Love going here to get drinks or munchies. They have really good hot sloppy joe sandwiches and BBQ pulled pork.

It smelled great and the food we seen delivered to other tables also looked great. We got a sample platter with ribs and brisket. The ribs were over cooked and chewy and the brisket was a lot of fat. The sides were just ok. Maybe it was just an off day for them because I see a lot of great reviews. We stopped in later in the evening so that may be the reason the meats were off. Again, not thrilled with our meal here, but may give them another chance earlier in the day.

My son and I both wanted to try the brisket so he got the platter and I chose the sandwich. I was told they make most of the sides that aren't fried options such as tater tots, which I was happy about. They had the classic barbecue sauce on the table as well as a spicy option. Both were equally delicious. My sandwich came on Texas toast, which is a fave. The portions were a great value as they do not skimp! The fried potatoes are made in house and they were delicious. Even though they don't make the onion rings in house they were also quite good. My one disappointment was, they don't make the majority of their desserts. And the menu states that their daughter-in-law Kayle makes different desserts daily and they didn't have that. They were actually out of several desserts, which was disappointing. Since the only ones they had were not ones made in house I chose to not get one. Since we live 3 1/2 hours away I guess I'll have to give it another shot for the dessert option next time around. Overall, the place was terrific and the folks were friendly. They have a salad bar in the middle of the floor, which is a nice touch. They have a very laid-back atmosphere and it is definitely family friendly. And you definitely get good size portions for the money.

The subway had a seating area both on the inside and the outside and I opted to sit outside. The service was good. My order experience was simple and easy because I had Subway before. I ordered a 12-inch Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich with the following Bread: Hearty Multigrain Cheese: American Veggies: Banana Peppers, Cucumbers, Green Peppers, Lettuce, Onions, Pickles, Olives, Spinach, Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers Proteins: Egg Patty (White) Condiments & Add-ons: Baja Chipotle, Creamy Sriracha, Buffalo, MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette, Ranch, Parmesan, Sea Salt, and Pepper The sub tasted good, but the presentation was not great. The veggies were spilling out from the bread, and I had some difficulty while I was eating. Overall, I liked the location as I was able to grab quick food on our way to Mammoth Cave National Park. PROS: For the price this is a good place to get a healthy meal It was inside at a convenience store where people can grab the food at the same place rather than stopping again at different location CONS: Presentation of the food could be better

The staff is super friendly and jumped up to assist me when I walked in. It smells amazing when you enter the door like smoked meats. I ordered their pork shoulder special with baked beans. It was so flavorful and so much food. There was enough leftover to make another meal. It was hard to stop eating because it was so yummy. Another couple walked up while I was eating and I was telling them how good the food was. They said they knew and eat there at least once a week. I can see why! They are pet friendly and allow dogs oustide under the patio area. This was a delightful spot where the staff makes you feel like you're at home and the food is absolutely mouth watering.

I was super excited to try the hot dogs that were shown in the photos, so I was surprised to arrive to find just a regular hot dog and a chili cheese dog on the menu. We ordered a smoked sausage, a chili cheese dog, potato salad and baked beans. Everything came out quickly, but the bagged shredded cheese on the chili cheese dog was not even remotely melted, so it made the whole hot dog cold. The smoked sausage was literally a regular piece of sausage that looked like it came out of grocery store, with nothing on it. The potato salad was pretty standard. The only saving grace was the baked beans...I wish I had just gotten a tub of those to eat! Sweet, savory, lots of bacon, onions, peppers. Thankfully the price was very reasonable because otherwise I would have felt cheated. So buyers beware...don't follow the pictures, they don't have the majority of those items.

So we made the tough call to drive from Florida to Chicago -- a 16-hour journey. As we headed north, the weather kept getting worse. After about 8 hours, we decided to stop and rest, hoping the roads would improve the next day. They didn't. Instead, we were met with glistening ice-covered forests and roads that looked like they were made for ice skating. Nearly everything was closed -- McDonald's, restaurants, even gas stations (thank goodness for Buc-ee's). Then, like a miracle, we found Cracker Barrel open for business. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses greeted us with warm smiles and seated us by the fireplace. Every single person we interacted with showed true Southern hospitality and genuine kindness. It felt less like stopping at a restaurant and more like being welcomed in from the storm. The food was exactly what you'd expect -- consistently amazing -- but the service is what truly stood out. In the middle of a stressful, exhausting journey, this place gave us comfort, warmth, and a much-needed sense of care. If you're ever near this location, expect great food -- but more importantly, know that you'll be in very good hands. Sincerely, Your friends from Chicago!

Someone decided to pay for our meal. That was a very sweet gesture. The waitress states that every now and then someone does that. That made my friend tear up a little bit. Nice to know that there are still nice folks in this world.

This location was insanely packed. From The drive thru to the interior. Not sure I've ever seen a Wendy's so packed. They handled the line moderately well. After about three minutes my order was taken for a plain single without cheese and only a bit of ketchup. A few minutes later an employee called the name of the seated customer and gave him his order. Another few minutes passed and the next waiting customer was served. Being the fourth customer and having the process repeated in front of me I finally walked out approximately fifteen minutes later with my burger. When I unwrapped the burger it had cheese on it. I was livid and threw the burger towards the front door. I kept the wrapper and bag in my car. The staff was incompetent and very unprofessional. If you are traveling I-65 and want Wendy's, do yourself a favor and stop in Bowling Green or Elisabethtown.
