We hired Karl to remodel our dated basement which had some previous water damage. After getting several quotes we chose ABA Remodeling based on Karl's great attitude, pictures and reviews of his previous work, and overall price. From the beginning Karl was very communicative and helpful and even helped us deal with our insurance company. He took time to answer all questions that we had and provided suggestions based on his experience. We had an appointment set up yesterday for 4:30 to get an estimate. (The owner had me text him a week ago what I wanted done in our home. So he knew what to expect when he got here.) I texted Karl to see if we were still on about an hour before our appointment. No reply. Around 5:00, I texted him and he said he was working and had to stay for a couple more hours on that job. I asked him why he didn't contact me to let me know our appointment would be cancelled if he knew he wasn't able to keep our appointment. Again, no reply. No customer service.. We had some really awful popcorn ceiling that Karl and David removed. They redid the ceiling, added recessed lights and trim, and our room looks fantastic now! They sealed the room off from the rest of the house as much as possible and kept the dust to a minimum. I was expecting to have to wash the floors for days afterwards as the dust settled, but surprisingly, there wasn't much!
