Just had them tuckpoint my chimneys, pour new concrete crowns and install some very heavy clay pots. They did good work and did it quickly. They also took special care not to damage our roof as our house has a curved cedar shingle roof and the shingles are thin and fragile. Derek also picked up three very heavy clay chimney pots from the supply yard for us, saving us the hassle of having to haul these cumbersome items. He would always pick up his phone or call back shortly and answer the myriad of questions I had, despite probably being busy with his hands full. Overall I think they really try hard to please their customers and go out of their way to do it, their work is good and their prices cannot be beat. I was in panic over my parents' home which needed tons of work on the bricks before I could even consider putting their home of over 50 years up for sale. I called Extreme Masonry and they gave me a quote saying it was just a small job. It might be small to them, but HUGE to me! They came with their crew and in a couple of hours, they fixed EVERYTHING (stuff I didn't even see). They next day at 7 a.m. they were here to clean the bricks and WOW! I am conflicted in offering this review. I contacted Extreme for an estimate on some fairly simple mortar repair on my brick siding. Estimator stopped by very quickly and explained what I was seeing and options. He also pointed out my chimneys also needed some tuck pointing, which when I got to see it up close I agreed with. I asked for two separate estimates and received them quickly. Everything going great to this point. We decided to do the original, smaller job right away and defer the chimney work and responded so. We went quite some time without hearing anything back. We reached out again and got a response but with what I would describe as a not-customer-friendly tone. They did eventually put us on their schedule which happened to be when we were out of town. We mentioned this and that we were OK with them doing the work while we were away but we would not be paying them until we could inspect the work and if that wasn't OK for them to pick a different date. (We were gone 4 days.) Before we got back from our trip, we got another not-customer-friendly communication demanding payment. We inspected the work upon return and found it was satisfactory - no complaints there. So, we wrote out the check and dropped it in the mail. They cashed it and it posted to my account 4 days later. Today, now 9 days past the day the check cleared my account, we received another even-less-customer-friendly communication demanding payment. We replied with the details of the check cashing so hopefully this is resolved. Solid work at a reasonable price but all other aspects of the transaction were very frustrating to the point where we will look for somebody else to do the chimney work. read more

These guys deserve their business name. They are extremely good tuck pointers; and they are quick, no nonsense. They do exactly what the contract calls for. In my case they ground out the joints 3/4" deep and then filled the joints. Watching them operate their trowels was amazing. My rebuilt chimney is looking good; the whole building looks like I'm getting ready to sell. I'm not. So if you've got old, crumbling parapets and chimneys, hire them and get your money's worth. read more

I had some scheduling hiccups, but the work was performed as described, for the amount estimated, and was done well (as far as I can tell). We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable team or more professional service. Our house is old with odd angles and brick shapes. We had a bulging wall that Extreme fixed beautifully. It could have caused problems for less experienced masons... or cost us much more if we'd gone with one of the larger companies in the area. Extreme took lots of time to explain what would be done and why. They replaced our old, ugly mortar with a new color. While they worked, they were careful with the nearby bushes and plants. I received three bids for tuckpointing my home. Darius was the only contractor to tell me the only thing needed was spot tuckpointing. Saved me a ton....thousands. The rain pushed his schedule back a few weeks, but he always kept me in the loop about when he would get to my home. He showed up bright and early on my scheduled day. After the work was completed, I noticed they missed one spot on the house. Since I had given him a check I figured there was no way I would get him to come back and fix it. I texted him about the problem and included a photo. He was horrified and showed up a day later, solo, to repair it. Good work, trustworthy, responsible people. read more

Extreme Masonry did a FABULOUS job on my home. Our neighbors comment frequently on how BEAUTIFUL it looks. We had fake brick on the bottom that was coming apart. We had it all removed and added cultured stone. It looks like a totally different house. It's so modern and cozy and added so much curb appeal. They were very clean and quick once the stone came in.
