good, satisfying. French toast bores me- but this was deep-fried producing satisfying texture & savoriness, finished w/ berries, cream cheese, peanut butter. Monte Cristo had salty ham, gruyere, sour cherry jam on croissant- nothing really needs to be said beyond yum! Disappointed they didn't have the SPAM flight. They have both indoor dining as well as a small outdoor dining area as well. We ate indoors and our waitress Nikki took great care of us. There's also a bar inside with TVs around and we were able to watch the Flyers game while having dinner. We started with the cheesesteak egg rolls, which were really good. They pour different sauces onto the plate, which my son didn't like as he doesn't like the sauce, so would have been nice if they had just put them in dipping bowls instead. For our entrees, I went with the lobster ravioli special, my wife had the fish and chips, and my son had the steak frites. Portion sizes were large so we felt like we got our money's worth. Most ravioli dishes don't come with much, but there were 7-8 in this dish along with chunks of lobster on top in addition to what was inside the ravioli's. Although we were full, my wife and I split a tiramisu for dessert, which was good. It's rather loud inside. They have a shuffleboard outside the bathroom area and I believe billiards downstairs, although we didn't go down there. I'm glad our friend recommended the place and we will definitely be going back.
