There is ample parking in the parking lot, when you enter someone's always there to say hello and it's my recommendation that you accept their offer to help you find what you're looking for... at least the first few times until you get your footing. They have snacks too. There are some other good supplement resources housed inside grocery stores but this is all Shirlyn's specializes in, your good health.

They have amazing selections on everything, great fresh produce, a salad bar, soup bar, olive bar, deli area, fresh premade salads and fruit/veggies. There also seating on the second story to enjoy your lunch from the cafe or from the soup/salad bars. There is an awesome & unique seafood section with all the amazing seafood you could need, including scallops, octopus, lobster tail, shrimp, fish and so much more. The butcher shop is also incredibly fresh and tasting looking. Even the prepackaged meats are so red & juicy. I found everything I needed here and more than I knew I needed! Cheeseballs, cheese curds, an amazing selection of unique pepper jelly's, and great seasonal items. While this is a bit out of my way, I definitely will continue to shop for the freshest meats, produce and seafood here. It's a bit pricier than Smith's and other local grocers but the cleanliness, customer service and overall quality of fresh foods make it totally worth it!

Consistently Broken Checkout System and Dishonest Shipping Practices…read more I have made multiple purchases from this company, and their shipping practices have been consistently terrible. On three separate orders, I intentionally selected and paid extra for expedited shipping because I learned early on that standard shipping takes an unreasonably long time. Each time, I carefully chose faster shipping at checkout, only to later discover that the order was processed with their slow, standard shipping instead. Customer service eventually admitted that their website has a known glitch where if you go back or forward during checkout to review your order, the system automatically reverts the shipping method to standard shipping. This is a known issue that has apparently existed for some time, yet it still has not been fixed. When I contacted customer service about my most recent order, I was treated as though I did not understand what shipping option I selected. I was then sent a screenshot of the internal invoice showing the downgraded shipping method. What was even more disturbing was that the internal notes on the invoice labeled me as "abusive" simply for being upset about repeated shipping errors and delays. Instead of fixing a broken checkout system and honoring the shipping options customers select and pay for, this company shifts blame to the customer and documents complaints as misconduct. If you value accurate order processing, honest checkout systems, and respectful customer service, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I had extra single flavors of the shakes that i wanted to use and had best by dates of 2028-2029 and i got these in 2024-2025 so i made them in the shaker bottle as usual and for some reason they continuously kept tasting, bitter, metallic and not the good taste that i expected like before. I contacted the company not really expecting a return or an exchange but just really to let them know their product is not lasting 4 to 5 years as stated. I let them know that I will not be re-ordering and canceling my subscription due to the uncertainty of the freshness of their product upon getting it and spending money on it that I may not be able to get back depending on how much time goes by, by the time I drink the shakes, i wondered if they take old or close to expiring product and repackage it and put a different date on it, I am not saying that's what they're doing, but it did cross my mind. I don't understand why these shakes have recently been bad when the expiration is not due for another three or four years. I know that this can happen, but it's weird that every shake that I've had recently has been bad. I have read about this before with other people, but didn't think that I would also experience it.

On May 30, 2026, at 8:45 a.m., I shopped at Trader Joe's in Draper, Utah. After checking my…read morereceipt, I realized that I had been charged for 22 cans of fish, even though I only had 20 cans in my cart. A very young cashier reluctantly and slowly counted the cans, appearing to have an attitude of, "Why do I need to do this?" When he realized there were only 20 cans, he corrected the receipt and simply said, "It's OK!" Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, a simple "Sorry, I made a mistake" would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling as though I had done something wrong by bringing the error to this 'oh-so-cool' cashier. I replied, "It is not OK," and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager also appeared completely uninterested in the situation. Again, there was no apology - nothing. She simply said, "OK," gave me an "I couldn't care less" look, and made me feel as though I was creating unnecessary commotion over a trivial issue. A warning to customers: Count your items and review your receipt carefully. A friendly suggestion to management: Since some members of the store's leadership appear not to know how to handle customer concerns professionally, additional customer service training may be beneficial. Cashiers should also be trained to demonstrate at least a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. Finally, it would be nice if Trader Joe's added self-checkout lanes. While I believe it is very important for stores to provide employment opportunities in an age of increasing automation, experiences like this make it easy to understand why many customers prefer self-checkout over interactions with careless and discourteous staff.
