Nice store! Clean, upscale atmosphere, organized. You will pay a little more for some items here, but that's like saying you will pay a little more for a gourmet hamburger. At all Harmons stores, it is always a pleasure to shop. They have items that you do not find at other grocery stores. They have an upscale deli that has many delicious items. The bakery is great and they have a bread slicing service for free with any of their loaves. Their gift section is actually very nice with wonderful products. They have a whole large wall-like display by the cash registers of nothing but gourmet chocolates. Everything they do here is top notch. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I've been frustrated with the harmons for years but we still shop here because it's so close to our house. I picked up a package of sushi today. The roll was SOOOO thin that I couldn't even pick it up with chop sticks without the pieces completely falling apart. I used to be full before I could finish the plate. Not anymore. My actual review would be a 3.5 but since I can only rate on whole stars I'll round up to the 4. The quality of the produce and bakery items is always on point. Just great stuff. The salad bar is just so good. They also provide a decent variety of higher end items. The staff is also consistently helpful and friendly. The downside. Of all the options for grocery stores in the valley this is consistently one of the most expensive. Yeah you get some nice added luxury for it. They are nice stores with some premium items and staff that cares. But it also means the non premium items are all 20-30% higher in cost than at other stores. Is it worth it? Eh, in my book probably not though my family does go to Harmons for specific items because of the quality. When we are going for the every day canned and packaged items you can get most anywhere we head to a less expensive chain. If you can afford the added costs enjoy the chain. Tried to buy a bag of chips with the sales price of $1.99 listed on the shelves, but of course the system bring it up and double that. Tried to get the employees to assist, but they were helpless. I'm specifically reviewing the food court today. I eat here 1-2x a week for the past 5 years. My office is a block away. I LOVE it and will continue to eat here. Their salad bar is top notch. Harmon's is a great grocery chain, however each location is different from the other. Our location that we use most is really creative with seasonal items and stock. But I haven't had the consistency in other places. Thankfully I have seen some improvement with sales on food items throughout the store because they are known to be more pricey than other chains. read more

I stopped by Harmon's to get a couple heirloom tomatoes, burrata cheese for a thanksgiving day appetizer and I thought if I get a loaf of sourdough and have it sliced to a 7, that make for a nice handheld snack. Bread toasted up nicely, laid out a slice of yellow heirloom tomato with topping of burrata, fresh basil leaf and a drizzle of balsamic with a light drizzle of nice olive oil. The young lady was helpful and answered my questions about if the 7 was too thin. All in all the perfect foodie buying bread experience. Their sourdough has a nice crust and a perfect bite. I had some tonight with my soup. Everywhere you look in the bakery is filled with temptations like cookies, donuts, fancy fruit custard pies, traditional pies and in the cold cases they have macaroons, cakes, cheesecake etc. just easy going staff making the shopping experience relaxed and enjoyable. I love the is HARMONS it is my local go to for most items I need. Everything is organized and they always have great vegan and gluten free options for me which is a must for any grocery store I go to. Makes me not feel like such an outsider with my weird diet. Love that it's a small business locally owned and has grown and expanded. Also love that they sell flowers, succulents, other beautiful home decor. I would love to get my candles to be sold in these wonderful stores. #goals if you're curious the candle company is called be light candle co for being by light figuratively and metaphorically. I have shopped here for years but have seen a real decline int customer service and management. I have discovered Smith's and Trader Joe's and the customer care is exceptional at these stores compared to Harmon's. They want your money but don't care about the customer. When I've reached out to, corporate (Jordan) they simply give lip service and gaslight the customer. It used to be much better. Stretch your budget and try out Smith's, Trader Joe's or even Walmart. FYI, notice from day to day the ever changing prices at Harmon's. Coffee can go up 4 or 5 bucks in one day??? Dishonest! I am here at 7:10 am on the morning of graduation needing balloons for my son. I am at the Harmons in 11400 South 700 East. They do not open until 7:00 am and for working people that is not early enough. However, that's not even the worst. There are two high school graduations within 2 miles from here today and the manager just told me she would not fill balloons up for me because they don't open that part of the store until 9:00 am. The store is overpriced as in and there. Customer service has gone down the drain. I will not be coming here and don't recommend to other people. Spend your time going to the three other grocery stores within 2 miles from this location. read more

I have been going to this Harmons for the past 10 years. I don't mind paying much higher prices because the store and its staff has been amazing. It seems that has changed. I usually will stop by on my way home from work (between 5 and 6). I have noticed for the past three months or so the quality and gone done. I have liked the salad bar but today found many items gone as well as the popular dressings. I alerted an employee and she told me to 'go tell the Deli as they are supposed to keep it up'. I said NO, I did not work there, she did. Needless to say, she ignored me. Don't expect any of the breads in the bakery as they are all gone by 5:00 pm. same with other bakery items. The prices have also gone up considerably. Time to find a new grocery store. read more

I love Harmons most of the time. This locations meat department needs help with both customer service and quality. Overall great store. The guys in the meat department avoid eye contact with almost any one needing help. It looks like they are always busy working on something other than customers. The roasts are cut 1/2 assed lately and we had terrible cut pork ribs. Unusable. Produce department is really great! I love the pre- cut veggie and the people are super friendly. Cashiers are super pleasant. Rarely do they let the lines get long. Front end Managers are very attentive. read more

My new favorite grocery store! Such a huge Harmon's, with a large seasonal gift section so you can pick up cute things for the holidays or a baby gift at this one-stop shop. First time I've ever done this but since it is 2020, pre-ordered my entire Thanksgiving meal online through their deli and it. was. amazing. Super easy process, got my pick of date and times for pickup and it was seamless at the store. They mixed up my pie order but exchanged it no problem. Everything so easy to prepare and delicious. I only had to make appetizers and cook the (seasoned and prepped) turkey. Love supporting a local grocery store and so glad to have found this one. read more

Yeah, you...the criminal who pulls in to the front drive-through zone to retrieve a tank of propane since - well - since the propane tank cage is right there at the mouth of the drive-through area and - well - you've only done that a zillion times before! Oh, no, YOU'RE the criminal now and Mr. eShop Polizei Commandant is just ready and waiting to chastise you for parking there...if only after turning on your flashers...running into the store to purchase a replacement tank...and running back out to wait for the bag boy to open the cage to make the illicit exchange in broad daylight...taking maybe an entire 3 minutes! Oh no, YOU are the criminal because you are blocking access to all of the OTHER eShoppers who are backed up for miles trying to get into those tiny two lanes to retrieve their groceries from zer Commandant! In fact, zer Commandant will even be rude to you and inform you - abruptly - that you have no business parking there as it is ONLY for eShoppers! Hmmm, really? Even when this happened to me a month ago and when there was only one lady waiting in her mini-van 20 yards ahead of me, and when I came back out after paying she was gone and there was NOBODY left...but me. And where I parked I only took up one of two lanes and was in no way blocking access to all of the other folks trying to get in there...oh, that's right...there wasn't anyone. But that wasn't good enough for Mr. eShop lane Commandant who made it a point to be rude and inform me that where I was parking was ONLY for shoppers. Well, I responded that I was a shopper and was placing my new tank in my car when he thought that being rude again was the appropriate response to my presence. Where do they find these guys? OK, so after loading the tank and parking back out in the main lot, I went in and 'pulled a Karen' at the Service Desk and asked to speak to someone in charge. I got Mr. Tony...who may be an assistant to the assistant sub-manager but really, was in no way ready to hear about what happened out there in HIS eShop lane. In fact, in a very condescending way, he said, "Gee Mr. D, I know that your feelings were hurt..." but really? He said my feelings were hurt? No, Mr. Tony...I just got some really lousy customer service by someone on his staff (?) and I thought - being a repeat customer at that store since it opened - someone of 'authority' should know about it. Based upon his reaction, Mr. Tony probably wasn't (and how are these folks trained anyway?) because even he failed to grasp the importance of good customer service and the proper way to treat customers. But now EVERYONE there at this Harmons knows what happened that day, and to all you customers...NEVER ever drive through the pick-up lane unless you're an eShopper or have requested pick-up. Probably not going to patronize this place anytime soon...and especially not for Propane. read more

A lot of recent bad reviews are because people don't want to wear masks? Really? They have signs in front saying they still require it so if you don't agree, don't shop here. I happen to purposely shop here because they do. I appreciate the extra cleaning procedures and mask mandate that keep my family safe after losing several friends to Covid. No I wont wear a mask over my nose. It took three un-informed employees and a manager to finally push me over the edge, and I will gladly never step foot in another Harmons again! I was informed that the mask I was wearing was not covering my nose sufficiently. Thanks for information. However once you started to reverse my check-out you stepped out of line. I wear my mask as a courtesy. I get tested monthly since I had Covid in June. I have had strong antibodies ever since. Some people, like the ones at this Harmons location seem to take the CDC recommendations to far and enforce their personal belief (not policy). As a result Harmons has lost my business and most the people I know are on board. Im not here to argue the effectiveness of masks, only the validity of this level of incompetents, knowledge, and policy. read more

Such a nice store! I've only been to Draper, Brickyard, Sandy, Downtown and Immigration. They're all extremely pleasant shopping experiences. Prices are a premium. Diametrically opposite from the early '70's when I would drive to Ft. Union with my mother, aunt and cousin from Millcreek because their prices couldn't be beat. That trek was much different back then than it is today. Worked as a bagger at Brickyard when I was 15 and a half. I lasted 6 months but only because I could do better elsewhere. I remember the head checker Sue ran a tight ship and was every bit willing to do the work she expected from everyone under her charge. Same for the store manager, Darrel. Darrel was busy, serious and friendly. Knew my name and used it whenever he saw me. Rolled up his sleeves when there were things to be done. Went on to become a VP or something. Last time I was at the Draper location, they had a Jackfruit for sale. I mention that, not because I bought it but because I've never seen one anywhere else. I suppose they likely have a dozen brands to chose from when a recipe calls for capers... Best grocery bakery around. Deli, too. Produce is nice. Lots of non-food items available, too. I don't know what things are like now. I do know that if they were closer to me, I'd go there just as frequently as I used to. Seems like a great Utah brand. Harmon's is one of the best grocery stores in our area, and while this is not in a location that's particularly handy for me, I have found myself here a few times. Like all Harmon's it's open, light and clean, and I've never experienced anything different at any other store location either. Staff is friendly too and always make it a good personal experience. For me, Harmon's is one of the best places to get good produce, meats and deli items. They have a good bakery too. I also love that they have so many organic and non-GMO products and that they mark them clearly. Harmon's also generally have a decent selection of ethnic foods and items that are hard to find at most other grocery stores, and things that otherwise I would often have to go somewhere like Pirate-O's to find. Sure the prices are a little more than some grocery chains, but for the quality of produce you get and the friendly service I feel it is worth it and with all the organic products and great produce you still come out paying less than going to a Whole Foods. One final thing I love about Harmon's is you never wait in line long because they always staff the checkouts so well. read more

Loved this Harmon's. They sliced my deli meat the exact way I like it. They held an all natural tri tip in the back for me. It was lovely! They staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Samples were being passed out in the front that totally sold my boyfriend on some berry taffy. The store was clean and well organized. For our first time at this location things were easy to find. The store had a well planned out floor plan. If you're looking for a quality grocery store that's fully stocked with organic and gluten free options, and you don't want to drive all the way to cottonwood or SLC for Whole Foods this is your one stop shop. As a self-proclaimed fanboy of Harmon's, I'm sort of ashamed to admit that I was only sorta-kinda aware that this location existed before visiting a few times last week. This store sits on 114th South, and if you're not headed up into southeast Sandy/Draper area, you're not going to know it's there. It's far enough from I-15 that you just don't think about it, what with the behemoth Harmon's location right off of the Interstate on Bangerter. Yet, there it sits. An oasis of grocery--animal, vegetable, mineral soaps. Bakery, produce, deli. The layout is very similar to the 7th East location just 40(ish) blocks north at 78th. It's a generous size store, without being massive. It's surrounded by strip mall goodies. Some are the expected sandwich and pizza chain, but there are some unique finds. But that's just it in this little island of retail--it's kinda isolated. I mean, you only have to go a few blocks down the hill to I-15 for more shopping goodies (and up State to 106th for retail bonanza) but I kinda like the hidden Harmon's here on 114th. read more

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is referring to when they say that Harmon's is "totally" a certified organic store. Many of the products Harmon's sells are organic, but they never purport to sell organic everything. They sell a quite a lot of organic produce, and they have a Healthy Living section with many organic products. But to go in thinking that an entire grocery store is organic is a little naive. They have an excellent bakery (their donuts are very good), and Harmon's is the only grocery store that I know of in Utah that ages some of its prime beef in-house. The store itself is beautiful. They make their own gelato in-house and they have a pretty nice coffee bar. Their floral section is steps above any other grocery florist. My only gripe with Harmon's: without fail, every time we shop there, we leave with at least one mispriced item, which we have to go to customer service to have corrected. They seriously need to get their scanning department up to speed, because they have a ton of mispriced items. Don't expect to get Macey's, Walmart, or WinCo's prices at Harmon's. You pay a bit more to shop there, but you get experienced staff and quality products in return. read more

My family and I have shopped at Harmons for years but have decided to stop shopping there in the future. I walked in to Harmons with my wife to shop for a family gathering. About five steps into the store we were ambushed by an angry employee who began talking about masks and how we were not going to be allowed in the store without one. She was very rude and kept talking non-stop until she had finished an angry diatribe of which I'm positive her employer would not approve of. My wife had already put her mask on and I was getting mine out of my pocket. After walking about ten more steps my wife said "you know, this isn't the only place to buy groceries". We left our cart in the isle and will never return to Harmons. I was sharing the experience later on with my daughter and found out that the same woman had scolded her the day before when her mask had slipped below her nose while she was pushing a full cart. She and her family also left their carts and decided never to go back. I'm proud that I raised a daughter who won't be pushed around by misguided people. I just hope more customers will also decide to send the same message. read more

I will never step foot in another Harmons... there employees are rude and inconsiderate I was in the store for less then 10 minutes get 3 things with my 15 month old niece and the employee literally followed me through the store and harassed me because my mask was not being worn how she thought it should be .... my friends and family will no longer shop in any Harmons and I hope that when the pandemic is over you guys get a rude awaking because I am sure I am not the only one that was treated this way .... your fears are not everyone's fear and you all are not the neighborhood market you are over priced on everything read more
