I recently bought a new car and within a week I was hit from behind. (I know, it sucks). Luckily for me I brought it to The Polishing Pad. Vaughn put my mind at ease and reassured me that any damage would be replaced as new and it would be as if it had come from the factory. He promised me that I would have my car back within a week and he came through. In addition, he arranged EVERYTHING. He called the insurance and even arranged the rental car company to come pick me up from work and when I was done with it, arranged the rental to be picked up from his address- saving me time and inconvenience. There arent enough kind words to say about him or his staff. Each car is brought in each night and treated as if they were his own. I brought in my sports car earlier in the year to take care of some chips in the hood and they stripped and repainted the hood and bumper exactly to match. When I got my car back, it was as promised- perfect-and they even detailed it so it really looked as beautiful as the day I bought it. I can truly say that I recommend Vaughn and his business more than any company I have ever recommended. I was hit twice from behind. The first time, I was in New Dorp Lane and this girl hit me from behind at a red light, not sure if she was texting or she slid due to the rain. either way I had to call the cops while waiting for them to arrive, another driver accidentally hit me from the front by trying to by pass me. anyways my boyfriend at the time mentioned he had a spot where I can bring my car and they do excellent service. I came to Vaughn and showed him my damage, as he approach to see it he, was just wonderful and explain all the steps, the cost and no matter what, I would have my car within a week and my car will look brand new. His Wife, was a doll, she was also very professional and took care of all the insurances process, made sure I had a car rental while I was with out a car. long story short I got my baby back and I was super pleased.. A day before Thanksgiving, I was hit from behind while waiting for the red light to turn green.( just my luck) the lady that hit me was shocked and came to see if I was ok, long story short she offered me $300 dollars on the spot so we won't have to go through the insurance and I said no. Well luckily the cops were a few cars behind and stopped to see if we needed help. This lady was nasty and called me all kinds of names for filing a report. Anyways Once Again I found my self back in Polishing Pad. Vaughn was amazing, he gave me advices on how to deal with this lady who was driving without insurance and license at the time. The Polishing Pad took care of Everything from A-Z.!!! Called Insurance Company while I was there. Dealt with the Insurance Adjustor(Geico, Also Excellent). The entire job was completed in a week. The entire Car was Detailed to the point, it looked like it just came out of the SHOWROOM! I received excellent Service from Vaughn & His Staff. This place was top notch and different from most body shops I have been to. When you walk in it's nothing but class from that first hand shake until they hand you back your keys. My Jeep had small damage to the back panel and bumper from a valet parking accident. Vaughn greeted me, explained what needed to be done with my car to repair it, and then actually walked me through the show and tell process that the car will go through. 5 Stars is nothing compared to the excellent service I received at the Polishing Pad. Their efficiency and swiftness in fixing my car was amazing. I got into a car accident which damaged the whole front side of my vehicle. Faxed them the police report, and Vinny said, "Don't worry about anything else.
