25 years ago we searched everywhere to find the perfect wedding band. We walked into the Corner Jeweler and described what we wanted. He pulled out a catalog and said this is what you want and it was! He personalized it so it fit perfectly around my diamond! Fast forward 25 years later and I bought my husband a silver pocket knife and wanted it engraved. I am so glad that I found The Corner Jeweler on Yelp!! My necklace broke and I was devastated! I immediately took it over and showed them what had happened thinking to myself this is going be expensive. Lo and behold the gentlemen looked at it and said oh we can fix this and have it ready for you in a day! Talk about someone being excited as this necklace was my grandmum's so it means a lot. The price was very reasonable for fixing broken necklaces. I had the opportunity to look around in the store and they have some really nice jewelry and again very reasonable. I love that its local and not a chain store which is what I try my best to support. Everyone in the store is so friendly and professional. Left my bracelet and earring to be fixed for a couple of months and never even fixed it. What I've learned about small businesses in Jacksonville is that it's either a hit or miss. Granted it was during the holiday season. I waited a month or two after and still never never even call me. Save yourself some time and go to Bradley's. read more

Dropped my wedding ring off to get resized. It's a total of three rings including a double band. They only charged me $50. They told me it would only take a couple days however, it was ready only a couple hours later! AND it was cleaned and looking brand new! They were so nice too. All of your normal chain jewelers will cost you over $50 a ring and take up to a month to get your ring back! Go to corners! read more

Great customer service and prices! I took my watches in on a saturday and they were ready by tuesday.

My wedding ring set had been badly damaged and I took it here to see if they were able to be salvaged. The staff was beyond friendly and very honest with me as far as how repairs could go. In hindsight, I wish I had taken before/after photos because when I came to pick up my rings, I was overwhelmed. They were able to make the repairs and save my rings, and they looked as they did when we bought them almost 12 years ago. Their prices are incredibly low too. I contacted "Louie" via e-mail days prior to going to the Corner Jeweler on 6/10/20 to get an appraisal. Louie's e-mail response indicated it would be a $75 fee for a jewelry appraisal. Walking into the store, the female counter clerk took my bracelet to Louie who was wearing a jewelers mask, working on something. He was dismissive, said I "didn't need an appraisal" and was totally dismissive of this patron's wants and needs. Utmost unfriendly, unprofessional jeweler ever encountered in four (4) states of residing in. Do not do yourself the disservice of dealing with The Corner Jeweler Louie. read more

If I could give this jewelry store zero stars, I would. Customer services was terrible. I'm not sure if he was the owner but he just didn't know how to talk to his customers. You don't say, "I don't have time"... I'm there to give you my money for your services and he made seem like I owed him a favor. I wouldn't trust anyone to work on my watches worth thousands of dollars who treats there customers that way. I can't imagine how he'd treat my watches. Taking my business else where. read more
