He pulled out a catalog and said this is what you want and it was! He personalized it so it fit perfectly around my diamond! Fast forward 25 years later and I bought my husband a silver pocket knife and wanted it engraved. Went all over Jacksonville and no one would engrave it for me either because it would not fit their machine or they didn't have the time. Of course I should of went to the Corner Jeweler first! He made it happen the same day I walked in. I was able to give it to my husband on our special day and he loves it!

This place SUCKS!…read more Now, I love Kay Jewelers. They have nice jewelry and my husband has bought a lot of things from them. BUT this location is terrible. They are unprofessional. I came in wanting to get my ring resized. They didn't charge me since it was their mistake that my ring was the size of a babies finger, so that was great. They told me it would be down in 12 days. 2 days before I need to pick it up, they called me at 9pm and told me that they are being charged $400 and tried to make me feel bad. I told them sorry but that's not my problem. You told me the facts when I surrendered my ring so you can't call me now begging for money. She told me if I wanted my ring I needed to pay $78. I was livid. So I called customer service and they made them finish my ring at no charge. They were suppose to have it on that 12th day and they didn't have it for another week. They are all rude and disrespectful. WHO CALLS THEIR CUSTOMER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE STORES LOSS ACTING LIKE ITS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT??? It's their fault for not knowing their prices and giving false information. I hate this Kay. So anyways, don't go here if you want jewelry. Take the time to find another Kay Jeweler. We will never give them business again. They will screw you over!! Oh and when I picked up my ring, I asked the lady if my ring would break since they made it so thin. I'm disappointed that this place is still in business. A few…read moreyears ago when I lived in the area, I took a ring to be resized there. The woman at the counter recommended a smaller size since I was between half sizes, and long story short it came back too small. They resized it to the correct size and charged me, which was fine. What was NOT fine was the fact that the resize was obvious-- it didn't even connect flush but one side was obviously higher than the other. I asked them to reshank it for me to make it so that the resizing was not noticeable, but they told me it would cost the full price for a resize. Basically they gave me bad advice (charged me), fixed it badly (charged me), and then wanted to charge me to repair the shoddy job. Bad business practices all around. Avoid this place and go to a real jeweler if you need a repair.
