They also took special care not to damage our roof as our house has a curved cedar shingle roof and the shingles are thin and fragile. Derek also picked up three very heavy clay chimney pots from the supply yard for us, saving us the hassle of having to haul these cumbersome items. He would always pick up his phone or call back shortly and answer the myriad of questions I had, despite probably being busy with his hands full. Overall I think they really try hard to please their customers and go out of their way to do it, their work is good and their prices cannot be beat. The price they quoted me was around $3,000, and I've included some pictures below. What concerns me most is the lack of trust I now have in their recommendations. I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. When you hire a company and spend good money on their work, you expect fair pricing, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, that's not the experience I had.

The owner Sparta is a real professional and fine gentleman to deal with. He's a throwback to when craftsmen took pride and ownership in their handiwork. He installed a stunning 300 ft. long 5'high wrought iron fence over a sloping and erratic terrain that is my back yard in Medinah. The job was finished a day earlier than planned in 98 degree (115 humidity index) brutal heat wave that didn't slow the work down a bit. (I actually recommended him to take breaks or even a day off, but he wouldn't have any of it.) He and his helper worked tirelessly doing the back breaking tasks of digging holes, pouring concrete, clearing brush, etc. Sparta actually does the welding and iron cutting himself on site, to ensure a good snug and clean fit. The 3 gates installed are perfectly balanced and swing open and shut with the touch of a finger. The whole job took less than a week and after cleaning up everything perfectly Sparta even threw in an impromptu gutter repair for me. I obtained 5 estimates and researched each one meticulously before deciding on Elite and am so happy I did. I am sure you will be also and I highly recommend them for any fencing installs or repair work you might need.
