Let's start with the positives - the guys who showed up to move my things were polite, fast and…read moreefficient, couldn't have asked for a better crew. I had to reschedule my move twice because of my apartment not being ready on time they were understanding and worked with me. However, be sure to ask about all the extras in detail and don't assume like I did - my fault in part for not asking specifics and assuming a reputable company would be just that - BIG Mistake. I was charged $366 dollars for fuel and travel charges on a 12-mile move and the move they did before mine was in the same city. Then another $137.00 for supplies - tape, shrink wrap, and two mattress bags - that is unreal and again was not communicated in detail just mentioned in passing like it wouldn't be a big deal - My mistake for not asking ahead of time. They rescheduled the moves twice and the first time I was given a discounted hourly rate for being flexible, that discount was not honored in the end. The second time again I was polite and flexible with my move date being pushed out again by a week, he wanted two weeks but as soon as I said no way it was just a week. I was told I would also be a first delivery of the day, so they would come between 8-10am. That was not honored either. I called all morning after they never showed up, several times at several numbers and waited on hold, to finally speak with someone to be told we were not a first delivery as told and were second and the movers would be to my house at about 12:30pm -more than two hours after the time I was told. I just feel lied to and deceived and partly my fault for not asking for more detail and clarification, but if they are charging fees that high it should be communicated in detail before you give them your deposit. I could have hied another local company had I been told that with all these extra fees I'd actually be spending almost $500 more that just the labor costs. Don't hire them without asking for the small print to be detailed. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

They are extremely incompetent…read more I was told they not only had availability on a Sunday, but that it would be cheaper to schedule a move for a Sunday. So, that's what I did. The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Very unprofessional and honestly just plain rude. Another man who arrived asked to purchase my lawn mower that was not at all for sale. They absolutely refused to move me. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. Please please please if you value your time and you need movers go somewhere else.

After they packed our things and held them for us in Duquoin, per our request. They changed the price on me. They called 24 hours before delivery of our furnishings and told me I owed 1,300.00 more. I had already paid the majority of it ...when they packed us up. Then they showed up the the new home and told us we actually owed another 2,700.00. I was surprised and irritated over this because they had just 24 hours ago confirmed what I owed. I spoke with the guy in charge...don't know his name and he was very sorry but when he called me earlier he said he didn't have the proper paperwork in front of him when he had called yesterday and that we actually did owe the larger amount. I seldom get irritated or assertive with people but this is ridiculous. He would not let the driver and crew unload our things until we paid the amount in full. As I argued with him about his sloppy business practices our furnishings were held hostage!! Finally they gave us a small and I mean small credit and allowed the crew to unload. After unloading, as I unpacked we ran across many broken items. I understand that sometimes things get broken during a move but there is a list of about 22 items that were irreparably harmed during the move. Some were memory items my dad had made. Can't replace that.!! I would not recommend using this company unless you want poor service and a bill about 3,000.00 more than you expected to pay.
