Take a road trip to this creative winery in Anderson. Try the amazing wine flights. I have never been to a winery with so many fruit wine options. Amazing selection and award winning wines. I prefer dry reds, but my friends loved the watermelon, kiwi, and mango fruit wine selections. We were super hungry and thirsty. We ordered the spinach dip, hummus platter,nut medley, charcuterie board and the meat lovers pizza. Food is delicious! We look forward to going back. Staff is amazing and friendly. Definitely like to come back when they have live music. Cons: Flat breads could be crispier. They were out of the deviled eggs, and several wines. Skip the nut medley appetizer. This is much more than a winery. They have a nice dining area where you can come to celebrate... anything! They have a nice knoshing menu that includes several flatbreads, a hummus plate, nuts, olives and more. The wines are their own and they have different jazz groups on the weekends and some weeknights. Definitely worth a try! read more

Cultured Urban Winery is a beautiful spot unlike anything else in the City Of Anderson! Dr. Bostic works tirelessly and providing upscale and diverse entertainment on a nightly basis! The food is very good and much different from your average bar food! On extremely busy night service can be a little bit sketchy, but the waitresses are all very friendly and very helpful. CUW had their grand opening Saturday and continued Mother's day with two performances from Greg Bacon. This new spot is in downtown Anderson near the Paramount theatre. Small plates are available while you sip and the establishment plans to expand its offerings with a brunch day, cooking classes, & specials from featured chefs. You can purchase bottles of what you enjoy to take home. The service was A1! Our server was very attentive and friendly. She answered every question, made suggestions and gave us extra time when needed. Our glasses stayed full. It took a bit to receive our food but we knew ahead of time to expect the wait due to the location being new and the packed house. There's parking in the lot across the street, including accessible. I got the opportunity to experience this place this last week end. I really enjoyed the experience. We walked it were greeted with a friendly welcome. We were told we could sit where we liked. Then we were given a menu with wine choices and such. We chose and appetizer and we were given a taste of a wine slushie. We made our decisions and were brought our wine. The server was so kind I believe her name was Cora. I hope I have correct spelling because she was awesome. I proceeded to go look over the accessories and things on sale. We all bought tank tops with wine references. I so enjoyed the gentleman that played music for us such great atmosphere hearing a local musician. I was told there is music on the weekends in the evening. I do recommend this place and hope if you haven't experienced it yet you take time to do so. read more

Blacked owned business alert! When I walked into this place, it was the cutest little thing. One of my friends dads plays there live and we went to surprise him. First let's address the bathroom! They had the mouthwash dispenser in there because, you know, garlic. Lol and then they had a basic with literally the cutest miniature "things" from mouthwash, tic tacos, hand sanitizer, pain meds, combs, lotion, deodorant, stain remover, and soo much more. All of these things were purse sized 1-2 use and it's literally genius. If you every forget anything, or on a date and need to freshen up, this is definitely the place to do it. Okay on to consumable! I got a sparkling wine flight, 2 peach nectar and 2 key lime. These were on the sweet menu but if you like your wine super sweet, this is not for you. To me, these were not sweet wines. Even after having cheese, the wine did not taste sweet. I ended up not drinking them because I like a sweet wine and those did not do it for me. Next, the charcuterie! It was soo good. I loved everything about it. It wasn't as big as I would have liked, for it being a large so if you have more than 3-4, you'll need to get 2. The hummus, not my favorite; too much lemon maybe? The spinach dip was okay too. We also had flat bread pizza which was decent. Ohhh they also had wine slushiest and it was delicious. 4 stars because the food was not the best but the bathroom essential made up for it. Visited this new winery in downtown Anderson with friends on a Saturday evening (party of 4). It is a very nice venue with well decorated interior and good menu options. We ordered deviled eggs, wings and nuts and the frozen wine drinks. Most tables seemed to really enjoy the wine flights. To add to the experience, there was live music and not an empty seat in the house. This family run business is a gem that you must check out soon. The wine options are varied and we loved that the menu provided pairing suggestions. Also great they have tables for larger parties of 6 but the vibe is very welcoming and friendly so it's very comfortable to share tables with others and meet new friends. Also there about 5-6 seats at the bar and not a bad seat in the house. read more

Popped in before the Kenny Wayne concert. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the owner and wine maker. We ended up ordering the deviled eggs and cheese platter. Absolutely delicious. I finally decided to go checkout black owned as well as owned by a woman name Treva Bostic I've been hearing so many great things about the wine bar. The wine bar does have live music, wine slushies, and other events in the Anderson, IN area. Someone, from my event reached out to me about Cultured Urban Winery Wine Bar opening, I remember my event page on Facebook did grow big time because of it. Saturday my cousin & I decided to head out to Anderson, it's located in their downtown. Parking you can park in the street, or at the parking lot across the street from the wine bar for free. As, I walked inside the Cultured Urban Winery Wine Bar I was actually blown away(not exaggerating), to the left there was a talented older man that played the piano, sung, and he played the saxophone. The wine bar gave me that elegant, classy, clean, neat, and just a beautiful warm wine bar. The women's restroom was very nice too, clean, basket of items you'll need. It was a honor to finally meet the owner Treva she's so nice, warm, and with a kind heart. The person who served my table India very professional, helpful on the menu, and very kind. The food is DELICIOUS! Everything from scratch! I got the chicken flatbread with the bbq base AND KISSES TO WHO PREPARED IT!!!! Also the spinach dip was good! They had pineapple slushee this day and I couldn't get enough. I can't wait to go back for another experience! p.s when you go to the restroom they have small takeaways in there for cleanliness. I have been there several times. The waiting staff has beautiful and kind energy and the chocolate wine is so unique and different. I love it. I love the unique wine slushies as well...at the moments where there is live entertainment its a really cool vibe as well. Its a clean and refreshing space to chill in and just have a good moment of talk and fun with people you love after a play, just passing by or anytime. Im glad it exist in Anderson. read more
