Highly recommend , I had an old injury in my hamstring 9 years ago and it just never healed properly . I would get spasms in my hamstring and then would radiate down to my knee which then flares up my arthritis. Well at my first appt . I was amazed how much better I felt . This post is LONG over due! I feel like she saved my life. I have been seeing Dr. Park for a few months now. Originally I went in to be treated for some serious tendinitis is my right hand. During that time I was feeling very depressed because my hand prevented me from working or just doing normal day to day things like getting dressed, washing dishes, doing laundry etc... I was also in physical therapy at the time but the pain in my hand was preventing me from making much progress. I honestly felt hopeless, but after a few visits with Dr. Park I began to make major strides in my recovery. Eventually I began treatment on my upper back as well. I have had upper back problems for years! From my years studying in college, the demands of my current job, and having a larger bust were all working against me. I noticed major changes in my back and shoulders once she started treating me. But for some reason I was still having tension issues in my back as well as some flare ups in my hand here and there. Dr. Park decided to run some tests on me (sort of like a physical) and she figured out that I may be having issues in my gut, as well as dealing with some major inflammation in my body due to my diet (which at the time I didn't think was very bad but apparently I was wrong ), and she believed I was dealing with parasites and bad bacteria. She prescribed a course of treatment with supplements as well as a 21 day detox. When I tell you I couldn't believe the results, I literally mean I couldn't believe it! Not only had the pain decrease substantially, but I was also sleeping better, my bloating (that I've always dealt with and could never get rid of) went away, my random acne breakouts were subsiding, I literally didn't feel like my upper back was puffy anymore... all of these things I had dealt with for ALL of my adult life. No more fatigue throughout the day, my mood got so much better, just literally everything that regular doctors said was "only stress" started to go away. I am a 35 year old woman, I work out (strength train) 3-4 times a week, and I couldn't understand why my body felt like it was failing me... especially these last few years. Injury after injury, no sleep, constant bloated no matter how much I'd exercise I really wasn't showing any definition in my muscles... my hair was falling out... so much stuff going wrong. But during that 21 day detox it was like I came out of all the brain fog, no more pain in my hand, substantially less pain in my back, even my periods (which have always been outrageously heavy) became lighter and less bothersome. I had gone back in for another appointment 3 weeks ago, and we determined that I am clear of all parasites, and then I had explained my hair loss to her and how after the detox it started to grow back a little bit. She did another test on me and determined that my thyroid may be underperforming. I had seen a doctor about it not too long before I spoke to Dr. Park about it, and I was told it was just stress and that my labs came back with normal levels. Dr. Park prescribed a course of treatment for my thyroid and my hair stopped falling out, and started growing back. I can't tell you all how much her help has saved me. I went from a person who felt like nobody was listening to me about my ailments and blaming it all on stress... making me feel crazy... to now a person who feels like she's FINALLY recovering. FINALLY being actually treated without chemical medications, and most of all WITH compassion. Dr. Park and her husband are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Dr. Park has shown me a level of compassion I've never experienced, and I am so grateful to her for everything she's done for me. If you are having pain, or have seen multiple doctors for ailments that they don't have answers to, or if you're just looking for an alternative medicine without all the chemicals and outrageous costs, PLEASE see Dr. Park. Having had acupuncture treatments for 40 years in various cities and doctors, I was disappointed with the following: - I filled out a lengthy new patient form. The Dr never inquired about my concerns. I don't know if she looked at it? - It felt like she was in a rush. As a new patient, I was expecting some conversation to get to know me, my history and concerns. She chatted with me for less than 10 seconds, then asked me to disrobe for my procedure. - As she prepared to insert her needles, she didn't clean my skin with rubbing alcohol wipe to prevent infection. I asked her about this, and she said oh, do you want me to do that? This is a step that ALL acupuncturists do! - While I was laying with the needles in me, she rushed in to check with me, and rushed out. - When we were done, she only asked if I was ok, I said yes and she left. - Sadly, I was able to overhear the man at the front desk yelling at her, scolding her on something she was doing wrong for insurance forms. She kept meekly apologizing as he kept bullying her. I'm assuming he's her husband? Very uncomfortable to be able to overhear this (that's how loud he was, where I can hear the details). After reading reviews about how so many people have had positive experiences with this practice, I was hopeful in getting about getting an appointment. After several attempts to reach them, I was very disappointed to find that they allowed the phone to ring and ring and even when I left a voicemail, they didn't respond. I eventually got through when I called from a different phone number, and they mentioned they're not accepting new patients at this time. It would be nice to return phone calls of those seeking care--I hope that's a practice they can improve upon for those searching. read more

I've been suffering with spinal stenosis resulting in sciatic nerve pain to the point I have barely been able to sit, stand or walk for periods of time.
