We were out and about during the 40 highway garage sale and decided to get some refreshments at this winery. We were immediately greeted by Melanie who shared their history about the place. We were offered a limited wine list and a charcuterie board. They have slushy's there that you can pair with any of their wines.The Blackout and Fuzzy peach were our winning tastes with the flight. I stopped by Harmony Winery the other day when I was in Knightstown for a birthday party. This was my first time here and the man that served me the samples explained everything well and was very nice to talk to. I tried six different wines with a pour that was decent enough for you to taste! I also tried a dessert wine. I ended up taking home a bottle of Copper Tiger and a bottle of Bolerro. I definitely want to go back here and try some more dessert wines as the one I tried was very coffee and cocoa forward and it was pretty good. Also I was told there would be some different items on the menu for me to try that were being bottled this week. A girlfriend came over on the weekend and we opened the Copper Tiger at home and she really liked it as well. read more

Beautiful tasting room, fantastic host, wonderful cheese plate selection, and-- most importantly-- absolutely delectable wines. The description of the wines, as well as the hype by the owner, made it hard to choose a tasting flight -- but we found out there really was no wrong choice. I was pleasantly surprised that the wines not only lived up to but surpassed the hype and there wasn't one I didn't like! My favorite was the C-Major Cabernet but the Ghost Berry was a unique treat that I'd recommend to both red and white fans alike. Will be back next time we're in the region! read more

This winery is outstanding! All the staff are friendly & very helpful. And the wines! I'm usually a dark, dry wine drinker, but I got turned onto Red Dragon, and another new favorite, Malbec. While I still love their Pinot Noir, these are smooth & delicious also. Being a diabetic it is appreciated there is no added sugar. Five to six ounces an evening is plenty to chill out with, and not harmful to my blood sugars. And the inside has a cozy, homey feel to it. Since I live north & travel to southeast Indianapolis to see my daughter, I'm often assigned to picking up our wines. She's a Ghost Berry fan. This was a great find and very worthwhile. read more

I do not know much about wine but I do know a kick ass place when I see one and this is one of those places. We come to Knightstown for the Mexican restaurant from time to time and on our way home we decided to give this newly established winery a shot. I've been to a few wineries and most of them are large buildings with sprawling grounds so do not be surprised when you step inside this little bungalow. Super neat and clean on the inside with limited seating during the weird times. They did have wine slushy's which are always my go to. My wife opted for one of their wine flights as you can see in the photo is super colorful. They had two different lists of wines you could sample, one was one dollar and the other was two dollars, making it super easy to choose. We just happened to show up on a Thursday which was their thirsty Thursday and they offer discounts on bottles of wine and glasses of wine. The individual who waited on us was the owner I believe and he was super cool to talk to, answered any questions we had and was very knowledgeable on their wines. I'm very surprised with myself that yesterday was the first time for a visit to Harmony Winery! I was impressed with their cozy and welcoming wine room and knew as soon as I read "$5 for 5 tastings" that it was I good place to wrap up the day. They offered dry, semi sweet, fruit and dessert wines. My favorite was their Malbec and I enjoyed it so much that I took a bottle home. The other part of Harmony Winery that was pretty neat is that they make and bottle their own wines. As we were ending our visit, they were busy labeling a box of their bottles. I had such a good time here! We were looking for some close wineries and wanted to make sure the tastings were affordable. We went in and found the 5 for $5 and $1 per additional tasting. This was great for us. All of the wine was delicious we left with two bottles. I believe we got the Rosé and one with blood orange in it. Tended to be a bit more on the sweet side for me, but on a hot day that came in really handy. Also the host was amazing. I learned some history of their specific wines and some more general knowledge about wines. We will for sure be back! read more

I have to say the last couple of times I have been here I have been very disappointed in the staff interaction. me my husband recently sat down and we wanted to tried their flight of ports. we sat down we were not immediately greeted we were not immediately serve with a menu of any sort, the lady was waiting and talking to other people who already had drinks and the 2nd person working , well she did not really want to be there. after about 5 minutes we finally got a menu in front of us we looked it over we did not see the flights on there, she said thise were on the different menu and the proceeded to tell us of flight prices which was not a problem. She then poured the flight, laid the menu down and told us left to right were the different flights and walked away. After we finished, she never came to check on us again till we finished, didn't bother explain any of the ports at all. but over all the flights were very good,a little overpriced for only half bottles.I really recommend that the staff needs to get changed and maybe add the port flight to the menu so others know u have it read more

I hate sounding cliche and starting a review with "I really wanted to like (insert business) but (insert list of stuff of gripes). I seriously love so many things about Harmony except the one thing that matters most...the wine. This just made me sad. I believe my friend said it best when she described the taste of many of the sweeter wines as comparable to the sugar free crystal light packets. Yeah, it just wasn't good. Our waitress was AMAZING! So accommodating, personable, and such a pleasure. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the day before the rain started. Our waitress was attentive despite having to run inside and out to help customers. The winery itself is cute. Simple and modern. Kudos to them for selling cheeses from local gem Tulip Tree Creamery. Their cheese is incredible!! Ok now, let's talk about the wine. One friend had been to Harmony before and ordered her favorite wine which is the Red Devil. They had several tasting options including a 1 oz sample of all menu items. That sounded like a winner to me. We started with the drier reds and worked our way through to the sweeter wines ending with a dessert wine. Out of the drier wines the Malbec was a stand out. It wasn't great, but better than the others. Unfortunately, the sweeter wines were worse. They were just not good. I'm not a wine snob by any means. I felt as if the wine flavor ideas were great, but maybe the winery was a bit ambitious. So many flavors that weren't quite fully developed. Most tasting like a mixture of watered down crystal light. I'm so bummed that none really suited my fancy although the apple flavor wasn't too bad. My friend who is not a sweet wine fan found several she liked. This place has great potential. I know they are new so maybe over time things will improve. I love how they offer glass painting, yoga, karaoke, and do many other incredible events. I would like to go back to try their winter wine menu and get some amazing Tulip Tree Creamery cheese. I wish them the best and hope one day I can be a solid fan. read more

I'm glad I didn't review after my first experience with a big tour group. It was less than stellar. That said, this experience was a complete 180! This was the first out of 2 times that our tour group experienced a server flying solo on a Saturday! The wine I consumed has knocked her name out of my head, but man, she was on it! She was alone, but she had a game plan for all of us! She gave us all glasses, and said she'd just start down the list of each section (dry, semi-sweet, sweet) and pour for whoever wanted each one! We all pitched in to help with ticket collection. If you like sweet wines, I think this is the spot for you. I sniffed most of my friend's tastings of the sweet wines, and they smelled divine! Red Dragon was almost a sell out. We came the day after the Vintage Indiana festival, and I think our group snapped up any they had left! I bought a bottle of their Fireside port. I make an exception on my "no sweet wine" motto for port. Port is entirely different. When the description said "creamy", they meant it. What a lovely after dinner drink! It's a small bottle, but that's all you need. I love the winter art work on it. I think you can really enjoy this after any hearty meal and feel good about it. They have snacks of various kinds in the cooler, and judging by the other reviews, they have a lot more going on than I realized! I did see a sign for karaoke so if you want somewhere other than your local bar to enjoy karaoke, this may be the place for you. I also noticed the free popcorn while we were there. It's always nice to have something to munch on if you're splitting a bottle with someone. Really nice experience, and I'm so glad that I got to give them a second chance! read more

Truly a great experience. Lived in/near the fishers area for 5 years now and we finally explored this gem a few weeks back and had a great time. The owners are super personable and you feel like your instant friends/family upon walking in. When we got there on a Friday night we were the only ones but soon others filed in. Each time a new couple/ group game in the owners made room at the bar and included everyone, felt like a big group of friends. The tasting is $5 for 5 and then $1 each tasting after that. I was really impressed with their red selection and we ended up purchasing two bottles to take home- both around $18.99. A glass was $6. They give you fresh popcorn and/or Hershey's chocolate for snacks between wine samples which was nice. They also have an option to purchase your own wine set and make your own wine with own labels for around $500 and it yields about 28-30 bottles. We scrolled through the labels people had made before which was fun. I really recommend this place for a wine tasting or pre post drink. Perfect for a date night! We WILL BE BACK! read more

Because of a Yelp post, I heard about Harmony Winery hosting a free Friday movie night. I voted online for my movie choice but lost. The majority voted to watch Perfect Pitch. As I got into the movie while eating my take-in pizza, the movie was excellent. The owner offered us free popcorn. I cannot wait for them to host again. I tasted two wines that they make there. I like their Ghost Berry (White Cranberry Pinot Gris) and their strawberry rhubarb (not as fruit noticeable as I expected). I hope to stop by on Sat. or Sun. from 1 - 5 PM to try their free soup or chili during the winter season. They have a wine club for a fee. Also, this winery is among 4 other wineries in a Cardinal Flight wine trail passport for gifts or prizes. read more

An interesting approach to a local winery. It was hard to find (granted it was already dark and the sign was dim), but worth popping in for a $5 tasting. Their wine list was insane - nearly 40 on their printed list - which makes sense why they pre-select the 10 to taste. They change up the tasting list every couple weeks, which, in my book, is a great reason to go again... and again. As with any winery, there were some I liked (Nero D'Avolo - I definitely tasted the "grapes grown at the foot of a volcano" influence) and some that just didn't click (I don't want to skew you). For a dry red girl, their fruit wines were surprisingly good, although I'll agree with Lauren that there was a kool-aid wine slipped in. The only thing I found odd was their wine club. It's the first that I've seen that doesn't include bottles. $45/year gets you tastings for 2 twice a month and use of a special glass. A heck of a deal, but it kind of caught me off guard. I'm not sure when I'll be back in the neighborhood, but I'd be inclined to pop back in and see what was on the tasting list. read more

For our coworker team bonding we headed down to Harmony Winery to celebrate our hard work. A lot of us had never been wine tasting and the 5 wines for $5 caught our attention. The place was really small but felt intimate. You can sit at the bar or gather around the fireplace on some really comfy couches. They make their own wines and have a neat selection. You can even make your own. I tried a lot of the sweet wines because I'm not much of a dry wine gal but for those who had the merlot, it was highly rated. The owners were very welcoming and made the whole experience memorable as they told us about how they planned to retire on a nice boat and travel the world. Terrible terrible place for being a first timer. The man working did not wait on us for an extremely long time. He was mean when he ended up coming up to us. When I didn't like a wine he wouldn't give me a wine that I liked (even though all the wines were not good). He still charged for all the tiny tastings that we said we didn't like. However, the day we went there were only 10 wines to pick from and I knew I wouldn't like one of them (I don't like Chardonnay). Plus we had a four person Groupon but our 4th couldn't make it. They wouldn't let us share the fourth tasting amongst the three of us even though we paid for it! A lot of the fruit wines tasted like kool-aid to me. Went here for a wine and chocolate tasting. The wine was really good and the owners were extremely knowledgable about the product they make. I was expecting the chocolate to be some type of gourmet chocolate from a local chocolate shop, but instead it was store bought candybars which threw me off. I understood the concept though. The wine is slightly higher priced than other local wines. The only thing I'll note is that the owner mentioned that they had a coffee port and that it was the only coffee enhanced wine in the area, which was not true. New Day has a coffee mead wine. I didn't want to break his heart though :) everyone was very friendly and accomodating. I'd love to go back and take a wine class sometime. read more

As far as Indiana wineries go, this was absolutely delightful to visit and partake in their vast selection of wines. I went with a friend to the anniversary event and they went above and beyond on service and hospitality. They import juices from around the world, mostly Italy, while crafting and fermenting the wines at their store. They even allow crafting, for individuals interested in creating their own wine, at the store. I will be sure to purchase another bottle from this location and make my own batch at their store within the near future. Great place to visit for the wine connoisseurs. When Tanya bought her husband Kevin a wine-making kit for Christmas nearly 10 years ago, I'm sure she never imagined it would result in opening their own winery. But here it is - Harmony Winery in Fishers. This is the ultimate wine experience for the DIY type because not only can you taste an impressive selection of wines, but find one you like and Kevin will teach you how to MAKE it, too. Hubs and I stopped in for what we thought was going to be a quick tasting and stayed almost two hours drinking interesting wines and talking to Tanya and Kevin, who are incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. No doubt we'll be back soon to try more - especially since they're starting Old Movie Nights on Thursdays. (Humphrey Bogart? A glass of wine? Yes please!) We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked everything we tried (we left with two bottles. Yes, you can buy it pre-made if you're feeling lazy). Now our only challenge will be to decide which one to go back and make ourselves. But regardless of which one we pick, it's a heck of a deal. Their flat batch rates include the instruction fee, the kit, and everything you need to bottle and label your finished product - and it's surprisingly reasonable. I went to a local wine event last fall and bought some "Dazzle." I went home, put it in the fridge and promptly forgot about it. Well, I just found it, and let me tell you, it is not a forgetable wine by any means! Light, crisp, flavorful, somewhere between sweet and slightly dry--perfect! I plan on keeping this on hand from now on (and I've never really been a big wine fan!). I really want to try the "Razzle" now. Good work Harmony!!! read more
