Everyone has their own unique experience with anyone else whether person or entity. I was notified…read moreby Yelp that the owner wrote a note to my first rating and I took the opportunity to read a number of other comments. This is NOT to discount anyone's experience but rather to let others know there are always two sides, often due to mitigating circumstances often beyond one's control. Terry was exceedingly patient and sensitive to my personal situation at the time of purchase. I had no doubt he was being honest with me and truly wanted me to experience owning a motorcycle and be safe using it. Ironically, the owners of the cycle training school (motorcycling enterprises) I went to were friends of his and recommended I talk with him. I would take my bike in at the start of every riding season to make sure it was road worthy and just before winter hit and I couldn't ride I had service check things out so if something was needed it could be done before I couldn't ride it home for winter storage. The service folks were truly awesome guys, also very honest and helpful as well as really accommodating. If people knew me; what I've been through; and that I'm super critical and hard to trust others; for me to say that I never once felt SE was out to cheat me in any way and that I had full faith in them making sure that my bike was fully safe to ride, you'd know how much I like SE and their crew. I've lost touch with Terry and I regret that. I'll blame it on 'life happens'! Fortunately, I'm still friends with the retired school owners. As for bike issues, if you had an issue after repair remember, most accidents occur due to driver error, in operation or maintenance!

The service was perfectly decent and they seem to have good inventory, but they do NOT, under any…read morecircumstances, allow test rides on used vehicles. Which unfortunately for me is a dealbreaker.

Ian responded with ridiculously long canned text w/way too many emojis and a pushy request to CALL to speak to him all before I had even made it clear I was a real human. Via text I asked for a breakdown of price, tax, title fees, shop fees, etc. Ian made it clear again that "it works better if we talk on the phone" but sent some of the info I requested. Bike price: $8000, Shop "Reconditioning fee": $199, WI sales tax: $440, WI Title Fees were not listed but the total out the door price was "around $9200." Do the math: $1200 over the listed price ... So shady. I have seen this before at other Powersports dealers (Fuel PS, Action PS, and Cedar Creek Motorsports are all owned by the same company) who list a price that is nowhere near the out the door price to get you in the door or on the phone. "Recertification Fees or Reconditioning Fees" that are overpriced fluid changes. Padding the back end of the sale under the vague phrase "tax, title, and fees" to the tune of 15% might be common practice but it's shifty as hell. I thanked Ian via text and ended it with STOP and instead of taking the obvious hint he called (to the same # he had been texting to) and left a message stating that he had provided the info I requested as though now I owed him a phone call for the trouble and insisted I call him. I work in sales and this sort of breathing down your neck, high pressure sales technique is a great way to make good, smart customers never come back. Yuck. No way am I buying from these guys. Read the Yelp reviews! There are LOTS of them with very similar criticisms. 1/2 of the responses from Fuel PS to these reviews state that the person(s) responsible for poor service etc. have been fired...NFW they have fired 25 people over the last five years. I just don't buy it ... and neither should you. : )

I am not impressed with the quality of this Harley. Came from the factory with an oil leak that took 2 repairs to get it right. While on my first road trip the right Auxiliary light became very loose and nearly fell off. I had to remove the lamp from housing to discover that the bolt that holds the housing in place had come loose. I repaired it myself. Really ?!! $ 30k investment. Not good Harley Davidson, Not good at all. Now, 12 weeks since purchase and all the left hand controls have gone dead, check engine light stays on. Scheduled for repairs in one week. So I have lost use for at least 3 weeks. What has happened to the famous dependability of Harley Davidson that I enjoyed for 14 years?

Accident ratio's: Motor vehicle accidents involving bicycles. Motor vehicle accidents involving mopeds. Motor vehicle accidents involving Kawasaki's. Motor vehicle accidents involving Goldwings. Motor vehicle accidents involving Harley Davidson's. Etc, etc, etc. The slogan is proven 'GARBAGE'. Nowhere near having any fact to it. There is absolutely no reason why a motor vehicle with an engine block the size of a basketball, has to be heard a quarter mile away. (100+ times louder than a semi-truck 18 wheeler) You know something, ...you can have a nice quiet bike with all the chrome, leather and custom paint you want. That's a beautiful bike. Or, you can have that same shiny bike that disturbs the piece, upsets entire neighborhoods and gives the vehicle manufacturer a bad name in the eyes of the public. I'm really surprised that someone from the manufacturer hasn't stepped forward to defend their products image. If I were the C.E.O. I'd be on a news network pleading for law enforcement to write tickets on loud bikes as it tarnishes their products name. What if everyone acted so childish and stupid by running a wire from their gear shifter to their vehicle horns? That way whenever your vehicle is in 'DRIVE' or 'REVERSE' the horn would be blasting while you drive around town or on highway trips. We could call it 'Loud Horns Save Lives'. Imagine; tens of millions of vehicles all over the country with blasting horns. If that sounds ridiculous, that's because it is. But, no more ridiculous than what Harley Davidson Motorcycles are doing right now. Noise laws are on the books for a reason. They should be followed, respected and enforced by law enforcement. It's not up to any private people or industries to manipulate these laws to their liking. ___________________________________________________________ Wisconsin State Legislature: Statute 347.39  Mufflers.
