1 star I had a very disappointing experience at Harmony's Nail Salon. I initially hesitated after seeing some negative reviews and unfortunately regret not trusting my instincts. My manicure was poorly done. My nails were cut extremely short, and when I questioned the length, I was told it would cost extra to make them longer--even though they were barely past my fingertips. They ended up looking like press-on nails, which was frustrating, especially since I came in to treat myself for Christmas. The pedicure was even worse. It was painful, and despite clearly stating that I only wanted my toenails trimmed slightly, they were cut completely down to the skin. I never wear my nails that short, and the result was uncomfortable and unacceptable. This experience ruined my day, especially since I had an event to attend afterward. Typical nail salon. Very pretty inside and everyone is super friendly. They have wine which is a great touch! I wanted a gel manicure last time I went, but I got talked into the dip, so I caved and tried it. I'm sure as a female you know what this is. Literally dipping your nail in a colored powder. Not really sure why it costs so much since the powder does all the work? I feel like I've had better experiences at other salons, but this one is right behind my house. I was a walk in for a pedicure 65 for deluxe pedi. I picked out a color-I got orange instead of pink. Bill was 80 dollars for gel nail polish-I wasn't notified of up charge. Now I can't get the damn gel polish off, Had to go to another salon back home in California-they had to take the gel nail polish off with a dremel sander tool!!! OH yeah they burned my toe with the curing light for the gel polish I never was asked if I wanted in the first place. read more

Kim is so good to me! Everyone here does a great job. Today is no exception, my nails always last (I'm a nurse) and I love the powder dip, and I'm picky about the shape and expect my nails to look perfect. I've gotten a couple good manicures here so I really wanted to give this place a chance but I went in yesterday I made this appointment a week in advance like I always do and end up having to sit and wait for 15+ minutes to be talked to. I had small butterfly decals on my nails from my previous visit, the nail tech then told me she couldn't get them out... I don't understand that at all and she insisted she will just paint over it which she did and you can still see through it and it looks absolutely terrible. She cut my nails too short when I asked her to please not and the acrylic isn't even it is lumpy. I am very disappointed as I was excited to finally get my nails re done. read more

I had a pedicure last week and when I got home noticed that the cost was $5 more than normal. I called them and was told the prices hadn't gone up but because they did a scrape on the heels, it was $5 more. Why not tell people this is an extra service with an extra charge at the time, rather than surprise them when the charge comes through? I won't be back! Talented Nail Tech (Kim) is the the owner of a terrible, unprofessional, mess of a salon. I agree with previous reviews. Since I live across the street, I gave it a try and was lucky to have Kim work on my nails the first time. The next time, a terrible tech cut me and left me with sloppy nails. When I tried to complain it was lost in translation. The staff traded off with up to 4 people working on my hands and feet. I was tired of explaining. I quickly learned if I want good nails, wait for Kim. She's friendly and funny but can't seem to hire good help. Since I'm charged the same whether she does them or not I make an appointment with her. Why a 1 star rating after such beautiful nails the last time? She's cancelled my appointment for the last THREE times. Each time, they waited until I come in to the shop in order to tell me she won't be in (although I left my number). As though I wouldn't mind if someone else just subbed in. Trying not to be rude, I'd politely decline and make a new appointment when I really wanted to say "NO! You do a HORRIBLE job". As i turned to walk out of the salon after Kim no showed once more without notice, I decided my time and money are worth more than this horrible experience. I'm the mother of a newborn with little time out of the house. I drove RIGHT PAST this salon to Luxecare Nails where Harrison, the owner, knows how treat his customers. This is my first visit. I'm writing this review as I'm getting my pedicure. The salon is much nicer than it appears on the outside. Very relaxing and calming, they even have a fish tank. My enjoyment ends there! While waiting for the technician, I told the "manager" 3 times the water was cold, she did nothing. I then told the tech when she came over. Nothing... she started the pedi and again I said the water was cold. Finally she drained the water and filled it with hot water, at the end! Then 2 people came in for appointments. The "manager" was no where around so my tech stops my pedi to address the customers. First and last visit!! It was not the relaxing experience I was looking for... Harmony Nails Spa is one of our favorite spas. However, they tend to be either really good or really poor depending on the technician that you get. My bride and I visited on April 3rd and we both received really great treatment and care. Our pedicures were exactly what we desired, and the technicians were able to explain all that they were doing and asked appropriate questions throughout. It has been disappointing in the past to not be able to communicate with the technician doing your pedicures. My wife than had her eyebrows waxed. I won't be coming here again. I asked to have my nails soaked off and redone for a reason, she argued with me for a second and then proceeded to just fill them anyways. The fill was horrible. My nails are so so thick and unnatural looking, bumpy. So thick in fact that the acrylic has a large bump where it hits my cuticle. I asked for thin rounded ends and they're so wide. I kept trying to show her what I wanted but eventually I gave up. My pinky nails are long and my middle fingernails are short and look stubby. She also didn't remove the excess acrylic from under my nails. I'm going to have to get them entirely redone. Additionally, she managed to have me in pain most of the time. read more

We were there for 2 and half hours and It was an Aweful experience. I was over charged and went in for a polish change and No Acrylic fill in. What I got was cut and the fear of getting infected and Nobody there listens not even the "owners". The job was very lousy like an elementary child did the nail work. Worst place ever. I have them bandaged up now with medicine on them as now I am afraid of getting an infection :( I see from reviews now that I am not the only one that this has happened to. I was looking for somewhere to get a pedicure that had massage chairs and hopefully no wait on a Thursday night. This salon is on the way home from my work. I did end up having to wait 20-30 minutes which was frustrating on a weeknight. Once they got started the service was great. Very polite. The technician checked in with me frequently about the temperature of the products she was using and the pressure she was using during the foot massage. I got the $45 spa pedicure which include a scrub, hot stones, hot wax, and a 15 minute massage. I'm not super picky about the look of the pedicure. I was more interested in the spa treatments, so I can't speak to the quality of the nail design. I really enjoyed the experience and will be back for another pedicure. read more
