Let's start with the positives - the guys who showed up to move my things were polite, fast and efficient, couldn't have asked for a better crew. I had to reschedule my move twice because of my apartment not being ready on time they were understanding and worked with me. However, be sure to ask about all the extras in detail and don't assume like I did - my fault in part for not asking specifics and assuming a reputable company would be just that - BIG Mistake. I was charged $366 dollars for fuel and travel charges on a 12-mile move and the move they did before mine was in the same city. Then another $137.00 for supplies - tape, shrink wrap, and two mattress bags - that is unreal and again was not communicated in detail just mentioned in passing like it wouldn't be a big deal - My mistake for not asking ahead of time. They rescheduled the moves twice and the first time I was given a discounted hourly rate for being flexible, that discount was not honored in the end. The second time again I was polite and flexible with my move date being pushed out again by a week, he wanted two weeks but as soon as I said no way it was just a week. I was told I would also be a first delivery of the day, so they would come between 8-10am. That was not honored either. I called all morning after they never showed up, several times at several numbers and waited on hold, to finally speak with someone to be told we were not a first delivery as told and were second and the movers would be to my house at about 12:30pm -more than two hours after the time I was told. I just feel lied to and deceived and partly my fault for not asking for more detail and clarification, but if they are charging fees that high it should be communicated in detail before you give them your deposit. I could have hied another local company had I been told that with all these extra fees I'd actually be spending almost $500 more that just the labor costs. Do NOT waste your time and money going to this company. They are extremely incompetent. I was told they not only had availability on a Sunday, but that it would be cheaper to schedule a move for a Sunday. So, that's what I did. The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Very unprofessional and honestly just plain rude. Another man who arrived asked to purchase my lawn mower that was not at all for sale. They absolutely refused to move me. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. We recently hired this moving company, and while the initial experience had a serious hiccup--two workers unexpectedly walked off the job mid-move--the way the company recovered and the quality of the final service turned what could have been a 1-star rating into a solid 5-star endorsement. ​The management was reasonable and swiftly provided a one-hour credit for the delay, which was greatly appreciated since moving is expensive. Most importantly, the work saved on my back was worth every penny. I found their replies to be prompt once I reached the correct contact number. ​The true heroes of this move were the remaining crew members: Myron and Lynette. No one can control what workers do, and it was clear the worker walk-off was not the owners' or managers' fault. Myron and Lynette are the definition of true customer service. They were committed to finish the job,, saying, "No matter what, if it's just us two, we are going to finish the job." That level of commitment is amazing. ​They went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed with excellent quality. They stayed and worked tirelessly until the manager arrived with two replacement workers (who were fantastic and much better than the two who left--I regret not getting their names!). ​In the end, all things wrapped up extremely well. I was completely satisfied and happy with the move. I would absolutely use this company again, and no other. The day I called to book a move, I talked to the home office and was told one price for the move. Then that Saturday when they called to confirm the appointment it was the same price. Now let get to the day of the move. They was over more the 3 hours late. It takes them over 4 hours to move 2 bedrooms and boxes . now it is after 5pm and they wanted to take a lunch break before unloading .before they started unloading they ask for the payment and informed me that my move would be more then what I was told , in which it had tripled, I was told if I could not pay they would keep my things. They would not unload my things and they was told to drive off if I did not pay. you can not talk to the home office about this due to they will send you right back to this office to speak with the one that changed the price at the time of the move. If I could rate at 0 stars, I would... I hired a "premium" (per their words) moving service to pack my belongings, load the belongings onto their truck, and unload the belongings into my new home. They damaged my former home (walls gashed in several locations / storm door trim nearly ripped off the frame) that I had to repair myself before turning over my home to the new owner. They damaged my belongings (more than 100 damages to 50-100 items and I haven't finished unpacking yet). I have taken MANY photos to document the damages. From the "service" side, they are only willing thus far to refund $650 of the ~$6000 I paid. I also must file all of my own damage claims...many many instances that will take--and has already taken--tons of my time. Anything but "premium" or professional! I chose All My Sons Moving NOT because they were the cheapest, but because they answered all my questions and put me at ease beforehand. Because they promised care for my property and belongings. Because they've been in business for three decades. Because they had ~2000 5-star reviews. If I knew I would get the same service that hiring a couple of teenagers would get me, I would have done just that. To have this level of negligence and not provide a reasonable--or full--refund is RIDICULOUS and totally disconnected from the reality of my particular experience. They quoted me 1-2 weeks in advance for $6,800 for (7) men and (2) trucks for a total of (13) hours plus (1) hour travel time. They sent (7) men and one truck on the first day--who packed ~60% of my belongings and loaded ~70% of a truck, unloading at my new home. It took (9) hours. They sent (5) men and one truck on the second day--who packed the remaining ~40% of my belongings and loaded 100% of a truck, unloading at my new home. It took (5) hours. How did (5) people do almost 50% of the overall work in (5) hours on the second day when it took (7) people (9) hours to do the other ~50% on the second day?! They charged me overtime (I.e. 1.5x) for the hour of travel on the first day, though it was THEIR fault that it took them so long. Why should I pay for their lack of organization and experience?! They packed a flimsy duffle bag with paperback books from my bookshelf. Books were bent. They used packing tape to hold drawers shut, to group IKEA cube shelves together, to hold dishes together, and to hold loose items together. The tape on some items shredded during removal while tape on other items left behind significant adhesive residue that has taken significant time to remove. They gashed numerous pieces of like-new furniture. They packed electronics (e.g. laptops, printer, keyboard) unprotected in boxes with other random knickknacks. They moved several pieces of furniture without wrapping in blankets and shrink wrap. They laid a dining table upside down on the eating surface on my basement concrete slab. They took a 45-minute break on the first day of moving to quite literally argue about how to complete the rest of the first day. I PAID for that time. That same day, they loaded a truck only ~70% full, which led to remaining items at my home after the second-day truck was packed to capacity. I had to rally a few friends with trucks to move the remaining (4) pickup truck loads of items. I bought all my own packing materials for ~$650.00 because their material costs are significantly higher. They opened multiple packages of different materials instead of using one package fully then moving to the next unopened package, etc., so I could not return several packages of tape and shrink-wrap. They used our kitchen bread loaf bags without asking. They used my Allen keys without asking...and they are still missing. I told the crew leads and crew members NOT to pack ANY hanging clothing items and they did. I told them NOT to pack all the blankets that were in a carry-able chest and they did. I told the crew leads / crews to leave clothing / towels / blankets in drawers. They said they would. They did not, which wasted their time to pack, cost of materials, and our time to unpack boxes of now-wadded-up clothing, towels and blankets. Same with hanging clothing in closets. I would recommend to anyone moving that they use ANY other company that is not All My Sons. Terrible experience. Waste of money to get their "premium" service. My sister in law was moving into my house and booked with All My Sons on Monday August 11th and drove an hour & a half to meet the movers. When they were two hours late, we called to find out where they were and they told us they couldn't come until Wednesday. No apology that they didn't even call to alert us they wouldn't be there. Apparently an employee didn't show up. We canceled with them due to poor communication and customer service. We found a better mover at a cheaper price and everything was moved in today. Horrible moving experience. I hired 4 men to move our 2bed 1.5 house. They came in all smelling of weed and high. Only 2 men moved stuff at a time. The other 2 were hiding in the truck or outside. It took them 6 hours to move our 1600 sf home into the truck. They told me they couldn't move anymore because of time. They skipped half of the boxes in the basement and attic. They damaged our bedroom floor badly, the wall, the front door and in our new house the front door, the floor and wall. When I called to tell them about the damage they ignored me. I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by All My Sons Moving. What should have been a professional and seamless process turned into an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. Their lack of organization, respect for our belongings, and poor communication made this move far more difficult than it needed to be. To begin with, we were told multiple times throughout the quote process that it would be a three day move. One day to pack, two to move. I trusted this was reflected in the quote because it was told to us over and over again, "Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday". It is my fault for not checking, but the quote only included two days and half of the materials that were used (many of the materials were improperly used or not used at all and we were still charged). Additionally, movers were constantly asking for food and drinks throughout the day. While we understand that moving is hard work, this was excessive and felt unprofessional. Additionally, the company does not handle tipping, so we were asked multiple times each day about tipping in cash--something we were not informed about beforehand. This added unnecessary awkwardness and pressure during an already stressful time. Many of these water bottles were strewn all over our house and front yard for us to pick up later. The packing process was especially disastrous. It's clear this company should not be in the business of packing at all. Wardrobe boxes were filled only a quarter of the way full of towels, wasting space and resources. Some boxes contained fragile items like glass vases placed unwrapped alongside books and other belongings, resulting in damage. Several of our items were broken, scratched, or ruined, including cherished family photos and furniture. The lack of care and attention to detail made it clear that our belongings were not treated with the respect they deserved. On top of that, the disorganized packing and labeling caused significant confusion and stress during unpacking. We are unable to find certain prescription medications after unpacking and they even showed up to our house without any sharpies or pens! Taking all of ours and not returning them. I also had to make alternative arrangements for my family, as the chaos of the move made it unsafe for my toddler to be at home. This was a major inconvenience and something no family should have to endure during a move. I expected professionalism and care from a moving company, but All My Sons failed to deliver on both counts. Their practices and lack of respect for customers' homes and belongings make it clear they are not suited for packing or moving services. They led me in by stating it was just $139 an hour for 2 men but they don't tell you that they charge you an hour for transportation then like $50 in gas, then there was something else that added up to $400. I could not stress it enough: if you care about your belongings, if you want a reasonably priced move, if you want your moving day to go smoothly and not feel creeped out by your movers... look anywhere else than All My Sons. As a business owner and service provider myself I understand that you can only get one thing: cheap, fast, or good. This move was NONE of those things. We moved out of a second floor, 2 bedroom apartment (1 bedroom plus office) into a 2 bedroom townhouse. We had just moved a year prior with a different company that took 3 hours total between loading and unloading with 3 people. All My Sons said they would only be sending 2 men, so we assumed it would be more like 4 hours. We took several trips to the new place beforehand to move the most fragile things, and then organized all of the boxes into one place to make it as easy as possible for them. Upon arrival both men noted how it "wasn't as bad as they were expecting". It ended up taking them 4 hours alone to load up the truck, and then we had to help with unloading when they arrived to the new place. What we expected to be a $800 move turned into $1000 before tip, with several broken items along the way. If the lead mover hadn't been more interested in chatting and complaining about every move he's done before, as well as complaining about all our basic (mostly IKEA) furniture, this would've been a faster move. He really went out of the way to make the second mover do most of the work. The lead instructed the second mover to stack up their dolly with 3-4 boxes at a time, and then DROP IT DOWN EACH INDIVIDUAL STEP down a full flight of stairs. I am so glad we moved the most fragile, sentimental things beforehand because my heart sank with every single "thud" down the stairs. Because of this, we've ended up with several broken plates and picture frames. They spent more care and time Saran wrapping our pillows to tables than they did with our actual furniture. I had a mirrored shelf that they dropped while loading into the truck that shattered. When I asked them to still move it because I would try to salvage it, they left it (as well as several padding materials) in front of my neighbors building. I had to go back that night to clean it up. We also had a lot of damage to our furniture that they taped shut. Several of our tables are missing the pads that were screwed into the table legs. The most cringeworthy part: While we waited all afternoon for them to load our stuff, my boyfriend had to take our car to meet the Internet people at the new place. I was planning to take an Uber, but asked if I was allowed to ride with them instead. Christian (the lead) told me they aren't allowed to give customers a ride and proceeded to tell me that the reason why is because another mover ended up getting a blowjob from a customer. My response was "well today is not your day my friend". It was incredibly awkward to be there with them by myself after that, and they definitely slowed down the pace. Once we finally got to the new place is really when Christian's patience was running thin. We ended up having to move things with them to get the day over with. Any time I asked for a piece of furniture to go upstairs (or really anywhere) I got attitude from the lead. I've emailed the operations manager (as well as anyone else's email I could find) several times now over the past week and have yet to get a response. Unfortunately I have to resort to blasting them on the internet since they clearly do not care. I don't know if we just got an overworked team on a bad day or what, but the job that was done has left us scarred and frustrated. Rating is one star based on some corrective action by an Operations Manager alone on a $1,000 discount, that LOOSELY, covers time, income and ultimately lost revenue since we were unable to return to work and had to use additional time off to ensure we moved out in time. Does not capture everything we had to spend to throw away and/or donate items you should have taken. Ultimately Jackson over promised and under delivered considerably from his initial quote for our move to the actual end result. We loved his interest and level of customer service on the front end. I did personally contact our prior moving company to give accurate weight, box count and wardrobe style boxes required. You would think we gave them the blueprint to success and it was anything but that. It was a nightmare from that point on. Jackson ended up being spineless in holding his team accountable and keeping his word. Ultimately there was an Operations Manager that stepped in to make things "right". Issues: Showed up late. Start time is 8am and somehow we started almost two hours after that. Based on weight provided and box count in advance. They slotted for two trucks and additional labor. The team that showed REFUSED to secure the additional truck after showing up late and they only brought 50 boxes!? So they had to go pick up additional boxes and they thought 20 more would be enough. It is mind-blowing and defies basic math/logic. 70 versus being told over 100 in prior moves. They packed boxes that they couldn't close so that got left off the truck because they couldn't secure it. So, your team's inability to pack into boxes is suspect and now I question what is going to be waiting for us in the storage unit to sort through. In addition to boxes they couldn't secure (I. E. Close because of how they were packed). They left bathroom and other rooms incomplete with over $600 plus of items that they could not take. Maybe because your team decided the second truck wasn't needed?!? I call this lazy and incompetent. Where is the oversight to bid to execution and keeping your customer promise. Also they had NO TOOLS to take anything apart. My boyfriend has to supply them with these things to allow for our furniture to be broken down. Again. Their inability to be prepared became our problem. Lastly, there was no communication on delivery of goods. We basically waited an entire day to have them notify us of arrival and it took 3 1/2 hours to unload a 26' trailer. Coming from running an Amazon fulfillment center and handling live loads daily. This is a joke. There was 0 communication from Jackson than his uncanny timing of having personal issues and literally ghosting us on phone calls to then stating we need to "trust him". Then he ghosted us on text entirely. If you cannot handle the heat get the hell out of the kitchen. While we appreciate the $1,000 discount; it ultimately falls short of the actual loss. We had to throw away and/or donate items we would have kept, lost $700 is gross income to our family for having to take unpaid time to stay longer, had to pay for additional disposal services and having to extend our move out time by two days which is rent we shouldn't have had to pay. We are probably $600-750 short of actually being made whole from this disaster. We set you up for success and All Sons Moving & Storage ultimately failed to follow through and provide clear communication. I am still waiting for a phone call Jackson. I could have bought on Amazon $27 1B - Clocked out at 11:45. They were done at 11:20! (Even rounding to the 11:30 - that was $50 overcharged). 1C - traveling time / they took 45 minutes to drive a 30 minute commute - again $50 overcharge. 1D / reminder me SEVERAL times need to tip -$60 extra I really shouldn't have given with other issues 2 Did not reassemble furniture . The couch was literally crooked & I asked them to fix that. 3. Did not get refrigerator into kitchen. This was 3 MEN I hired. I was able to turn in other direction & move it myself! They literally wasted 15 minutes playing with this. 4. Scratched my hardwood floor. There were NO boxes either, I did ALL of that myself. I went over every piece of furniture that was going to be taken out of my apartment. I was quoted 3.5 hours for the 2 man job. $144 an hour. Needless to say, one of the movers was not strong enough to move alot of stuff w/o a struggle. A $400 vase was broken. They only wanted to compensate $37.50 for it. That was the first insult. Took 7.5 hours to move (1080.00). $180 destination charge, 16% fuel charge $172.80 plus material $140. All total with taxes it was $1675.00. NO SIR! NO SIR! AFTER DISCUSSION, 1) never would I recommend All My Sons. 2) I , as a consumer, should not have to take the bull by the horns and 'arrange' my own moving crew with what should be a professional business. They should have sent 3 people. 3) Alot of dragging ass was done to drag out the labor time. It took 45 minutes to offload and 6 hours to load??? 4) I even unwrapped things as it came into new place to move things along. Initial quote over phone of $1,800 4 weeks before move. I specified I needed 4 men AND bigger than a 26 ft truck. Was given a "discount" rate of $259/hour. I provided a detailed inventory of my furniture, lamps, framed art, boxes etc. Have a 2 BR apt. Updated quote (one business day before move) after seeing my inventory was $2,400 (a local move). A couple hours later it was increased to $3,000. The day before the move, was told they only had one 26 ft truck, so I had to rent a 10 ft Uhaul myself. Moving day: I had already packed and moved all dishes, kitchenware. All that needed packing were lamps, tv's framed art. 4 men took 7.5 hours to LOAD the contents of my 2BR apt - but left behind all tv's, much framed art and numerous heavy boxes I could not carry! They rushed the unload in my new home, leaving an armoire wrapped w blanket and taped, as well as pieces of carpet under the feet of many pieces of my heavy furniture. Their invoice that I had to pay was $4,093!!! I had to hire another company next day to help me move all that they left behind. I asked them to please cover the $385 I had to pay and they refused. I had tipped movers $200 and provided cold drinks and lunch to the 4 men. A $4,100 price for a local 2BR apt INCOMPLETE move is outrageous and ZERO interest in working with me to remedy the situation. read more

Pricing was misleading. My per-quote that was emailed to me it states clearly as one line item: Hourly & Travel time rate - $149. What was not explained is that the charge is $149 is for Hourly and $149 is for Travel time so the rate is really $300. The moving team was great but I would check your quote closely and know you are paying travel time from whatever the first job is they have to your home. You have no control over that fee. read more

This past Friday I used All My Sons to move from a large house to an apartment due to the recent death of my spouse. I had used all my sons when we moved into the house five years ago and were very impressed and pleased. This time I was quoted 518.00for this small move. The movers themselves were wonderful. However I was charged with every piece of tape, padding, and cardboard that they used not at my request and in my opinion was not even needed. The move was only 3 miles away and as I said only a partial move. To that end my charges came to about 1200.00 dollars which was over half more than I was quoted. They insisted they sent me all of the info which must have been included in the 20 or so emails that flooded my inbox in the weeks before the move. Then I learned they are not a local company at all but are out of Texas. I feel like "bait and switch" is not even strong enough of a statement. I feel conned and duped. Lesson learned. I would not recommend ALL MY SONS to move across the street. I feel I have been badly taken advantage of. A new widower and a disabled senior citizen treated very unfairly. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I had a few large items for this company to move less than 2 miles to my new apartment - they took over 4.5 hours. They sat and talked to my boyfriend before starting the moving process as if they weren't on the clock. Was told at booking that they were able to disassemble simple bed frames which at time of service they were unable to do because they did not have basic tools to complete this task. Charged me for shrink wrap that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to protect my items. They made the SAME wrong turn 2x causing a 15-minute delay in getting to my new address (remember that I was less than 2 miles from my old address). My boyfriend had to run down to the block in order to prevent them from making the same wrong turn for the third time. I have damaged furniture and the walls of the communal hallway are severely damaged. As they finally finished (they left the heaviest part of my sectional for us to move around the block to our back entrance) the driver haggled my boyfriend for a tip. If the service, professionalism, and timeliness of the movers were adequate, I would have been happy to tip. They offered $220 for my damaged sectional, dresser and the extensive damage to my building's hallway that I now have to fix. I sent customer service a long-detailed email regarding my experience which they have still yet to address, and I doubt they will. Almost $800 with a $100 deposit was not worth the service provided. If you want a moving company to actually follow through and show up, DO NOT USE this company. I was informed 3 days before the move that they were overbooked and they could not move me on my scheduled day- but they would be happy to move me the following week. Well we all know that when buying houses, that is not how that works. The guy was extremely rude and was not willing to help me find a replacement or anything to help rectify the situation. I can not strongly say to stay away from these people. Never use this moving company. Complete criminal sham company. I called and set up move date a month in advance. I paid the $100 deposit. I answered all their questions regarding items to be moved and agreed to their terms. 2 young men showed up and began moving me. the weather outside was sunny but cold. the day before it had snowed and was very cold. the ramp they brought was iced up from day before. they hadn't checked the equipment before arriving to move me. they said they would have to reschedule my move and pulled away with me in tears. I called office in tears and a woman screamed at me because I was crying and hung up on me. I had to find another mover - dielman movers - use them they're fantastic. i called and Anthony guess promised my $100 deposit return had been processed. nope. complete lie. haven't received it. the whole operation they're running is awful. don't even consider them. waste of time and they stole my money and didn't do the job. read more

My move was scheduled to be 8am on a Saturday. They called later that morning and told me they would be rescheduling the move because 2 of their trucks had dead batteries and they had some employees call in. I was told my move was rescheduled to the next day, first thing in the morning. They told me I would be top priority. The next day came and apparently that message was not passed along. I again arrived at the residence I was moving from (a 45 minute drive from where I was now staying, so I had to get up early to get out there in time). I arrived and ended up waiting all day. They called me that morning to ASK me what time my move was scheduled for that day. I told them I was promised I would be first thing at 8am due to the previous day's inconvenience. I was told that message did not get passed along. I received very occasional updates giving me more and more excuses (more dead batteries on trucks, other moves taking longer than expected, a mover was injured on the job and had to go to urgent care, etc.). Throughout the day I called and remained on hold for what totaled to several hours. I was 5 months pregnant and spent the whole day sitting on the floor of my packed up house with no food around as I waited for them to arrive at some point as their policy stated if you are not at the residence when the truck arrives they will leave. They finally arrived around 7pm. I will say they moved things out quickly and efficiently. However, when it came time to leave and head for the destination the movers apparently had the wrong address. I followed their truck to make sure they eventually got on the right course. They were heading southwest when we should have been heading northeast. I tried to call and let them know they were going the wrong way, but their phone was off. As I followed them I noticed a VERY strong odor of marijuana coming from the truck. I honked my horn and flashed my brights for 20+ minutes trying to get their attention to let them know they were heading the wrong way. They finally stopped when they came to a dead end on a 2 lane road. They called me and I told them they had been heading the wrong way for awhile and I had been trying to get their attention. They then followed me to the correct location which was now about over an hour away as a result of their unnecessary detour. When we arrived at the new house I smelled marijuana on the movers as they brought in my belongings. By 11pm on a Sunday night the move concluded. A SCAM! Zero stars! Do NOT hire! Truck got "lost" for an hour even though it only had to 5 miles and driver had google maps on his phone. Driver arrived, took a quick smoke break and then demanded payment before the truck was unloaded which made zero sense since the job was quoted per hour. We were originally quoted $500 and they wanted to charge $615. This was a one room job - moving my grandmother from one memory care facility to another. The manager (Casey) threatened my mother that he would tell the movers to drive away with all of my sick, elderly grandma's belongings inside if we didn't pay upfront. During the move in process, a lamp was broken. Also during the process, the driver asked for reassurance that he was getting a tip. What a joke! RUN RUN RUN from this moving company. I had them to my home several times before signing a contract and giving them a 10K deposit. We hired them to move us from STL to Wyoming. Our agreement was for Wed July 27, 2022 to pack a truck and unload on Sat. On Monday July 24 I called them 4 times to confirm the time they would come on Wed. After 4 more messages on Tuesday we finally spoke to Casey. He explained that they could not do our move in 10 HOURS. He had the very rude, unprofessional, unsympathetic owner, Shawn, call us back. They LIED and said that the guy who was going to drive the truck was in the ICU after being in a car accident. After begging them to please help us since we were supposed to move in less than 24 hours the solution was we could rent a UHAUL (at our expense) and they would send over 3 guys to help us load the truck. The following morning 3 men did come over and helped us load the truck. Along with a multitude of our friends and family. I will give them credit, they did work hard, but the packing was terrible and it was obvious they had no idea what they were doing. The contents of our home did not fit into the 26 foot UHAUL leaving us to have to rent a storage unit back in STL until we can fly back and move the rest of our stuff out to Wyoming. Making a 2nd very expensive drive back to STL only to have to do a 2nd cross country move. We are still awaiting the refund of the 10K deposit. My main issues were that our couch was left in an unstable way with damage to multiple points, our door was taken off with permission but was not replaced, multiple boxes were in rooms that weren't indicated on their labels, labels such as heavy/fragile/do not stack on weren't paid careful attention to consistently. Boxes were left stacked on furniture that wasn't supposed to have boxes stacked on it, the crew were asked to use a blanket over the grass to not track dirt inside or to damage the grass but the carpet has a lot of dirt on it after the movers left. They were kind and we enjoyed working with them at the time but the way our house was left makes me very unlikely to recommend them to a friend especially considering how high the price was when compared with competitors. We expected experienced movers that were organized, especially after how organized the walk through/quote process was and our experience did not live up to our expectations. Warning Warning Women and Single Women be aware, All My Sons will take advantage of you! All My Sons moved my best friend and I wouldn't call it moving. Let's start out by saying she "hired" All My Sons and it appears they employ people with NO skills, taking advantage of single women with no men overseeing the process! Examples would be blocking the entrance with boxes to her bedroom and her closet so she couldn't enter. Her clothes she had hung previously were now on the floor when she was able to make it through, now what they made a war zone. Not to mention, because she's a single female, she had to move the heavy items herself they displaced, cutting her leg! They dumped all of her boxes and belongings throughout her new house. The new house that was freshly painted, now has dents, nicks, scratches and peeling! This was because they were not careful, nor respected this was someone's home. Why would people do this unless they were not accustom to home ownership, upkeep and costly repairs as now has occurred, keep reading. Losing screws, where they were unable to put pieces of furniture together, as they had unassembled by themselves, saying they didn't know where they had misplaced, thus blaming my friend saying, they only worked with what they found! They damaged her work from home computer equipment. There are now scratches, she now has to explain to her employer. Vertical blind panels, damaged two of the inserts where they can't click in to hang. One of the inserts looks shredded. We all know how this looks! Now, let's move onto her aluminum blinds, with their clumsy non professional skills they damaged these as well. These must be fully replaced, these can't be bent back into place! They also damaged her new bedroom furniture she hasn't had for long. They cracked the wood on two these pieces. Fragile items, don't worry about labeling your items, this is NOT relevant to a company like this. How does this happen? Let's start out with training? Really, a company of this magnitude lacks training its people! They won't train their people but they will take your money! Save yourself time and money ($1000 - moving cost PLUS thousands of other dollars based on their damage and reckless behavior) especially females and single females because this company looks at that as a target. This moving company is ridiculous, they moved my 723 sqft apt 5 blocks away and charged me 2100.00 dollars and then held my belongings ransom and told me I had to pay that amount or they'd leave me with no furniture. I understand that I need to pay for services and I fully intended to. But getting quotes for 900 dollars and then being charged 2100 is a bit of a jump. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They still have not provided me with a receipt and the company itself refuses to reply to any email or phone call I've made. read more

Overall, they did an okay job. They moved heavy items and did not damage my furniture or my new house. There were a few issues though. Our time got pushed back without notice. We had to call and find out, which we did get an inconvenience hour and a half shaved off. So, that's fine. The remaining issue is we ran out of time and the movers just started dumping boxes and furniture in our garage to save time. I don't think that would have happened if we started on time. Lastly, the movers had their own furniture in the truck that a previous customer didn't want. We ran out of room in the truck, which I don't think would have happened if they used that space to pack our items from storage. Not the end of the world, but I did have to make three trips with my truck to get the rest and that really sucked. I don't know. I probably won't use them again. read more

I called them filed an incident report sent picture they wanted to pay me 175.00 that does not cover any of my bids. No one would call me back to discuss this. If I could zero stars I would. I only went with this company because they're local and I wanted to support a small local operation. Instead I realize now this place is a bunch of scammers trying to make money but not actually move. I should've trusted the bad reviews that said they would intentionally go slow to raise the rate. But again wanted to support local. I can now officially say: NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. I made a deposit for my move on October 29 to move on November 18. A week before my move date I had to reschedule to the 21. I called, they confirmed, they had my deposit, everything is good to go. Flash forward to the day of the move and it's 2pm and all my stuff is sitting here waiting for this company to show up. I call and am told I didn't pay the deposit. That's not true of course so then I get transferred to a "manager" who simply tells me sorry it is what it is and we can't move you until December 6. Is that a way to do business? Take peoples money and then suddenly you can't find them on the schedule. I've never experienced anything like this in my life from a company. Disgusting. read more
