Drove my son's car to the service department for diagnostics, and I also was purchasing the necessary parts for repair. The car needed a new fuel pump, so I asked to buy that. When I completed the transaction, the car, which I DROVE in, would not start. I asked the service desk to help me, and their reply was that if I wasn't getting it fixed there, it wasn't their problem. I could either have it brought into the garage there and have it fixed, or they didn't care. I told them several times that it ran when I brought it in, so therefore I should be alone to drive it out. The service desk worker was extremely rude telling me my only option was to have them fix the car, for $1000. Never. read more

Went in to speak with someone about my Volt's 8 year warranty. I came in with a service bulletin from GM relating to my specific problem (Shift to Park issue), that the issue was covered, and how to fix it. There was a lady and a guy named Wayne who I spoke to. The lady was incredibly rude and barked for me to speak to Wayne. Wayne said I needed to speak with the finance department before even letting me speak about the problem. Showed him the papers, he went back to talk to someone, came out multiple times and said "it's not covered for this car." It's a Voltec warranty, for a Volt. Kept going back and forth till I realized they had zero interest in helping and were arguing with straight facts from GM. Called customer service, said the issue is covered, and they made me an appointment at Denooyer. Take my warning, don't go here. read more

Just got my 80 Corvette back from getting a 4 wheel alignment. I questioned the service writer when I made the appointment if they could do the 80 corvette, I was assured they could. I questioned the writer about getting the correct specifications, and again I was assured they could. 2 hours after dropping it off they called and said I really should have an additional $200+ dollars of work done on top of the original price for the alignment. I told them no, just do the alignment. I did request the before and after alignment specs on the car. They did provide those as requested. However, those numbers just prove they did not look up the alignment specs. None of the specification they set to are anywhere near the numbers it is suppose to set to. I may go there for the odd part, but I will never take a car there for any kind of service again. I am now going to have to have another shop redo their work to make the car correct. read more

They sold me the wrong car that I agreed on and when I said something to him he told me "it was to late, and there was nothing he could do, the sale was done!" I went back 3 days later and said there was a problem with the transmission....I was pretty much laughed at and told "Nothing is wrong with your car!" This went on for, well I have had the car for 1 year and 6 months. I had this in to them almost every month for the same problem and the same results every time. I have now taken this POS to Denooyer and got GM involved, and what did they just find......YEP I AM NOT CRAZY THERE IS A PROBLEM AND THEY FIXED IT; NO THANKS TO THEM! This was a NEW CAR when I got it and now....I am stuck with a car I owe way to much on to get out of it.To top it all off I was in the showroom and one of the MALE salesmen said to one of the FEMALE employees " You have to be fucking kidding me, your not going to do our brackets?" If that's how you let they let their employees talk then......well I don't think you need me to tall you! read more

Horrible service department. Bought my car there and month later I had coolant leaking. Of course my warranty didn't cover it, so I had to pay for that fix AND to rent a car. Both should have been paid for by the dealer considering they sold me a car with a bad pipe. Now three months later I have another leak in my coolant and I know I will have to pay more money again. Why is this an issue again when it should have been fixed the first time?! Absolutely awful. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The only nice experience was the salesman I dealt with when buying my car. read more

I bought a 2010 Malibu from Midway two years ago. I drove the car and found the airbag had an error message. The salesman said to bring the car back the following week and they would fix the airbag issue. I took the car back that following week and they "fixed" the issue for a few weeks. The airbag message came on again a few weeks after it was fixed. I again called and took the car in to have the airbag fixed. To make a long story short the airbag has been "fixed" 4 times and it is still not working. I called and emailed the dealership multiple times with no response. I even contacted BBB with no help because it has been to long. So if I were to get in an accident and someone in my car is injured or killed because of a faulty airbag all I have to say is Midway will be sued by my family or myself. To sell a car that you know has an issue and to not fix it properly. I will never buy from Midway again and I hope if you do that you make sure you check the car over and not buy anything that has any issues because they will not fix it correctly. This is the worst experience peroid when dealing with ANY "professional business". Have taken my car there for service three times over the past six months. Every single time I have had to take it back for poor quality. Trim falling off, door panels not not lining up, door panels falling off while driving, loose headlight covers, bubbles in the paint. Not to mention the quality of the rental I was put in. Smelled like smoke, was filthy and shook so bad driving down the road I had to take it back. When I called the service dept to let them know about it I was told that I wasnt paying much for the rental so I shouldnt expect to much. Finally, I called to complain to the manager that, for the third time in 6 months my car still isn't right and he got arrogant and confrontational. He then proceeded to tell me that I had complaints called in to the police while I was driving their rental and that is why I received poor quality of service. This is absurd!! He had no real answer when I asked him why he didnt call me when this "report" was called in. Called the department in the small town they said made the report and spoke with the dispatcher who was on duty that day. She informed me that she received no such report nor did they contact Midway Chevrolet for any reason. Unbelievable. Called back to speak with the manager "Brian" and he hung up on me. What a joke. Believe the other negative posts and avoid this place period. Unethical, immoral, confrontational and just plain shady. I will be taking advice from previous posts and call the BBB as well. read more
