I said that in order to fix it I would need to be reimbursed $500 that I know had to spend out of my pocket to fix something that they lied about fixing and saying it costed them $2000 to fix when I purchased this car. I was told that could be doable and that someone would reach out and guess what??? Ghosted again!! I would not ever recommend Harold Ziegler to anyone. Bad business Harold Ziegler. Shame on you!! "This is the first review left a couple weeks or more ago" last year I bought a car 2020 Nissan Murano from Jacob Sweeney. Jacob Sweeney was the only good part of my experience. There was an issue that when I got home to Grand Rapids, from purchasing the car, the passenger side corner bumper panel was popped out almost like the bumper came unsnapped. Long story short, Jacob had me come back to have them repair this as I just bought it and same day this happened just driving home. All fixed picked it up and no more than drove home and it was popped again. I had to return not once but 2 more times with this same issue and being told that they fixed it when it fact Trey did not fix it at all. I was told that the last time they had it for over a week as they said a new bumper and parts being ordered from Nissan to replace bumper and clips. I was told that zeigler paid a repair shop that they use over $2000 to repair this. Now here I am a year later with an issue that cause my front bumper to be moved to repair something unrelated and come to find out, that all they did was glue everything. Now I am paying a different company $500 out of my pocket to fix this the right way and not just glue it and lie to me saying they put all new parts to repair it. When I reached out to the manager David Gould at zeigler this is what I was told " We spent over $1700 fixing that car over a "clip. " They had the whole front end off that car. They put it back the best absolutely they could and we are no longer gonna participate in the repair of this unit. One clip turned into almost $2000 on our end and we're not coming out of pocket with any more money. I do understand your frustration, however it was fix the best that they can do. We're going to have to move on and pass on this. This is my final decision, I told Jacob Sweeney that that was my final time taking that up there to get it fixed. And then I'm not participating any more Goodwill monies on this vehicle." I said how can he not be mad at the company they claim that they paid $2000 to not fix but to just glue instead and lie saying they fixed it. If I would have known this repair was not being done correctly I would have chisen to actually not purchase this car and bring my business else where but they kept me by telling me that they would fix this correctly. Now I have to pay $500 out of my pocket for a repair that they claimed to have fixed. David Gould has not responded to any more of my emails since. Terrible way to do business and shame on you Zeigler with lying about a repair to the point of saying they ordered new clips and bumper from Nissan and it cost them $2000 when there is not a single clip put in and only glue. I have pictures of all the missing clip holes with glue everywhere. I have all communication with zeigler through this whole process and I'm mortified that a dealership would do a customer like this. I am paying a lot of money for this car and now having to come out of pocket for something they lied to me saying it war fixed. I wish I could post the pictures of it all here. Don't go to Harold zeigler fire in Plainwell. They are liars and will take advantage of a customer in a heart beat. My salesman Jacob Sweeney was the only good out of my experience.

They found that there was just a bad connection from the battery due to corrosion. They cleaned the corrosion, replaced two bolts, and charged me $19. I'm always weary to go to new mechanics just because I don't know anything about cars and they have the ability to lie and tell you whatever they want to get your money. Jim Koestner's did not do this!! I will definetely be taking my car back whenever it needs to be serviced.

They went straight to; fill out this form and let's run a hard inquiry on your report. Keeping in mind, I pulled my credit report that morning it was a 636 (through the actual agencies; Transunion & Experian). Their credit pull came back 114 point less?! Then they went straight into the sell. They said they could make something work with the most expensive car on their lot - literally. Things to know: 1. If your credit score comes back with more than a 40pt difference - their utilizing their own algorithm to increase your interest rate. Most smaller dealerships work with the banks so their is a percentage split between the two on top of the sell when it comes to a higher interest rate. 2. Not asking anything about my trade, or even wanting to look at it; is horrible! 95% of all customers have one breaking point in their deal - will you take my trade in, and how much will I get? That's it. My car is a problem for my life at this time. I don't want it. What will you give me? 3. Knowing they didn't care about my trade in; I was waiting for the next punch.... And here it came...... "Well how much can you put down?" Yeah, that question happened quicker than a 18 year old virgin in the strip club getting a lap dance for the first time... Did you not care that I had a trade in. I clearly said, I want to trade in that car... Dealers initial response when I pulled in the lot saying I wanted to trade my car in; "nice, yeah we can make something work". Meaning my reasoning for point 4. 4. If I bring a car to you that has a lien on it, which is upside compared to the exact same vehicle on your lot with 10s of thousand miles less and has no body damage (because yours has a dent in the back bumper). And you even think your getting it from me for less than the 50% of the sale price of that exact same vehicle- you're only chasing one thing... $$$. E.g. I owe $4,000 on my car, your selling that exact same one for $9,999 and you only want to give me $3500 - Bro! You didn't even look at the car. Like hello, your going to make double the money today 1. From the car I'm trading in with a 60% mark up and 2 with me buying a new car. Stop thinking about your self. Take always; don't let them run your credit- it's junk; another dealership ran my credit report today; it showed their hard inquiry and was just above 600 which was hell of a lot better even with the loss of 5pts their pull caused me. Couldn't do a deal because they wanted too much for the car I was looking at (carzone did have that- but that's it). Lastly, if they don't ask to see your trade in - walk away anytime after that is a lost.
