This is NOT to discount anyone's experience but rather to let others know there are always two sides, often due to mitigating circumstances often beyond one's control. Terry was exceedingly patient and sensitive to my personal situation at the time of purchase. I had no doubt he was being honest with me and truly wanted me to experience owning a motorcycle and be safe using it. Ironically, the owners of the cycle training school (motorcycling enterprises) I went to were friends of his and recommended I talk with him. I would take my bike in at the start of every riding season to make sure it was road worthy and just before winter hit and I couldn't ride I had service check things out so if something was needed it could be done before I couldn't ride it home for winter storage. The service folks were truly awesome guys, also very honest and helpful as well as really accommodating. If people knew me; what I've been through; and that I'm super critical and hard to trust others; for me to say that I never once felt SE was out to cheat me in any way and that I had full faith in them making sure that my bike was fully safe to ride, you'd know how much I like SE and their crew. I've lost touch with Terry and I regret that. I'll blame it on 'life happens'! Fortunately, I'm still friends with the retired school owners. Found my tires on line, had them installed by rev and while he had the tires and rims off, I asked for him to check the brakes, the fronts were fine but the back needed to be replaced. Rev order and replaced the the brakes and he also said that the axle was worn and he replaced it. Once he gave me the price for the whole job it was still cheaper than the dealer, so I also asked him if he could put on a throttle lock, he found one online installed it and everything works great. Rev never found anything to try to upcharge me on like the fluid in my blinkers needed to be changed and he was very honest. I recommend going there if you want a honest mechanic.

She made an appointment for Saturday morning and when she arrived the bike had been rented out. She sent detailed pictures of her trade and explained the bike in detail. She was told $5000 trade contingent on inspection. They offered her $3400 after all of the additional BS. They said it would need to be tuned for the slip on exhaust pipes and were charging $1600 for that??? She brought the factory pipes with and explained that several times. Her bike has 7000 miles and has had regular service. I told her to walk. Avoid these d-bags, they are predatory and treated her like a number.

No surprises when I took delivery and a great deal. Battery had a decent charge and fired right up. Shipping: Haulbikes was who RTT used to ship the bike to California. The overal shipping experience was positive and Haulbikes did send me an initial ETA and email updates along the way. Haulbikes was a couple weeks later than their original ETA but that was still more than a week EARLIER than what MJ had told me to expect. MJ did a great job setting the correct expectation around shipping times. Overall a fantastic buying experience.
