Spencer Farm Winery is beautiful! This would be an excellent choice for a summer evening if you're looking to sit outside, enjoy wine and take in the scenery! Everything is preference of course however their wine didn't favor ours. We tried a Dry Rose and cabernet sauvignon we were more a fan of the Cab Sav. Spencer Farm Winery is a small local winery in Noblesville, Indiana. The tasting and retail space is a renovated farm house located on Spencer Farm property. The farm house is accessible by a gently sloping ramp flanked by living grape vines. The tasting room is small, clean and cozy. Seating extends to a covered wrap around porch and welcoming lawn seating. Handicapped parking is staged near farm house entrance. Parking is free. The grounds are beautifully planted and cared for. The selection of wine ranges from dry reds, dry whites, roses, semi sweets, and sweets. At this time, there is a non-alcoholic Pinot Grigio available. Some snacks, prepackaged sandwiches, and cheese boards are available for purchase. Cheese boards are somewhat expensive because the meats are locally sourced from Smoking Goose and cheeses are more premium. Customers are welcome to bring their own picnics and snacks. No outside alcohol is permitted. On summer weekends, live music is often scheduled. Sitting in pleasant surroundings with a nice picnic and cold bottle of wine is a great way to unwind. Food trucks are often on site offering a varying selection on those weekends. The farm store is on the property. It's currently strawberry season in Indiana. Spencer's lets you pick your own or purchase pre picked berries as available. Baked goods, ice cream, fudge, and cold drinks are among items available. read more

It was our first time on the property and we loved it! We shared a flight of their dry whites, dry red, and one semi-sweet rose and enjoyed sipping on them. They have plenty of seating options indoor, outdoor, or my favorite - on their wrap around covered porch. My friend took me on a winery tour she created for my birthday and this was one of our stops. This is more of a laid back country vibe. At this stop I got a wine slushie and we sat at one of their tables to rest for a short bit. Friendly service and seemed to be popular as there weren't many tables open, although they aren't a lot of tables from what I saw. This is an adorable hidden gym in Noblesville. It's on E. 161st St. it sits on a 40 acre family farm. I stumbled across it when I went to a farmers market craft type event. They had great wine slushy's and small assortment of food we had a little charcuterie board. There's a great space to sit outdoors and they have live music. They're closed on Mondays but Tuesday through Sunday they're open in the afternoons and I think until 9 PM during the week you need to try this place it's really cute. read more

The area was much larger than I expected, but really it's just a big parking lot in between the farm store and the wine tasting building. We tried the wine first, of course, and sampled a flight at a table on the covered porch. A band had just finished playing when we sat down, and another one was moving in to sit up. They were having a strawberry festival and had more entertainment than usual I guess. People brought in there own chairs, blankets and the like. Food trucks were here too! The farm store was really busy and seemed to have lots of jelly's and country store stuff. I saw an opening between a couple of baby strollers and took my strawberry's to the check out, by passing the many other items available. But we'll be back. read more

Wife and I have been here several times for the live music. The wine is decent and they occasionally have food trucks but you can bring in your own food. Plenty of families will picnic and pet friendly as well. They have tables but we always bring our own. It a really nice setting to spend an evening, enjoy some wine and listen to music. My only complaint is the restroom situation. It's just one unisex bathroom. The wait can be a bit to use. On one weekend they did have some portable bathrooms out but not all the time. We started on the inside, paid $10 for 5 wines. The first was poured. We were given 4 tokens to get the next four tastes. We got those at the outside wine bar. It was a great day at the farm. We're so glad we decided to visit this farm !! It was a beautiful experience ! We wanted to try a winery which had an outdoor patio music and had heard about this farm in noblesville so gave it a shot ! It's a cute little space with outdoor seating overlooking a vineyard and they also have porch seating . We were lucky there was live music so we enjoyed with a bottle of wine ! It's a great place for a relaxing evening if you're looking to enjoy some wine and music . The hosts were welcoming and gave us some good recommendation on wine so be sure to ask them ! The wine is the only reason for the 2 stars. If you like wine, just grab a water and enjoy the outdoor space. We tried a flight of the 4 (cab, Syrah, marachal foch and farm dog). The marachal and farm dog tasted so sour and spoiled. We spent $18 on the flight of four to try and ended up pouring them all out. The farm store and raspberry picking were great though!! read more

Adorable quiet winery to relax after a hot day in the sun picking fruits! If you are coming to try the wine, I'd also encourage you to see what they have available for u-pick. I always find it to he a fun experience to pick your own fresh fruits. The winery has a pretty porch and an indoors area that is well air conditioned. It was clean, and had affordable wines. I am personally more into the sweet and fruit wines, $5 for 5 tastings was perfect for me! It seemed reasonable even to share between two people as the wine menu is not super extensive. read more

Driving home, I had gotten off 161st trying to find a winery that I had been to once before. As I drove for a few miles East, I realized I should have gone West off 31. I tried calling the winery, and the girl couldn't tell me how to get there even though I told her I was going south on 31 and got off 161st. It was all ok because by the time I was going to turn around, there was another winery. I have been to many in Indiana. I have never heard of this one. Super cute place, Old Victoria home Spencer Farm Winery. Went inside it was about 4pm. The gal inside Mallory was so nice. Cute place and the wine was really good. The place opened in 2019 right before the pandemic. It's $10.00 for 5 tastings, and you get the glass. My absolute favorite and tasted totally different than any wine I have tried was peach and honey. I learned a portion of their wines is from California bottled and labeled with Spence name, and some are from Michigan, which they do the same. The ones with a strawberry next to the wine name are made at Spencer Farm. I ended up getting the Peach and Honey, Pinot Grigio, Cranberry, and a Red they used to make a warm spice wine. It was cold outside, and with the holidays, it's perfect timing. They sell the spice packet there. The bottles are about $22.00 per bottle. Before leaving, Mallory told me there is a market down the road same parking lot, and they have a lot of cheese, meats, and other goodies. At the winery, they have music every weekend and you can bring outside food. They do sell cheese, crackers, and meat there. I went to the market, and they had 40% off Christmas stuff. I walked around and they had a ton of stuff. Like packets to make cheese balls, dessert balls, dips, soup, dressings, meat, cheese, ice cream, salsa, jellies, really good fudge they make there, and a ton of other stuff. What's really neat to see is that they support other local businesses and have their items inside the store to sell. They do have items there they produce at the farm. This was definitely a great find, and I can't wait to come back and sit on the patio during the summer for music. read more

Adorable little winery nestled in a quiet part of town. Staff was so friendly and let us taste a few different wines before committing to an entire bottle. It was very busy on a Saturday night and they had live acoustic music that was real nice. They had Yurts said up outside under the pretty twinkling lights which would be fun to rent with a group. We have lived in Fishers for years, but for some reason we have never ventured north and stumbled upon this winery. We had searched live music one night, and found out they were having an outdoor band at Spencer Farm, so we decided to give it a shot. It was the perfect night weather wise, and they provided the perfect environment! The string lights were so cute. The outside tables were very nice. We brought our own food and purchased a bottle of their wine. They also had food trucks but we didn't realize that until we had already arrived with our own outside food. The wine was very tasty and the employee in the taste room was super helpful to let us taste a couple to guide us into what we liked. They had some cornhole and other outdoor games. This winery showroom opened just a few weeks ago, and I was very impressed with everything. The setting is a converted/renovated farm house, and I found the entire experience to be top-notch. As other Yelpers have noted, they appear to have around 8-10 wines currently, but my understanding is that after Thanksgiving, there will be more. I loved their cheese/charcuterie board; combined with the perfect weather the day of our visit, this was a memorable experience. Tip: Having been to several wineries in the area recently, I found this one to be much more relaxing. Maybe it was because the crowd was somewhat light that day, but this seems to be more of an adult crowd here, so plan accordingly. Very relaxing. read more

I love Spencer Farm for it's u-pick produce, like strawberries and pumpkins. I visit a few time a year to get my fix and visit the well-stocked market store with ice cream, fudge, Amish meats, jams, jellies and more. The addition of a winery on site will only extend my visit! Exhibit A: after picking pumpkins with my boyfriend, we went over for a glass of vino. It's in an adorable restored 1800s farmhouse, complete with wrap-around porch. The tasting area was packed with people - I don't think it flows well when there's a crowd - so we skipped a tasting and got glasses of wine to take outside. I got the blueberry (tart and fruity) and he got the peach & honey (sweet in a good way) and let's just say I kept stealing sips of his wine. So glad this business is here! read more

I'm a fan of Spencer farm winery! The tasting room has been open since October 2019, and the wines were pretty good, though they are still working on variety. Not a ton of drier wines, mostly fruit forward. The Cabernet Sauvignon was one of my favs on the dry side, and the Honey/Peach wine had a great taste on the sweet side.... though the Blueberry was a very close second. They have cards and games to play with while you enjoy a glass. Great for a date, they have a few two toppers with a barrel table to sit back and hang. Great addition to Hamilton county. I would have given it a 5th star if the taster offered more information with the pours.. ie where the grapes are from, taste, fun facts, anything... This place is super cute! A friend from out of state is visiting, and we decided to check out a new winery. I wasn't disappointed. Lots of room outside, tasty wines, and a cool atmosphere. In the tasting room, they even had games you could play. You can buy a taste of five wines and they give you wooden chips to go get another taste. I ended up buying six bottles of wine to bring home after having a slushee. The staff was super friendly and they allowed children into the tasting room, although there is more room outside to socially distance. It's my new favorite winery. See you soon! read more

This summer we went with my parents to Spencer Farms Winery. Was unaware they had a winery (?) since I'd only ever been to Spencer Farms for the fresh berries. But this weekend friends of my parents were playing live music. Just an extraordinarily beautiful evening in the country, listening to a very good live band and having some vino. Keep in mind this was also in the COVID mess, and was a (very) welcome diversion in the summer. Stayed for a couple hours and my wife had to drive home. So...yeah. Worst wine I've ever tasted. My mom split a flight of four before deciding what else we wanted. It stopped at the flight. We only finished two of the four. The Cabernet Sauvignon was ok. The Pinot Grigio had NO flavor. The chambourcin/Marquette blend and the Noiret were un drinkable. Horrible. Music was good, but there is no way I'd ever drink their wine. read more

Visited the farm for the sunflower field this past weekend. It's 5 dollars to enter and 3.21 per sunflower you cut. It was a cute experience and fun to find the perfect sunflower to take home. Keep in mind this is a field so it can get muddy! I felt the entry fee should at least cover 1 sunflower, but I'm not in charge of expenses, so I'm not sure if that's reasonable. We visited the market area and looked around at the local produce, meat, fruit, and pies for sale. The prices are similar to what I'd expect at a farmers market- a little costly, but the quality is probably better than your average grocery store. The wine tasting house was cute- I like how it's in an old home because it makes you feel welcome. The sunflowers decorating the walkway in to the house are also a nice touch. Due to covid the tastings couldn't be done at the bar, which I almost prefer. It was nice to be able to take your wine to your table and enjoy it without judgement. I feel that there should be more copies of the tasting notes so you can take those to your seat as well. I like to read about what I'm tasting while tasting it. I did the wine tasting- 5 tastes for 5 dollars. I wasn't a huge fan of the in house wines, the rose was probably the only one I could appreciate. I did like the wines that weren't made in house- the cabernet and pinot grigio were my favorite. They have wine slushies and charcuterie boards for purchase but I didn't partake in those. Next time! They also have outdoor live music which I hope to also enjoy in the future. I'd recommend coming here at least once to check out the mums, pumpkins, u pick raspberries/grapes/sunflowers and stop at the winery on the way out! read more

Went to Country Moon winery and treated like royalty then here and not looked at once. We were there 20 minutes and kept waiting and she pretended we didn't exist. read more

So this is a very cute little winery out in noblesville. They had live music and a good outdoor seating area. When my friend and I entered we walked up to the counter and said we'd never been here before when being asked what we wanted. The worker told us they had flights, tastings and glasses by the wine. And then just kind of stared at us--I was expecting like a "oh you've never been here let me tell you what we have--and wines I'd recommend." When I asked about a wine I was told just that it was dry or that's sweet....didn't ask us what our preference was. The lady just seemed ticked and annoyed that we didn't know what we wanted cause we needed to look at the menu, it was really weird. And it wasn't like we were holding up a line--there was literally no one else in the store. We finally ordered and got a cheese board. The whole time the lady was just really rude to us. Like how dare we ask what was good and order drinks with food...the customer service was beyond lacking. The one wine we got was actually good, the cheese board was really overpriced but I mean we had fun once we got away from the staff. I had the pleasure of going to this little hidden gem with a friend on Friday night! I've been to a lot of the bigger wineries in town, but this was such a cute off, off the beaten path farm venue. The wooded lawn was filled with picnic tables to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to some wonderful music. Friday night showcased a couple playing folk acoustic and it was amazing. We started with a tasting flight of five different wines, which is quite a deal at $10 and you get to keep the cute little glass! We had a lot of fun with the ladies helping us pick a wine! They were very knowledgeable and funny. We ended up with a bottle of Cabernet to enjoy under the stars. Highly recommend. read more

I'd give this place a 3.5-4/5. I'm hoping to update and increase my review once they have more wines, which will apparently happen around Thanksgiving. Currently, they only have about 8 wines, and 6 of them are very sweet. The peach & honey wine was incredibly sweet - if I didn't know better, I would've thought that it was an ice wine. It was like drinking candy! I enjoyed my one sip of that, but I couldn't handle any more! Anyway, when we walked into this little winery, we were instantly hit by the smell. I'm not sure what was going on, but it smelled like a public restroom. I hate to say that, but it was honestly awful. My boyfriend and I quickly grabbed our $5 tasting of 5 wines (which was supposed to be 1 ounce pours each, but really, it was more like 2-2.5 ounce pours each!), ordered our charcuterie, and headed outside. The outside area is pretty nice/cute. There's lots of seating for everyone, lots of nice lighting, and there's tons of room for kids to run around... if you have some wild ones. The charcuterie board tasted great, and it was also a good price. We had tons of meat, cheese, and crackers. I kind of hate when charcuterie boards are loaded down with lots of vegetables and/or fruit, and this one had NONE of that. Yay. We ate the whole thing. First time visiting the Spencer Farm Winery. My friends and I started with the wine sampling - only $5 for 5 samples, pretty good deal! My favorite was the Syrah if you like dry reds and the blueberry was subtle with all the fall flavors! We ordered a charcuterie board half-way through. The board was 35 dollars for a large, definitely more a snacking board then an entree. There's indoor seating, patio & outdoor seating - plenty of room! I wasn't very impressed with the hospitality of our server, I felt rushed instead of relaxed. None the less, I am looking forward to going back o pick pumpkins and dig up mums this fall! read more

Spencer Farm winery in Noblesville is a wonderful winery that is in a hidden part of Noblesville that no one really knows about. The winery has beautiful scenery and has a corresponding pumpkin patch across the way. The wine is OK, especially the syrah and the pinot Grigo. The live music on Fridays is entertaining and they gave great performances. The first time I visited this winery I found the tasting room to be very nice and has nice ambiance. However, I felt a very cold reception from the woman who was helping me behind the counter with my purchase of wine. She appeared to be rude and dismissive towards me. I do not know if she has having a bad day or not, but it made me very uncomfortable. I recently visited the winery again this past Friday, a nd received wonderful customer service from the woman outside selling the wine, so it made up for the first experience. It was so fun celebrating my mom's birthday at Spencer Farm Winery! I can't believe I never knew this was so close to us -- it's surrounded by larger towns, but you would never know it. The farm is on a large plot of land and it feels peaceful and idyllic. We did a wine tasting, and we loved the wines! They give you five tokens for $5, and you bring up a token each time you're ready for your next glass. I thought that was a good system! The peach + honey wine was my favorite, which surprised me. I also loved the blueberry. They recently added blackberry wine, and I did not love that one as much as the others. We shared a large charcuterie board between the two of us. It didn't blow us away but it was nice to snack on while we were enjoying our wine! The cheeses were really good and I did enjoy the mustard and jam that came with it. I believe this is a newer winery in the area. It has wine tasting for adults and pumpkin picking, flower digging, hay rides, etc in the opposite corner of the "farm". I like how they separate the two so it seems like and "adult" section and a "family" section. I did the wine tasting which was a steal at $5 for 5 tastings. I didn't love love any of the wines but they weren't bad. They also add new one and rotate them so I am excited to go back to try again. I will say the tasting room was busy and almost too small. There were a lot of people waiting for bar space which made you feel like you had to hurry through your tasting. I would suggest expanding this into the indoor seating area and having tastings at tables or setting some up outside if that is allowed. We did order a charcuterie boards which was loaded with goodies and I definitely thing we got our moneys worth. They was an array of different sausages, cheeses, crackers, and spreads to try. Everything was fresh and I liked it all but one smoky cheese. We sat outside which was peaceful and everyone around us seemed to be having a fun relaxing time too. There were some bugs but that is to be expected when you are outside. They also have a large grass/picnic table seating area around the side of the house that is you bring kids and want to visit the winery, it is a good place to sit. We did venture over to the family barn around to check out the store and it looked to have lots of fun decor and food items. We didn't try any but maybe next time! This is a perfect addition to Spencer Farms and Noblesville. I am a huge fan of the farm - we love picking strawberries and pumpkins and browsing the store. Living just around the corner, let's just say our whole neighborhood was excited to have a winery open so close. I went with a few girlfriends the week it opened and had a great time. They have a $5 tasting menu where you get 5 1-oz pours. The menu, right now, is small, with 8 wines (4 red and 4 white). However, we were told that they are hoping to add 8-10 by Thanksgiving. I can't wait to try the strawberry one. If you like sweet white wines, you must try the peach and honey wine. There is also a blueberry one that was also very good. I am not a red wine lover so didn't try any of those but heard they were just as good. There's inside seating and a really cute patio with string lights. It was pretty busy the Thursday night we were there and every time I have driven by it is always full. The only food they have is charctuerie boards. Maybe down the road they will add something else...or at least hoping. It would be nice to have simple pizzas or sandwiches. The staff was super helpful and friendly, answering all our questions. I love the outdoor seating and on their Facebook page they said live music and trivia night is coming.
